What hero are you talking about? If its Harken, then he is extremely crappy. Raven is a much better Hero if you raise him, and its better if you get Karel instead of Harken anyways. If you don't know how to get Karel, you either open 4 doors before a certain turn if the boss is Jerme the assasin, or defeated the 3 promoted spellcasters if you have that Bishop guy as a boss (killing the promoted classes does not mean the boss, just the other 3). Then Karel will appear as a neutal party and not only is he a strong swordmaster, but his Wo Dao that he comes with gives him over a 60% of a critical.

I agree. Hell, I usually prefer Harken to Raven in normal mode, let alone hector hard. Besides, I usually spend all that experience and time I would take training Raven and train up Guy. Guy kicks so much a** XP

Oh yeah, and thanks Yosh for the Lloyd advice (originally I was planning to take him on with Hector's Swordreaver and Hector's silver lance, until I figured the Light Brand affects resistance instead). I think I used Nino and had Pent heal her, or something like that *shrug*

God, Nino is so good...w/out the tactician's bonus I had her max out in Mag around level 16 (well, Lucius maxed his out at like level 3-4, but his max mag is low anyway)

Oh yeah, and some questions about Hard Mode. Can you go from Lyn's hard mode to Hector's normal mode? Cause I wanted to go through Lyn's hard mode in the hope that I could get her, Kent, Wil and Lucius up to decent levels, but man...everyone in her hard mode is weak! Almost every enemy even up to the last chapter is level 1! Maybe that's what's hard about it...you can barely level up anyone -_-

...Another question for anyone out there...Wil or Rebecca? And Lowen or Kent? Actually both Lowen AND Kent pretty much suck, but I want to unlock Kent's supports. He's cool >_>

Hmm, yeah. But I really hate Lowen's personality/his huge hair. Maybe if I gave my tactician the fire affinity I'd go with him (and definitely Dart and Rebecca), but I chose anima this time. Soo, Eliwood, Canas, Farina, Kent and Oswin (who I all really like) should hopefully get some good stats.

And see, I usually ditch Rebecca because she's too hard to level up. Same goes for Dart, but this time through I'm gonna try pretty hard to level them up.

(And does anyone know if the characters in Lyn's hard mode are lower level than in her normal mode? 'Cause if that's the case, I should've just played through normal mode to get my characters to higher levels)

Yeah, I've got her up to level 7...that isn't bad. Still real weak, though, but what can you expect from an archer? =/

Oh yeah, and I'm pissed at something. In the last chapter of Lyn's story, I sent Kent up with his Heavy Spear against Ludgren. Ludgren (I think I'm spelling him wrong) had a 2% chance at a critical. I only needed to give him one last hit, so I said "what the hell...might as well". Kent misses, and Ludgren somehow gets his critical off. At first I was fuming, but then I realized that it was the last chapter, and I'd just get him back anyway.

Well, apparently, if anyone dies in Lyn's story, they do NOT retain their stats and level. My level 11 Kent dropped down to a 5...which is ridiculous. I pretty much wasted all of that experience. And knowing how weak Kent is, I doubt I'll be able to train him much in the arena without having Ninian in my party. Ugh! ><

Jeez. Lots of reading. Okay, I think that Raven is better than Harken no matter what difficulty it's on. The 4x thing is the "Brave" weapons. Brave ax, Brave sword, Brave lance. Lowen has a much better defense...but his attack sucks. And I'd choose wil over rebecca, because he can take more hits than her. Yes, she is hard to hit, but once she is, ooo...big trouble. I don't know what it is, but my favorite character in the entire game is Jaffar. I know that the theives can get stronger, but I like his personality. Not the one before Nino changed him. Afterwords.

I got Sain and Rebecca together and they actually did better than I thought.(I got Dart killed on the level I got him, I thought he was a throw-away character.) Sain's paladinness would protect Rebecca, while she got a critical hit bonus, and with the Killer bow, she pwned. I also like to see Sain's supports, they're all funny.
