Shikoba tried to imagine what it would feel like to have something kicking you from the inside, and silently agreed that it would be weirder than feeling it from the outside.
He nodded and nudged Aish with his nose.
"Yeah, if you're tired, you really should be getting back. Do you know when they'll be born?"
He was curious again now. How long did it take for them to be born? Right now, it looked like they were ready to come out at any second. Would it happen tonight?

'My friend said that it varied. I dont think I'm quite big enough yet,' Aishwarya said as they turned and started back the way they had come.
'They'll be born when they are ready, I suppose that's the only way I can put it.' she smiled, nerves hitting her. She was going to be a mother! And it would hurt.
'My friend has a familiar, a little green fox. I'll have her come find you when it's time?' she suggested as they neared the outskirts of the Village.

Shikoba nodded, still taking it all in. And at the mention of the green fox, he tilted his head to the side a bit.
"You mean, the fox is her friend? I've never heard of something like that before."
It was a little strange, but maybe just to him, who had never made friends with another species before.
As they neared the village, he sighed and nuzzled Aish's nose with his. He was so happy that they were going to have a family together. True, they hadn't planned it, but it felt like the perfect time.

'I think many Soquili's have friends that are other species, they are called..familiars I believe.' Aishwarya replied in a thoughtful manner as the walked around the outskirts of the Village, towards Kaliska's teepee, and the shelter that had become Aishwarya's home for the time being.
She turned to face Shikoba.
'I might not see you again before the birth, I think moving around is going to become more awkward the larger I get..' she reached out and 'nose-kissed' Shikoba.
'So, if I don't..take care until then? And don't go spending time with any slender, non-pregnant mares.' Aish chuckled softly.

Shikoba nodded, and nudged Aish back. He was a little bit nervous. What would happen if something happened to her between now and then? At her last comment, he chuckled a bit, too.
"I would never think of it. You're far too beautiful and amazing to leave. Not to mention our beautiful children."
He smiled and looked into the village. From here, he could see Aish's hut. He turned his eyes back to her and smiled.
"Be careful, sweetheart. I'll be waiting for the notice that they have been born. I'll come as soon as I can."

Aishwarya smiled, pleased with the compliment;
'Well, you just take care of yourself, and I'll see you soon.' she nudged him once more and slowly walked off, her tail braid trailing behind her as she went.
