"You can't catch me Axel!"
Demyx laughed, leading the red-head off around a tree before doubling back towards the gambler. He didn't want to get too close though, as it simply wouldn't do to have Axel run off and tag Luxy instead of continue to chase him.

He chuckled slightly at Axel's words and settled down. He had a feeling he'd either end up being base or the two would end up wrestling around either on him or very close. Axel wouldn't be above stepping on him to get at Demyx.
So long as the red-heads body parts stayed out of range of his teeth.

The red-head bounded after him, doing his best to keep up with the energetic little youth. As they neared Luxord, the elder took a flying leap at the boy.

It was at that moment that Demyx made the fatal flaw of looking back to further taunt the red-headed Kitsu. Green eyes widened as he saw the flying Axel headed straight for him. The musical one tried to dodge, but it was simply too late. With a loud "OOF" the youth slammed into the ground and tumbled head over heels with Axel. At the very least he was able to somewhat steer their tumbling away from the older gambler, and soon he came to a rest right before Luxord rather than on -top- of him.
Demyx gave a dazed squeak, not attempting to pull himself out from under the mass of limbs that was Axel.

"One often wonders how you are lucky enough not to break limbs when you do that." The two had landed not far from where his legs were stretched out and he poked the younger one with a foot.

Axel chuckled wickedly. "What was that about not catching you?" the red-head purred.

"mmrph fineeee...you caught me..."
Demyx stretched, poking back at Luxord with his own foot.
"The master of odds is wondering about my luck? Silly Luxy, maybe I got it from you?"
Gambler replied to, the young blonde tried to squirm free enough so he could poke at the red-head pinning him down.

"I suppose some of it could have rubbed off." He smirked. He knew his words would only give Axel more to tease Demyx about but it was always amusing to listen to.

"I wonder how that could have happened," Axel stuck his tongue out in mock disgust. He didn't want to think about the two of them rubbing anything off on each other. The red-head slackened his grip, poking the boy's forehead with his own paw.

As usual, some of the words being tossed around went right over the young blonde's head. Then again, if they didn't, would it really have been as much fun to talk to him?
At the new assault of poking, Demyx gave a spastic flail and tried to poke back.

"He has a point you know Axel." He grinned as he shifted and stretched. Yawning he flexed his paws and got up to nudge the red-head's side with his head.
"Unless you like rubbing on him yourself?"

The red-head leapt aside, releasing the boy. "No way!...No offense Demyx, but you're not my type.." Axel ran a paw through his hair, brushing it back into place.

Demyx pouted rather heavily at that. As Axel leapt aside, the blonde scrambled back to his paws and stood beside Luxord.
"...Why not?"

He chuckled as Demyx pouted and Axel jumped away from the idea of liking 'rubbing' on the blond. It was always nice when you could make Axel second guess his own jokes.

"I didn't say I don't like you...." Axel answered quickly, not wishing to see the boy cry at his own words. "I just don't like you....like..the way you like Luxord.." the red-head attempted to explain in the simplist terms.
