Cunty McCuntface alice from weirdland who doesn't know Vivienne Westwood? she was one of the founding creaters of punk and to a lesser extent goth and death rock no one knows who she is in my town which is weird because most of my friends are all "punked out".
they've never heard of malcolm mcclaren either. confused Actually, she wasnt, there were punks already, she just copied their clothes and made it fashionable. My mum used to be a punk, shes not a fan of Vivienne Westwood!

If lolita is carried further than hot topic I will jump of a building. I nearly jumped of a building when I looked at my reciept and saw that the pants I bought from there were called "lolita". mah, it's ll doomed anyway. we were the originals...or at least early followers.
and if i hear anyone else say Hair-a-kuku I swear I will kill someone.
Oh, and don't be threatened by this new Victorian wave comming through. Though it is uncomfortably simmilar to our lolita, touches have been made to make it look a lot more modern and American than lolita and kodona. ver good for buying and chopping up for the lace. Plus, 80% of people who wear it will have no nidea that it holds any resemblance to lolita or, for that matter, what lolita is.

alice from weirdland With all the appearences of Goth Lolita fashion in the last couple of weeks, do you really think that lolita fashion is doomed or do you think everyhting is going to work out and lolita will never see the light of day? Is there something WRONG with lolita seeing the light of day?

Is there something WRONG with lolita seeing the light of day? Apparently so, because you know... when lolita becomes big... I won't be "original" anymore! And because... I don't want to see "preps" wearing lolita! neutral stare

oooh. im new to this sort of thing as well, but i've been doing a bit of research on it and i discovered how gorgous a lolli' lifestyle was. There was a girl who dressed lolita'like at my school (although her 'maid-like' outfit wasn't allowed in school because it was too much of a costume. pfft. ). She was beautiful, but i don't know if she lived the life of a loli' though.
I doubt it'd be much of a huge fashion because of how expensive the dresses and such are.
Only the more creatively and talented people would probably be able to wear them, and honestly im not complaining if it's going to be like that. whee
people who make their own clothes < poor toddlers making other peoples clothing for less than a dollar per hour. 3nodding (hehe i typed more than i meant to. D: )

i don't think anyone should freak though.
if you genuinly love something enough, it doesn't matter what other people may make of it. Just think to yourself that it was a small community not too many people knew about, that you did at that time, and how much you and the others were dedicated to it. And still are. Don't let meanie-weanie fangirls/boys(?) ruin something you love.

Where I live I'm the only person in my middle school who would dress lolita, I was made fun of alot so I don't think Lolita is going to be a huge style here.

If Hilary Duff started to call her self Gothic Lolita I'd die or kill her.....I'd do the latter. If preps started to call themselves Gothic Lolitas or started dressing in poser Lolita I'd tell them what it really was or take them down a peg. Just like the girl who thought she was punk because she like Good Charlotte...

Cunty McCuntface Seraphynthetic purikura whore I doubt any celebrity will go out and say they're a lolita. Plus, parents are going to go against it since they'll think it has to do with *****. Yes, there is Gwen Stefani saying she loves Harajuku girls or whatever, but those girls look AWFUL and wear headresses diagonally across their head. And I've yet to see anyone so far do that or call themself a Harajuku girl. Eep. I knew a girl who called herself a Harajuku girl. She was all "I love lolita and when I listened to Gwen's CD I found out that Lolitas also call themseles Harakuku girls." And I had to explain to here what lolita was and that Harajuku was a place in Tokyo where people cosplayed on the weekends. Not just lolita, but ALL forms of cosplay take place in Harajuku. dude. i had to explain the EXACT SAME THING to my friend because she heard gwen's new album.
she was also talking about 'vivienne west'. i was like, "um, do you mean vivienne westWOOD, the famous designer? confused " XD Sad, but hilarious. I mean this is just a phase Gewn is going through. She'll hit it out with something else gorgeous and outrageous, but right now what Gwen wears is not Lolita. ...I wonder what would happen if Mana sat down and had a talk with her about Lolita...
