"Or maybe those that say them are fools for understanding such foolish things?" Her brow lofted, that slight smirk curving her lips in an almost teasing manner. "It is, perhaps, one of those things that you or I may never understand... But I am certain that others at least pretend to."

"I suppose that is a more likely possibility though." He laughed kindly not sure what to make of her expression. Was he being foolish? No, she seemed as though she were enjoying herself. It was just a bit of friendly fun it would seem. "They would have to think they know or they wouldn't flaunt what they say so freely."

"Those who think they know everything don't often know much." Her younger brother was like that... He puffed up and acted like he knew everything there was to know about anything. He was an idiot.
(( I think my own muse is starting to wane. *blames work & school* ))

"Then I suppose it is a good thing that I do not pretend to know everything." He said with a true smile. She was quite wise. It was refreshing to have such a conversation, even though it was a bit of a strange one, it was a refreshing change of pace. "It is a shame that you are only visiting. It is very nice talking to someone with a mind that I do not see every day."

"It is." She managed a smile as she turned away from the stallion. "Perhaps I will visit again... For now, the night is still young and there is much to do in it. Until we meet again, Xantir... Should we meet again at all." Her smile faded into a smirk as she pawed at the ground before taking off into the darkness, flames flickering before they too faded.

"Until then." He replied quietly with a polite bow watching as she raced into the distance. It had been a pleasant evening but for now he would return to his home. With a flick of his short tail he turned back to the forest to find the trail back to his home again. One would think that he would know the way to his own home by now but it was a job that could take all night. At least he had some things to think about while he searched.
