Mike jumped as he heard his Pokenav ring. "Nina? Awesome!" He happily opened the Pokenav.
"Hello Nina! Long time to talkie! How have you been?"

Nina smiled. "Hey Mike! I'm doing great-- Cupcake just evolved and an egg that I've been carrying around has hatched!" Togepi trilled into the PokeNav. "How have you and Mitsu been?"

((I know! The only thing that is worse then Rattata's is when you are searching for a pokemon that is rare or hard to find and after hours of searching you find it and catch it and then when you are trying to leave you run into a bunch of those pokemon and your just like. "Great." stare ))

"Awesome! I'm glad to hear that your Pokemon are doing good. Me and Mitsu are doing great, we both beat Roxanne and just caught Grass Pokemon, She caught a Bulbasaur and I caught a Shroomish!" Mike was overjoyed that he could tell Nina this, he never liked to keep his accomplishments quiet.

Mike watched as Portabello fit in perfectly to his group of Pokemon. The group was playing hide and go seek, the small Grass Pokemon won everytime by hiding in a thicket of grass and blending in perfectly. The only Pokemon that wasn't thoroughly convinced of Portabello's friendship wasNitro, for he was still a bit annoyed that he let himself be beaten by his own stupidity. By losing to that Shroomish he seemed dishonored, like he failed fire types everywhere. Mike noticed how his Charmeleon was abnormally quiet and not playing with the rest of the Pokemon.
"Sure! I'm so glad you asked, I really missed you, and I'm sure Mitsu did as well. Of course you can come here!" Mike was estatic that he would get to see his friend Nina again. He looked over at Nitro again, who was staring off into space.

It was about an hour after Tony had fallen asleep when he felt something nudge against him. Tony groaned and tried to ignore it and go back to sleep but was nudged again only harder this time. Deciding to figure out who was waking him up Tony opened his eyes and yawned looking around him but he didn't see anything.
Suddenly a cute voice came from his side."Odd! Odd!"
Looking down Tony spotted the small creature that was trying to wake him up. "Wow it's an Oddish! Whats it doing here? I thought they were supposed to be affraid of people..."
 Wild Oddish appears. Level:5 Attacks: Absorb
The little Oddish looked up at him and smiled chearfully before saying "Oddish! Odd!" The leaves on top of his head were a bit on the brownside as if they weren't very healthy.

((Now onto part two! Yeah my little Oddish experience is that long!))
Suddenly an thought struck to Tony. "Hey, your that plat I watered earlier arn't you? Well you weren't really a plant. You arn't looking that good though. Here let me get something for you allright?" Tony set his egg down and reached over into his pack and rummaged through it before taking out his only potion. I'll need to get a new one when I get into town. Which will probably be tomarrow at the pace I'm going at! Potion out he picked up the little Oddish and carefully sprayed the potion on him.
The little Oddish cried out happily upon fealing the healing effects of the potion take effect on it."Oddish! Odd odd oddish!"
Upon finishing up the potion on the Oddish he set it down and picked the Oddish up and held him up in the air. "There you go! Hope you are feeling better!" He said chearfully a big smile on his face.
The pokemon seemed a bit overjoyed and cheared happily in his hands. Tony set the small pokemon down and smilled happily at him.
"Well I guess I should get going then you little weed. Take care of yourself now." He said to the oddish before grabbing his bag and picking his egg up and heeding back to the path.
"Odd odd!"
Tony looked back and spotted the little Oddish chasing after him. "Hello again little weed. You wanna come with me?"
The little pokemon cheared happily and jumped up and down in what Tony assumed to be a yes. "Odd odd!"
Staring down at the little pokemon in wonder, Tony shifted his egg into one hand and pulled out a pokeball and tossed it gently at the little Oddish who happily went into it. Reaching down and picking it up Tony stared at it before tossing it down again. "Come on out you little weed. Hey thats a good name, I'm gunna be calling you that allright? Come on Weed, we have a long way to go."
"The little Oddish appeared happily next to him and chased happily after his new trainer.
((Weed was the name of my first Oddish ever. I love that Pokemon to death.))

"Rustboro City, I'll come see you when the train arrives don't worry. I won't let you get lost." He said with a laugh.
Shiver hopped over to Nitro, nudging him and snapping him out of his day-dreamy state. "Cloy, Cloyster!" Shiver asked curiously.
"Char..." Nitro explained to Shiver how he had been beaten by such a small thing, the Cloyster countered with : "At least you weren't taken out first."
Both Pokemon laughed, almost forgetting about the battle.

Nina laughed a little. "Alright. I'll get on a train and I'll be seeing you soon!" With that, she hung up and put her PokeNav into her pocket. Nina and her Pokemon headed off to Cerulean's train station, flashed her ticket, and found a seat. A few minutes later, it departed.

"Ok!" Mike hung up the Pokenav and raced over to Nitro, giving him a big hug. "I haven't hugged you in a while little buddy, so I'm making up for lost time!"
Nitro let out a cry of happiness as all his problems were washed away, Mike always knew how to cheer him up. Nitro walked over to small grass Pokemon, who was sitting on Titanium's head. The Charmeleon took a long look at Portabello, still unsure if he could call this Pokemon a friend.
"Shroom!" Portabello hopped off of his perch and walked over to Nitro, looking him right in the eyes. The two locked stares for a moment, neither blinking.
"Shroomish!" Chirped Portabello. The small Pokemon shook his little body, releasing dark green spores. From a Shroomish, this was a sign of respect and acceptance.
"Char!" Nitro gladly accepted, he knelt down and pat him on the head, Portabello looked delighted.
