Hearing this new information from Amary stressed Dante out, since he never realized that apples were so complex and specific! Apple juice? Wrinkly?? What the heck!!
"Well yes, I'll take that advice and make sure to be aware from now on.." It was strange when he thought about it, since he really must have forgotten about the whole 'apple' thing. In a sense he felt like a betrayer, since Amary was so passionate on the subject last time. He wondered if he had let her down.. and that felt strange.
He had already let her down so many times today, and just thinking about it was making him depressed.
"Well anyway, it really is getting late in the afternoon, Amary. I might have to move outta here soon." There was only so much he could handle in one day, and it would most likely be weeks until he would venture out again. Now he was almost frightened to experience any other verbal-contact..

"Well, alright. It was nice to see you again, Dante, even if we DID have to argue a bit. But you know what they say, passion of any sort is good for the soul."
Smiling, Amary danced over to give Dante a nuzzle. She wasn't sure that she believed that the time had anything to do with anything, but if Dante needed to be alone, he needed to be alone. She liked to be alone sometimes too, so that desire, at least, they had in common. "You take care now, ok? Don't eat anything poison, stay warm, and don't approach any seemingly isolated bear cubs!"
With that rather unique bit of advice, Amary turned away. If he was talking about maybe going, that meant he was ready to go; no sense in dancing around the truth, after all! "See you later!" And on that note, the mare turned and skipped away through the falling leaves.
