A wish is like a special dream floating like a light fluffy cloud right in front of the person calling it. Would it be right to speak that wish in the presence of another for the fear of the star becoming angry Cassi wondered. And just what silly notion was this that filled her head anyway. Themis had a right to know since he brought her to this very secret place where they stood.
Pondering her thoughts she decided right then and there now was the time. Looking upward as if another star would fall she smiled, "Well... its not that big really to not tell you..." she said with a bit of quiver in her voice.
"What I always wished on..." her eyes twinkled like little shining diamonds, "Is to be happy like mama is with daddy and a family." She blushed knowing she sounded like one of those silly dreamer foals that dreamed of the perfect guy and the perfect life. Typical childhood wishes that intertwined and molded into adult fantasies. "But I know wishes don't come true that fast either. But, now that the star has fallen for us... well your happiness will help me to remember there's someone out there just for me." She couldn't help but blush speaking her childhood wishes in front of him. Maybe he'd think her silly for wishing something so big, or maybe he'd be happy she was finally realizing her wish and speaking it out loud.
Still she was content that it had gotten off her chest and seen her first falling star. Noticing another flash in the sky she whinnied, "Themis look up real quick before it disappears."

Thémis paused, he calmy listenning at everything Cassiopeia had to say. He understood she would say it, and it would be something important. He didn't said a word before she finished, looking at her like at a beautiful treasure.
She finally said it. She thought it was childish, how can it be. For him it was the most beautiful wish, a wish he perfectly understood for him who lived happy with his mother and his father.
"It's so like you Cassy" this time he used the username on purpose, because they shared something special, he thought he could. He knew she would correct him if he mistaked.
"It's the most lovely wish i ever heard. I hope you will find someone for you, someone who will make you happy". He smiled at her. His wish from now will be it too. She was so cute with her blushing face it almost made him laugh but he didn't got the time.
As Cassy voice come at his ears he looked up at the sky, being finally able to see a falling star. "Beautiful. Look like we have chance tonight. Would you like to sit with me and stare at the sky to see if some others show up ?"

Cassi thought for a moment on her wish, hoping Themis too would find the perfect someone. He was a wonderful friend with a big heart. She looked upward toward the sky nodding, now her wish would come true since the star was listening.
Perking her ears to Themis she nodded with a small giggle heading over to sit with him. Letting her long tail lay behind her, she adored looking up at the sky with him as they waited for more shining diamonds to streak playfully in their decent to the ground.
"A wish is a very powerful thing. As are those born of the stars. Like mama I know I am born from where the stars fall. So someday when I have children they will come from the sky too. But for now Themis, lets just be foals again and watch the falling stars. I hear being a foal is forever if you let it happen. Isn't that a wonderful thing?" she smiled and nudged him like a foal would, her laugh pure happiness along with her glowing horn.

The stallion put his wings on Cassy's back, the night was a little cold right now, his feathers would keep them a little warm.
There was actually many falling star this night, like if all the stars come to grant them a wish. Their calling was that strong ? He wondered, it was a strange things to see all this shining things running fast through the sky.
"Yeh i think too. I'm the child of the night so we are strong together, you the sky, me the night" He laughed, it was an amusing idea, because he was not really black actually.
"Yeh we can stay a foal in our heart, it's important. My mother said it to me too. She said if we can remember our young time, when we have babies we will be able to understand them even better."
He nudged her back, but he blushed a little, like when he was a foal actually. Because, well Cassy was a girl, and it was not the same as with his sister.

Cassiopeia sat beside her friend thinking how she was that little unicorn trying to figure things out in life. How she had always dreamed of being a bigger version and could finally understand why she had a horn and what it was for.
"I'm the sky... ooh you are the brightest night I've ever seen then Themis. Perhaps you are like the moon that illuminates the sky, right? Very rarely is the sky without the moon unless its a new moon. But you remind me of a full moon that glows with the twinkling stars all around." She laughed letting her horn twinkle in full radiance as she rested her head against his shoulder.
Would it always be like this she wondered with the stars falling so freely, or was it just a special night they'd remember for a long time. Soon daylight would come and she'd need some sort of rest. But for now she let the night sky be her day, and her laughter light the sky at night.

Thémis blushed deeply. He heard sometimes he was not related to the night because of his white fur. Cassy was the first one who said such a wonderful things about him. He was the moon !
"Thank you Cassy, so if i'm the moon you're my lucky star" he winked, his checks becoming as much hot and red as the mare rested her head against his shoulder.
The day was coming but like her, he just wanted to spend the time like this, listenning to Cassiopeia voice resonating like crystal

The daylight was slowly rising to meet the sky that still painted over them in the black canvas with a thousand lights. But Cassiopeia wouldn't even take notice right out time was catching up to them. She closed her eyes willing it away for night would always be her guide within her life. The shining sky sitting beside the moon as they looked down or up in this case at the ocean of stars above them.
If she wanted to be a filly then she would. A filly that would laugh and play till daylight became fairy tales. Sighing lightly as she still leaned her head against him she noticed another star and giggled. "Themis I will never forget the starry nights and magic they shared with you and I. How special we must be to see such pretty lights streak through the sky. The moon and the sky forever smile upon the world below."
She laughed as her voice chimed as her necklace jingled with a small swirl of wind.

Here was the time. The sun was coming in the sky. Their night was finished. They would need to be appart once again, and it made him a little sad, he liked to be on Cassy' side. But he knew they would be friends for long and met again.
"I will never forget too. It was really magic, even more by your side." She smiled to her, listenning her laughed for the last time of this night.

As the sun was rising Cassiopeia knew she could no longer keep it from coming and finally gave in to letting it arrive. The stars were disappearing as she watched them fade one by one. Never would she forget that night... ever. Stars of their own accord had fallen for both her and her best friend.
"Well, "she spoke with a soft smile as her horn flickered back at him, "I think I should be heading home before sunrise makes the world bright again." Leaning into him she nuzzled his shoulder as a foal would her best friend or mother with affection.
Many things lied ahead for them both and Cassi knew deep in her heart the night always followed the day. Perhaps she'd pick some of those lovely white lilies before returning home again. They were very pretty and like Themis her moon shined bright and happy.
Standing up she smiled at him with a shake of her mane as it swirled around her. "Remember Themis... the night always comes. You are the moon and I am the sky... always."
Then she cantered off with a small jingle of her necklace back to her home where she would rest until her endless shining world returned. Such a beautiful sight it was as she too was a star that had fallen from the sky.

Thémis didn't move first. He looked Cassy moving first. Then he stood on his leg. Here was the time. But he knew they would always met when the night come. Maybe not today but it would happen again for sure.
"We will meet again Cassy i promise" he smiled to her and he looked at her when she left. Time for him to go home too, he would have a lot of things to tell to his friend, even if he would keep a part of this night for himself.
He shoock his wings and then he started flying. The morning wind was really nice. It changed a little his mind. He flew towards the teepee.
