Monkuta twitched slightly. He was not expecting that. It was time for a different approach. "Ah, but you see, I do have permission!" He put his hands together with a loud 'CLAP!' noise. "I have an elven friend who said I could visit him any time I wanted." He nodded to himself. Monkuta... You are aware that I am the eldest dragon here. From what I see, these... dragon kin are of no threat to me. We could easily destroy the lot of them. Utasi crouched, all four legs now on the ground and his tail up and waving above the trees. Monkuta retreated, stroking Utasi's side. Now, now. Let's see where this goes. He took one his scimitars from the side pouch, re-buckled the belt they were attached to and moved forward again. "Besides, are not all dragon riders welcome in the land of the elves?" He folded his arms, smirking.

Kanji ambled through the forest, refamiliarising himself with it. He noticed a man held at sword point by a young elf lady. "Hey, hey. What is going on here?" Kanji asked trying to figure out why the small girl had her sword out.

((And then theres the other three elves right here. And according to lore, three elf kids can fight one human and win. Kinda unfair, but I don't really wanna mess with that.))

(the name of the elf is Lydia, not Artemis, Lydia's dragon is Artemis, and you're the only human because this is an elf city)
"No," Lydia said, "you're not a rider, if you were truly a rider, you wouldn't be landing here without the elves knowledge," Artemis nodded, "and you are a liar as well," she said in a deadly voice.

((I'm the only person who's made a human, I mean.))
Monkuta raised an eyebrow and chuckled. "Not a rider? Yes, of course! That would explain the dragon right beside me and the mark on my hand," he said sarcastically, smiling. "And I'm not lying. My dragon and I have flown many miles and we seek lodging with those like us. Other riders." He stepped forward, about a foot away from Lydia. This is going south. Be prepared. Always, Monkuta. Always. Utasi opened his mouth slightly wider.

Kanji Smiled. "I landed without elves knowing. But you should've heard because Yohan was very clumsy. Losing your touch. Pitiful." Kanji turned and scratched Yohan's underbelly.

Lydia glared, she didn't think this stranger was to be trusted, drawing her sword a few inches back, the white blade glinting in the half light. Her eyes narrowed suspiciously while Artemis growled, although she was still too young to do anything. Lydia instead, without taking her eyes off of the stranger, said to the new elf, "who are you? How come I haven't seen you while living in the forest? And what is the dragon's name?" He is a friend, Artemis said, I think he wasn't in Ellesmera when you were born, Lydia frowned, really? I can tell he doesn't mean ill, but it doesn't mean he can be trusted.

In a flash of swift movement, one of Monkuta's scimitars was out and forward. To the untrained eye, it would seem the exact distance from Lydia as her blade was from Monkuta. He heard he address the other elf, but he didn't care about him. "Do you wish to fight me, girl?" he asked calmly. None of his body movements seemed hostile, except for the hand tightly gripping his sword. Ready yourself, Utasi. As you said, elves are smart. At the request, Utasi raised his backside and crouched, his wings flattened hard against his back, barring his fangs and claws. Fire showed in small puffs from his nostrils. The giant eyes never left Artemis. "We have tried to be kind, milady. But you, in contrast to most elves I've heard of, have no pleasure for politeness. If it is combat you wish, combat you shall receive," Monkuta said, the calmness of his body was leaving now.

"Why must Riders fight? Isnt that what brought them down before..." serbrina said from the shadows. Her bow was sitting next to her and her golden dragon.

Monkuta rolled his eyes. "A good warrior never lets his guard down until the enemy does. And I am one of the best." He glanced over to Utasi. It seems we are not in as much danger as we presumed, Utasi responded. The giant black dragon calmed his stance, nudging Monkuta with one paw to do the same. Monkuta nodded a bit angrily, taking a less hostile stance, but keeping his blade out towards the elven girl.

"He. Isn't. A. Rider!" Lydia spat, glaring at them all, "He isn't bonded to his dragon for friendship, he is bonded to the dragon because of the endless crimes he commits, look at his palm," she said, "it shows that he has murdered many, and probably treated very few with kindness." She glowered at the elves and the Rider that wasn't, daring them to challenge her. Then she turned to Monkuta, "leave now and there will be no fight," she said. Although the dragon and his human had resumed a more relaxed position she didn't trust them, "tell me why you are here," she told them, "what do you want?"
