Starting Now.
Gustave walked into Kakariko Village, looking around at the scenery... "Hm... Man. We never leave the farm that often, eh?" Gustave said, turning to the teen behind him...

"Yeah, but right now we've got work to do," Link replied, struggling to keep the bottles in his arms from dropping, 'You know, you could help me." Link remarked, staring at his friends empty hands.

"Yeah, I could..." Gustave said, and started to walk over... But, noticed a few women... "But... I have some other business to take care of." He said at once, and turned towards them. "Hey ladies. You bus..." He wasn't able to get that word out as he was smacked across the face, and almost sent to the ground... "Pervert!" One of the ladies said, and walked away.

"Sorry about my friend, he's an idiot," Link smirked, teasing Gustave. The ladies walked away laughing and Link turned to his friend, "Maybe You should try Epona, she might give you a shot."

"Are you still upset about that time she kicked you across the barn. I keep telling you, she was scared, that's it," Link responded then spotted the store he was looking for, "Alright come on. If your not gonna carry anything, you could at least open the door for me."

"Yeah, Yeah..." Gustave said, "I still think she's trying to kill me." He stated as he stared at the horse. Gustave walked over to the door, and opened it for Link, "There you go..."

"Thanks," Link walked in and laid the milk on the counter, "I'll be back with some more in a minute," Link told the storekeeper. She was a few years older then himself and watched the store for her father who was an old patron of his mother's.

Gustave nodded, and waited a bit... Then, he decided to help carry some of the milk in. He quickly walked around Epona, avoiding her back legs, grabbed some milk, and carried it inside.... He put the milk down, and looked at the storekeeper... "Oh my..." Gus said, looking at her.

"Do me a favor will ya, put down the bottles before you hit on her," Link sighed, knowing full well what would happen. 'I really need to buy blinders for that guy,' Link thought as he left the store. He walked back to the cart and grabbed another five bottles. He could tell that Epona was getting restless, she was always a little on the wild side, "It's alright girl, we're almost done."

Gustave meant to say: "Right. Got it. I won't hit on her." Somewhat softly, but it came out as this: "Mazblingly!" As almost as loud as he could, then said under his breath; 'Oh s**t.'

(sorry, had to eat dinner)
Link reentered the store as Gustave was placing the bottles on the table, 'Wow, I really thought the floor would be covered in glass by now. I told mom he wasn't completely useless,' the blond thought as he set down his bottles, "So how's the old man holding up?" Link asked the girl, trying to start up a conversation.

Zelda walked into her fathers sitting room, smiling expectantly. The King, however, did not seem to notice his daughter; he was bent over a his desk, which was strewn with various bits of paper, and muttering to himself.
Zelda waited patiently for another 30 seconds or so, then spoke softly. "I can come back later, Father."
The King looked up, and Zelda had to force her smile to stay in place. He looked exhausted in a way that went somehow deeper than mere lack of sleep. He smiled tiredly. "No, Zelda, come in. Sit down. There's something I need to discuss with you."
Zelda sat gingerly down in the chair beside him, trying to crush her growing apprehension. This, after all, was the man who wouldn't let her keep messenger birds out of the fear that she'd make herself ill.
"You know, of course, that in the last six months relations between the Gerudos and the rest of Hyrule has become somewhat," he paused, his mustache quivering as he thought, "Strained. More so than usual," he amended.
"Yes," replied Zelda, her face guardedly curious. She wasn't sure where this could be going.
"Well," said the King, seeming to grow increasingly agitated with each passing moment, "I believe I've-" he broke off, then reached over to cup her pale cheek with his hand. "You know that I love you, don't you Zelda?"
Zelda swallowed. That statement couldn't lead to good news. "What's wrong? Please tell me, father!"
The King avoided her eyes. "I have just promised your hand in marriage to the leader of the Gerudos," he said, his voice resigned, gesturing to an official-looking document with the royal crest at the top and his still-wet signature at the bottom. Zelda's face went dead white. She said nothing. The King's face became anguished. "It is for the sake of peace, Zelda! This is for your people!"
"And what," asked Zelda, her voice all breath, "Is the name of my betrothed?" She felt strangely lightheaded.
"His name is Gannondorf," said the King, looking taken aback, "But I don't see what that-" He broke off as Zelda got shakily to her feet. "Zelda?"
She looked at him, but barely seemed to see him. The world around her had taken on an odd, smoky quality. "I have to..." she began vaguely, then trailed off for a moment. "I have to look something up," she finished, walking out of the room.

Gustave shook a little, and looked at Link, saying, "Brr... Is it just me, or did you feel a chill...?" He walked towards the door, and stood, wating for his reply...
