*Veet's words jangle on Djanni's ears, stirring the Fire with sudden violence. She bites her tongue, tastes the blood as it froths on her lips. Not here! She will not succumb to the Fire in the midst of her team mates, no matter how vicious their wounded pride. Djanni is better than that! Swallowing the blood, she chooses her next words with deliberate care*
"Veet, I fear you missunderstand me. Tobar has what you do not and you have what he does; together you are a well-matched pair. Your skills are most effectively paired together, he the attacker and you the unstoppable defense. My apologies if I did not make that clear to you initially."
*Turning away carefully, Djanni hopes that her explanation will suffice and diffuse Veet's temper. Had she understood that she was operating with another foul-tempered adventurer, she would have been vastly more careful in her phraseology. Djanni reaches for her flask of Crystal Whiskey and takes a sip. The Fire quiets, but she will have to double her guard against it now. Things are not off to a good start.*

"Just curious Djanni, what are you drinking?" Perrian asked as he walked with her.

*glancing up at Perrian out of the corner of her eye, Djanni snaps the flask shut and hides it within the billowing charcoal cloth of her garments. Glancing back over her shoulder nervously, she speaks to him softly as they continue to walk*
"I have a...condition, a curse. Elvish Crystal Whiskey is one of the few things cold enough to keep it under control, and by far the least expensive. I would not tell you even that much, except that as our leader you have the right to know. Be assured, I will not allow my judgment to be impaired."

"Ok Djanni, I just was curious and wanted to know. If there is anything I may do to help you with your curse just let me know and I'll try to help the best that I can." Perrian said to Djanni.

"No problem Djanni. I understand that some people need different stuff because of certain things. Do whatever is necessary to help keep the curse under your control." Perrian smiled.

Perrian smiles and nods. "That's all I need, just your best, if possible." Perrian went quiet in deep thought. "Just curious, do you think there possibly is a cure for your curse?"

*Djanni smiles grimly* "There is. My death would suffice I think. But I make a morbid jest at my own expense. In truth there is indeed a cure; it is the very reason for my presence here."

"If you want, after we finish this quest for Shiva, I could help you search for the cure." Perrian nodded.

*Djanni smiles, grateful* Thank you. Fury has offered his services as well...perhaps the three of us shall travel together.

"Perhaps the three of us shall. I have met Fury before and he is a nice man, and also is very strong. I talked to him in the tavern and have challenged him in his training grounds. I almost defeated him, but he defeated me in one turn." Perrian chuckled. "So, after this, lets see if Fury is up to going on a quest then we'll all head out together. Ok?"

(I don’t care about the dice, RPS is the only thing right at the moment that brings joy to my pushup ridden life. Use average for the combat die for now.)
Better idea, I have dice in real life. Just say in your post what you need rolled and I will roll it. You’re just going to have to trust me. (Then again I think I have always given the opinion of a DM that likes to do good things for players so I hope nobody would accuse me of all people of screwing them over)
As you walk around the beach both teams come upon the same interesting sight. If you had not been looking for something suspicious you figure it would have gotten past you. But since you where looking you notice something shining in the sand near the ocean. When you go to investigate you see that it’s another small plate with buttons on it. The difference with this one is that it has a small red lit up button on the bottom right corner. Both teams find the same little plate at about the same distance from the main entrance in opposite directions.

"Djanni, what's this?" Perrian said and walked up to the small plate with buttons. "Seems like...another place to type in a password, but it seems like it has already been typed in, it is glowing. Could someone have been here recently?"
