"Greetings General." Amos spat out the formalities, not due to his feelings towards the General, but that was just the way he was. "I have a suggestion as to where we should break camp."

Looking directly at the General with his unnerving eyes, he said, "There's an overhang directly that way," he pointed towards the mountains, " Where the Mountains start their ascent. It should protect us from this weather."

It would be nice to be out of the stinging snow, and he was sure everyone felt that way.

Jericho scanned the vantage point, "Agreed. Lead your men and the rangers there first; I trust you to ensure that the spot is secure, and it will give us an advantage to spot any potential pursuers before they see us." He veered off from the commander, bringing his fingers to his chapped lips and whistling, "Alright!" He said firmly, loud enough to pierce the din of quiet conversation the survivors were holding amidst themselves. "We've decided on a spot, not far from here, to set up camp. All calvary men and rangers are to accompany Commander Amos to secure the location. All clerics rally up, pool your supplies; we have a lot of wounded allies to tend, and I want to make sure everyone gets the best care we can provide. Move out!"

Nodding to Amos, Jericho continued on, allowing the Commander to lead his two units ahead of the rest.

Amos followed the Generals orders and set off for the campsite with his troops trailing behind. He didn't look back to check if the troops were actually following, but he knew they were. Amos had no patience for negligence, and they all knew it.

Amos swung up on to Avitus and could see the campsite better from a different vantage point. He could see no signs of anyone being there, the snow was undisturbed all around, but that could easily be from magic.

Nereid heard the general's command and grinned appologetically at Kenya.

"That's my call to duty... being a cleric..." she said, trying to sound cheerful. The loss had deadened her morale, but she still tried to keep a fun face.

"General, where should I report for healing?" she asked, catching up to the man.

"Teroh, Teroh Kirtar. And it is nice to meet you also Rena." Before Teroh could say anything else the orders were given by the commander. "Excellent maybe I can get this arm fixed soon." Teroh looked down and saw that now the entire arm was starting to turn purple. "It certainly isn't look to good is it."

Rena looked down at Teroh's arm and replied, "Yes, you should have one of the clerics take a look now. If you will excuse me though, I must catch up with the Commander; he never wastes time." With a slight bow towards Teroh, Rena ran off on foot towards Amos; Rena did not have a horse but she was fast on her feet.

Looking around the area where the supposed campsite in the distance, Rena didn't see any signs of movement either, other than the snow. Everything fell silent ahead and all she could hear now was the wind and the subtle movements of the group. Rena inquired, "Do you have any orders, Commander?" She then raised her bow up to eye level and steadied the arrow between her fingers, ready to shoot if any danger was apparent.

Kenya watched Nereid run off, and then looked around. Everyone seemed to have a drop more life in them at the prospect of rest. Even if it was only in tents and out here in the cold. She eyed the mountain ledges around them cautiously. It was doubtful that there would be any enemies here, but it never hurt to be careful. The most they would probably have to worry about in this climate were wolf packs, but there could be bandits and maybe even a small troop sent by the enemy around. One could never by certain.

Ryu had set up camp outside the army's area. The ydid not want him camping around their site, as he had desreted the army years ago and was fighting to protect his family and that alone, not to serve the king or whatever. His fire ring was set up, his tent was pitched and his bedroll was prepared and ready for sleep. People were running frantically running around, looking for a place to set their tent, he dearly hoped no soldiers would stay in his tent, they could only be rude, like the generals of the past. He hated them, except for the women soldiers, they were OK. He went to his tent and layed his head on a pillow, he needed a bit of rest after his day.

Kaome had set her fire and tent near the back of the army. She looked at those was running around and sighed, I'm stuck with them over the winter...with nothing to steal. She wrapped her blancked around her and stared into the fire. The blaze calmed her mind and she got lost in her thoughts.

Kenya went over to one of the supply wagons, and got a small tent. She then made her way through the crowd, looking for a place to set it up. It didn't take long, and she began the process of putting it together. Inwardly, she was hoping that she wouldn't have to share. The last thing she needed was someone asking her what was wrong when she was on the verge of tears at night. But she wouldn't turn down someone if they needed a place to stay. They only had so many tents after all, and she still had kindness enough to not turn someone away. She just hoped that wouldn't have to be the case.

Nereid walked around, tending to those injured. The other clerics were also tending in their general areas. By the time she had finished, all of the tents had been taken.

"No..." she murmered, saddened. Seeing Kenya sitting alone, she considered.

~I need a place to sleep...~ she thought, silently apologizing to the girl.

"Kenya? Could I share with you?" she asked, sounding sorry.

Kenya looked up at her in surprise, "Ah...sure. If you need a place to stay," she offered, albeit a bit sheepishly. But she put on a friendly smile none-the-less. It wouldn't be too bad, after all. Nereid seemed like a nice girl, and she could see them becomming friends.

"I just have to put a leash on Flux to make sure he doesn't try to eat your bird," she stated, looking down at her cat affectionatly. He meowed, seemingly in complaint of what he heard.

"Right..." Nereid said in response to Kenya's comment about Flux.

"Cute kitty!" she exclaimed, bending down to scratch the cat behind the ears. Then she reached back inside her cloak and pulled out Semele.

"You won't have to worry. I'll see you later, Semele," she murmered, allowing the sparrow to fly off. Pulling out a small whistle, she showed it to Kenya.

"She stays near the camp, so when we are ready to leave, I can blow this and she will return," she explained, smiling.
