Naruto blinked at Shino, and watched him wander out of the room to make tea. He slowly reached up and grabbed the cloth, resting a cheek on it for a moment, before slowly shifting back to lay down. How did he manage a fever? His eyes drifted closed as he waited for Shino to return, being obedient and doing what he was told to do. He let out a small cough to keep himself awake, as he'd slowly began drifting off to sleep again.

When he went back into the living room a few minuets later, he saw that Naruto was struggling to stay awake. He set the try down that had the tea and some crackers on it on the coffee table beside the couch, then moved closer to the other. "Naruto, your body is trying to heal itself by trying to rest. You really shouldn't fight it. As long as you're not loud, I don't mind if you rest here awhile."

Naruto's eyes shifted open a bit as Shino spoke. "Yeah, but..." he mumbled, but didn't finish his sentence. He saw at least some of the knowledge behind the Aburame's words, and settled again, letting his eyes closed. "Thanks... Shino." the blond mumbled. "Sorry about all of this." He then apologized with a soft sigh.

"If you feel the need to repay me, when you're feeling better we'll spar again. This time without you getting sick or being clumsy. Now sleep." He left the living room and went into his own room that was just across from the couch on the other side of the room. He made sure to shut the door behind him because he didn't let anyone else in, not even Kiba or Hinata had made it in. He busied himself by cleaning his pet spiders cage and throwing some crickets in afterwards.

Naruto grinned from where he lay. "You've got it." He murmured. He listened to Shino disappear into his room, and then allowed himself to relax some more. He was soon back asleep, dreaming a few dreams that made him mumble and make noises in his sleep. It was becoming too hot for him again, and then all of a sudden it cooled down once more. He relaxed a bit more with the coolness, though he still had troubling dreams.
Naruto awoke hours later with a dry throat, though he was feeling a bit better, and more rested. He opened his eyes and shifted to sit up, intending to reach over and grab some tea to wet his mouth with.

Shino had been in the middle of cleaning his already spotless apartment when he noticed Naruto fussing about on the couch before waking up. He had already got fresh water a few times while the Uzumaki had been sleeping, wanting to make sure that it would be hot for whenever he woke up. He wouldn't let the other know that though. "How are you feeling, Naruto?"

Naruto almost jumped when the Aburame spoke, but didn't because he was pouring some tea. He seemed a little surprised that it was still hot, but pushed it away as he slowly took a few sips. "A bit better..." He murmured. "Thanks." If the tea hadn't been hot, he would've chugged the cup. Instead, he continued to sip at it nonstop. "I'll leave in a little bit and head home, so I don't take up your couch anymore."

He shrugged. "There seems to always be someone there so it doesn't matter if you stay. As far as I know I don't have any missions coming up, but if you want to leave go ahead." Though I really don't mind the company...sometimes. "If you're hungry I can make something up that will be easy on your stomach. It's been a few hours since you last ate."

Naruto frowned a little. "Did I really sleep that long?" he murmured to himself. He sipped at the tea more, and thought for a few moments in silence. Finally, he looked back to the Aburame. "Well... I am a little hungry... but, only if you want to cook." he gave his reply, and set his now-empty cup back on the tray, for the time being. He still had a little bit of a fever, and he noted he still had his jacket on, so he took that off and let off a soft sigh. His tank top was soaked with sweat, so the sudden cool air on it was refreshing.

After getting the yes, Shino had gone back into the kitchen to grab some food. He already had some stir-fry going since he himself was hungry, and it was done. He filled two plates and went back into the living room to find Naruto stripping. His eyes moved over the muscled form and noticed he was soaked with sweat. "Here, I'm sorry there's not much meat in it. I haven't restocked since Hinata and Kiba were over the other night for dinner." He sat down on the couch beside Naruto and set the plates down on the table. "When you've finished, you can use my bathroom. The shower part doesn't work right now but you're free to take a bath."

Naruto murmured thanks to Shino. He looked up to him and blinked a few times at the mention of a bath. A nice, cool, one sounded nice... However, he didn't have any clean clothes there, and he didn't want to stay there for longer then he needed to. When he was done eating, he was really tempted to leave. He'd already made a fool of himself for getting sick in the first place... some part of him didn't really want to have anyone take care of him, even though they already had.
Naruto said a small Itadakimasu, and then take a bite. "I think... I'll just head home." He mumbled. "Thank you... for everything, though." he added, giving the other male a greatful smile. "I'll work on getting better... so we can spar... again..." he began blinking several times, somehow losing his focus on the Aburame as fever began hitting again. He set his food on the table and rubbed at his eyes.

"Alright." he said then noticed Narutos face become more red than it already was. "There's a small trash can on the other side of the couch if you need it. The bathroom is through the kitchen and on your right. Either way, you really don't look good right now. Are you sure you don't want a bath? I will bring your fever down."

Naruto's head began spinning again, and he guessed that was a sign that he should lay down. So he did, sort of, shifting to lean back agaisnt the back of the couch, and tip his head back. "I'll... be fine... in a little while..." he mumbled weakly. "I'll leave... when it passes..." he panted a little. His stomach was churning lightly, and then he was up and wobbling in the direction of the bathroom, not feeling well at all.

Shino was right behind him, holding one of his arms for support and helping him in the right direction. He let Naruto go when they were inside and stepped out into the hall so he could have privacy. "If you dislike being here so much, I can help you back to your own apartment. I don't think you should move any more than necessary though."

There were no real noises of Naruto hurling, but he did sound pretty close. "It's not that I... Don't like being here...." came his mumble from the bathroom. I just think i'm being a burden... Came what he was going to say next, in thoughts, as he actually did heave something up. He groaned afterwards, and blacked out for a few moments, before waking again. His stomach was still lurchy, so he remained kneeling there. "Ugh... I hate getting sick...."
