at my school, well lets just say both the band and cheerleaders are close to putting prices on the others heads. get us (the band) within 10 yards of them and all hell breaks loose. so yea, our band and cheerleaders don't mix. absolute chaos.

Hehe our band director finds it funny when we mess with the cheerleaders he even encouages it. We play Barbra Ann while they dance, our lead drummer who does quads and the drum set has gotten it down to cut time and like twice we did it like a forth of the time, less then half the waythough on the drum solo they're like painting and can't move.
Our band directors friends at the other school added one extra beat to the end of all they're songs to throw off the cheerleaders, we're thinking about doing it next year, and hey our lead drummer stole their quads music.

yeah, our band and cheerleaders DON'T mix, we can't stand them,and they can't stand us. All except a few people.

GETTING ALONG WITH THE CHEERLEADERS?
Don't make me laugh.
If we were ever to actually get along without calling each other "Band Geek" or "Skank" or whatever... the world would probably explode.
I have a friend whose a cheerleader, and even we don't get alone sometimes.

My BD tells us that we should cheer with the cheerleaders at the football games, and we do (Our band respects our BD.). We get pumped up by some the cheers because, well, they are fun to dance to. It's best when the cheerleaders are in front of us cheering, or dancing to our music, because it's easier for us to hear each other. At school, though, it's not that we all don't get along...we just don't talk to one another that often. Actually, we ignore each other a lot, in my opinion.

ok just gotta say this....we have like 4 cheerleaders in our band....and I only like 1...and almost all of our flag team cheers at the games.....and I don't like them either......I just don't like cheerleaders.....and I think our band is more spirited than the cheerleaders at our school anyway....^^

back in the day i dated a cheerleader. pretty hot too, lol. but she also was in the marching band for the flute, she hated the cheerleaders. band is way better anyway.

At football games, our band has this thing were we ask differnet people/sections how they feel. "Hey ______! How do you feel?!"
When it comes to the cheerleaders, we go, "Hey cheerleaders! ... Nevermind!"
It's kinda funny, cuz some of them do it anyway. Which shows how much they listen. =P

duuude. i cant stand my cheerleaders at our school. they always talk bad about the band and they're nothing but a bunch of skanks... but i guess im lowering myself to thier level right?

frozenshuriken well our only GIRL drummer is a cheerleader holy f*** thats weird our only girl persussionist is a cheerleader too. then there's two in clarinet. but that's it. all of our cheerleaders are really good. Oh then a whole bunch of cheerleaders are joining band next year so i have to teach trombones/baritones and I'll probably shoot myself sometime during that time because the cheerleaders who arent already in band are basically retarded

Resident_Kyo duuude. i cant stand my cheerleaders at our school. they always talk bad about the band and they're nothing but a bunch of skanks... but i guess im lowering myself to thier level right? i wouldnt say you're going to their level. if theyre a bunch of skanks and whores like a lot of our cheerleaders then there's no way you can go down to their level. everyone who isnt in band pretty much talks bad about the band but we get to talk bad about them cause bands the only class with only band ppl

Well at our school even tho its a middle school we just do marching in parades and we do all the practices and then on the day of the parades we have to play the songs over and over just so they can get the moves to match our songs but maybe thats just our band.

Nope they don't. Well, actually Drill Team doesn't mix. Once during a show they refused to get off the field while we were doing our routine, so we ran right over them and smashed their faces and beat 'em up with our instruments. rofl It was their fault because they were told multiple times to get the hell off....
