Your Gaia Name: Faolin Characters: Demyx & Sitar Your RP paragraph: In the shallows down shore, a unicorn and a wolf chase each other around the surf. Demyx startles at the sound of the merlok's cries, disrupting their play. He blinks dazedly through the bedraggled strands of his mane: once at the 'flailing fishy-guy'. once at the over-burdened feather dusters and once at the glint of sun shining off jeweled shells. There is a fleeting hesitancy, born of confusion, but no time to think. He does not know why it is so urgent that the shells be saved but that the heart-rending break in the frantic plea deems it so. Being all heart and no common sense, he is moved. Sitar's excited yips chase the lingering shadow of his tail as he takes off. Demyx splashes gracelessly to shore in a spectacular imitation of a waterlogged cat. His usual, natural grace in the water fails him. His right fore-hoof tangles in seaweed, displacing it rudely and slowing him down. He's just close enough that there is a chance he can stop them before the birds pick up enough speed to ascend. A length and a half away... Yes! No! The seaweed (justifiably vengeful and in an impressive show of good-timing) attaches itself to Demyx's remaining foreleg, sending him head over hooves into the sand. Legs stuck in the air like porcupine quills, Demyx watches the osprey fly overhead, laughing at him in that ear-splitting way that feather dusters always do. "That's it!" He shouts and twists over, digging his hooves into sand and flotsam and jetsam and kicks it all up into an arc behind him. A 'pinging' noise sounds and yellow ducks everywhere wince in empathy. The osprey falter: one with a clamshell to the beak, the other a very unfortunate periwinkle to the tail-end. The two precious bundles ricochet off of his belly and into the dunes with twin thuds, narrowly missing Sitar who bounds in unerringly late. "Like it?" Demyx raspberries his defeated foes in all kinds of breathy, knotty, sea weedy, sandy, indignant-crab-ear-ringed goodness. Sitar snickers at him and he pouts, somewhat deflated by the less than glorious commendation. His similarly less than pleased adversaries U-turn for a poorly aimed fly-by. Sitar snorts. Demyx snickers at the now very -white- wolf. Which kelpi shell do you want?: Wahoo

Your Gaia Name: Remove Characters: Osi Your RP paragraph: (exactly 500 - wanted to write more though!) Osi had been on her way for a nice drink when the sound of someone calling reached her ears. She snorted a little annoyed that someone was making so much noise but quickened her pace anyway. There was no harm in telling someone off for making so much noise now was there?
The view though that she got stopped her in her tracks. There was a strange creature appearing from the water, one that seemed not to have legs and then two ospreys flying in the sky above carrying what looked to be overly large shells. She wasn't going to waste her time with all of this so she went to the water and lowered her head to drink. The next thing she knew the strange water person had got her ears in his hand and was talking about something though whether it was that she didn't listen properly or that she couldn't understand she didn't know but she would never know what he was trying to say.
“Get off me!” She pulled back shaking her head and eventually he let go and instead pointed to the birds that she mimicked in colour. What was wrong with him? She stepped back a little and shook her head some more before opening her wings to follow the birds. Birds were much easier to understand then stupid water creatures.
She followed them for what seemed ages up to a high mountain. There wasn't room for her to land because of the way the rocks had formed a rather steep slope. She could see the birds though trying to open the shells and assumed it was them which the strange water guy wanted. She wasn't quite sure how to stop them after all the strange water man obviously wanted them back, otherwise why shout and wave his arms about?
The only way she could think of helping was to scare the birds though how she would then move the shells she hadn't a clue but once the birds were gone then maybe she could think of a way to move the shells.
Stretching her wings fully, she hovered above the birds cave, circling as if hunting and it had the effect she was looking for. The birds flew off though it seemed they weren't flying off they just wanted to attack her. She hadn't counted on that.
Moving lower to where the shells were, she moved as close as she could, getting at least three of her hooves on solid ground, one though kept slipping. She wouldn't be able to stand there for long. Carefully she used her wings to move the shells, wriggling about until she had one on her back, she then moved away flying carefully back to where the lake was. She didn't land to drop the shell she just twisted in the air and the shell slipped from her back and only just made it into the water, she then went and did the same with the other shell.
Which kelpi shell do you want?: Wahoo

Your Gaia Name: Kamiki Characters: Stormwild Your RP paragraph: Stormwild rarely left her mountain sanctuary, but curiosity had finally gotten the better of her. Rumors had been pouring in all over the soquili lands about their new friends from the ocean and she had finally decided it was about time to introduce herself. She was walking along the beach, already remembering why she didn't like the place: the sand felt weird and unsteady under her hooves, and the spray of the ocean made her incredibly long mane sticky and tangled.
A sudden screaming broke her from her thoughts as her attention was drawn to a man that was ... half fish. Stormwild was a very old mare, and she had seen her share of crazy things, but this had to have topped the cake. Her mouth hung open as she stopped dead in her tracks. She openly stared for several moments until her brain finally processed what he was screaming about.
She begrudgingly pulled her attention off the man and looked up into the sky where he was flailing and pointing. Those were definitely no normal clamshells the ospreys were toting. She had seen a few of them around her lands before, and she quickly had to take action. She broke off into a full speed run, the sand billowing up around her dramatically and she gained speed on the birds. She gained distance, then when she was only a couple of yard away, she launched herself into the sky, her powerful muscles straining under the force of the jump in the soft, wet sand. Once airborne, she unfolded her wings, catching the steady ocean breeze between her feathers and soaring upwards above the escaping birds. This would be tricky; she couldn't just attack the ospreys for if they dropped the shells they could shatter from the fall. And why it would be easy for her to overpower one of the birds, she had no way to grab both shells...she had one mouth and no hooves. So if she just grabbed one shell, but the time she got it to safety, the other bird would be long gone. Quickly, she made her plan. She began to fly wide circles above them, not unlike a buzzard, flying around them in ever-tighter circles, forcing them closer together and lower to the ground with each pass. She tucked her legs under her, using only her wings when needed to bat and herd the birds in their escape. She knew eventually the birds would realize this prey was not worth the effort, drop the shells at a safer distance, then escape. Without the burden of the shells, an osprey would have no problem out flying a soquili. Which kelpi shell do you want?: I would be equilly happy with either of them, they're both so pretty! But if I must specify, the Mahi Mahi please.

Your Gaia Name: Meepfur Characters: Atikala AdityaYour RP paragraph: Atikala Aditya was not terribly fond of the beach; she was, in fact, quite leery of it. She preferred water in lakes and ponds and rivers, where she could see across to the other side and the water didn't fight to come up onto the land...well, unless it rained and flooded. That she certainly didn't like. Rain-swollen rivers aside, the ocean was absolutely the worst place for water to be. The sudden yelling from that direction startled her, setting her muscles twitching in unease, and she would have run but for the want to be brave for once in her life. And so she set off at a slow trot, pausing when her hooves hit the soft sand of the beach. It was the strangest thing she had ever seen! Who was that man-thing in the water, and why was he so worried about a couple of shells? Of course, they were pretty...maybe if she helped him, she could have one, and then everyone would know that she could be brave too! Suppressing a fearful shudder, she charged out onto the beach; only after she was well on her way did she realize she had no idea how to catch a bird! At first she tried to jump, to rear, anything to get herself up high, but she couldn't reach high enough - not fair! Something brittle crunched beneath her feet then, stopping her. Shells! With nothing else presenting itself, she lipped at the largest one until she got hold of it, then returned to the chase. Once close, she reared, throwing her head wildly and letting fly the pathetic projectile with little to no aim. Which kelpi shell do you want?: Wahoo

Your Gaia Name: Meeki Characters: MeeraYour RP paragraph: Meera had come to the beach to relax but that seemed to quickly fade when she heard a panicked sound come from a strange human nearby. It seemed that a couple large birds had taken off with his shells. Those weren't normal shells though, were they? Hadn't she seen a baby creature come out of a similar shell a few days ago? The danger of the situation became apparent. If those shells fell.. or if they became damaged in any way.. those poor babies would surely die. Instinct took over and Meera found herself flying after the seahawks. They were magnificent creatures and she let her gaze run admiringly over their wings. They were so elegant as they flew despite the shells making them a little clumsy and awkward. It as easy to catch up to the birds because the weight of the shells slowed them down significantly. "Friends, please hear me out," she started as she neared them, "Those are not normal shells. There are babies within them. They are probably very scared right now. Please have heart and return them? I will help you find shells if you'd like or show you a wonderful stream with the most delicious fish." The young mare often made a good impression because of her soft voice and sweet demeanor. She also had an innocent and trusting faith in other creatures. Hadn't she even softened up her father momentarily? She truly believed with all her heart that the ospreys would return the shells after learning the situation, and perhaps even take her up on her offer. Not every creature acts with bad intentions. You catch more bees with honey than with vinegar, after all, wasn't that what Glamrock had told her? The most important thing was to make sure the ospreys did not feel threatened. For now, she was the only hope those babies had in getting returned safely. Panicking the birds would only make things worse. Which kelpi shell do you want?: Wahoo

Your Gaia Name: Sabin Duvert Characters: BrigitteYour RP paragraph: Brigitte seldom gave thought to her where she was going or why she was going there. She knew in her bones that she was important, and there must be a greater reason for everything she did, regardless of if she was privy to that reasonings or not. And if something happened to get in her way, wherever that "way" might be, then woe unto them.
Today, the “powers” had guided her far from the gravesite that she normally felt at home; the place where her thoughts seemed less tangled and jumbled about in her skull. But who was she to argue. Foot by foot, she padded across the sandy beach, mumbling to herself in tones that only the mad could possibly construe as words.
However, as she waked, and the sand began to become distinctively more crinkly, and then crunchy and Brigitte’s thoughts began to clarify as if smoke had been blown out of her ear-sockets. While perhaps not a conventional gravesite, the yard of discarded and cracked clam shells had been the site of death, and the final resting place of many mollusks.
Shouting from some person-thing in the waters drew her attention, but before her ire was riled by his distraction, the pointing upwards kindled her curiosity.
She craned her neck at the noise, staring unblinkingly towards the Ospreys. "Birdy birds. Why yoo fly so high wit dem sparkly sparklies?" Her burning orbs fixated on the birds soaring above her, so free, except for the large, colorful shells gripped in their talons.
Her eyes then drifted back downward, at the expanse of broken shells that crunched under her feet. “Why… dem birdy birds be taken away the bones from this here graveyard…” And a seething anger began to build in the mare’s core, her shadowy “skin” began to roll and quiver and she could feel it echoing her fury with its silent cries. Something needed to be done, and she knew that it was her responsibility.
The physical problems of the airborne birds and Brigitte’s own, rather-land bound status never entered her mind. They were stealing from this grave site, as she saw it. And they had to be stopped.
Fortunately, the weight of the shells was at least preventing the birds from getting too high off the ground. With an unearthly bellow, Brigitte wrapped all of her fury into a vile, obscene shout at the two avians. Her whithers trembled and the shadows rolled over her, ghostly mouths chiming in with her hatred. Brigitte saw herself as a vessel, releasing the fury of the dead to reclaim their own. However, to two burdened avians, unfettered escape from whatever “predator” could cause such a ruckus might be prized over a meal that would require time and effort to crack into. Which kelpi shell do you want?: I LOVE both of them and would be perfectly happy with either. But, if I have to pick, Probably the Wahoo shell.

Your Gaia Name: Nisshou Hakuyaiba Characters: Ayden ((for a twist)) Your RP paragraph: The skies were blue, the birds were singing and the ocean was shouting. The two-toned spotty stallion paused mid-stride and turned to the great waters. That was strange. Oceans couldn’t shout. He turned about and cantered down to the ocean very pleased that he had mastered the gait. Reaching the ocean he saw the strange no-legger he had encountered once before shouting at a pair of birds. Looking at them more closely he could see they were holding rather large gems that seemed to be holding the shell shut. “Don’t worry!” He said to the merboy, “I’ll get rid of em.”
He rounded on the birds but kept a safe distance in case the turned and attacked him next. It wasn’t as though he was defenseless against a couple of flyers it was just he didn’t want to hurt them. If he felt violence could solve anything he would already be kicking at them trying to crush their skulls in. Now, how did you get a bird to lay off without hurting it?
He could feed them? They looked like they’d be meat eaters with those sharp talons and beaks but he wasn’t about to sacrifice another creature. He could try and tempt them into a game but it didn’t seem like it would be effective, they were pretty occupied by those shiny jewels. That was it! Birds liked shiny things! He should have thought of it sooner after all Dark was always going out and collecting gold and other glittery things and he was just like a giant bird with those wings.
With a fresh plan he searched the beach with his eyes for anything that sparkled more then the jewels. He grinned when he found it. With a purposeful stride he marched out to the great water and submerged himself in it. He stood up and whinnied loudly to catch the birds attention then shook himself off send droplets of water everywhere the far outshone the gems in the sunlight.Which kelpi shell do you want?: I like the Mahi-mahi the best

Your Gaia Name: Ary Keeyara Characters: Riley Ta'rish'e and Shantanu Your RP paragraph: Riley had lingered along the beach for a few days. It was probably because racing along the dry sand was a familiar feeling that reminded her of home. She always got absorbed in the practice, loving the feel of thundering, neck breaking motion across shifting sands. Perhaps that was why she had missed the commotion at first. When her companion, Shantanu, swooped down to fly just above her head, “Miss Riley, I do believe we’ve got a problem.”
The female unicorn slammed her hooves forward, skidding to a jerking halt. Sand splashed everywhere, bringing a temporary mist of dust. Riley shook her head, coughing momentarily before peering narrow-eyed around them. “What are you talking abou-“ she grumbled to the avian, though within an instant she had cut herself short, her eyes widening at the sight before them. Two ospreys carrying shells and…was that a cry for help she heard?
“Damn!” Just as quickly as she had stopped she was off again, leaving poor hovering Tanu dazed and confused. “Wait Miss let me-!” Tanu called, but was unheard by the stubborn equine. Riley would do this herself. Or at least she’d try. She raced after them, muscles surging to keep her light frame going. Whoever assumed unicorns were graceful were wrong, or at least in this case. She stumbled over muddy slopes, slashed through pools of forgotten sea water, and tore through helpless clumps of salt-resistant reeds. Keeping pace with the fleeing ospreys was not the problem; it was reaching them. Coming to a point where the land slanted lightly she made a rash jump. She still didn’t reach the criminals and instead crashed into a large shrubby area, bringing her progress to a dead stop.
Startled by the intrusion, sea birds scattered from their nests among the undergrowth. They took off in a panicked, wheeling flock, dashing out to sea right past the predators. What Osprey in their right mind would choose a hard to crack shell verses a plump, helpless seabird? Riley was an accidental genius, of sorts. Shantanu, seeing that her friend was a little scattered at the moment, swooped in upon either osprey that should refuse the bait. He large size was enough to startle any avian that did not match it.
“Ak! Stupid brambles, what the hell!” Riley cursed, as she finally managed to untangle herself from the brush. Her mane and tail was littered with twigs and by the twisted look on her muzzle she was quite irritated. But her ears flicked dually forward at the sight of two shells, looking a little shaken, a few feet away. Shantanu sat perched on one, and with a wave of her wing praised, “You did it, Miss Riley! They’re both safe.”
Riley let out a puff of pride through her nose, lifting her head high despite her bedraggled appearance. “Of course I did!” She said with a wide, confident grin. Shantanu didn’t have the heart to tell her charismatic friend otherwise. Which kelpi shell do you want?: Both are wonderful and I wouldn't mind either. <3 My first choice would be Wahoo though.

Your Gaia Name: Death Ressurected Characters: Pandora Your RP paragraph: The white female's ears flickered as she heard the call of another a flash of passion flew through them. She lingered to the beach to see a being flaling his arms. Idiot. She noticed the shells that were in the air with the ospreys. Her tail swayed back and fourth as she sauntered forward, cold and deadly unikalona eyes focused on the screaming one whom she had deamed idiot. She wondered why he wanted them, perhaps she would get something out of it but she was curious to why they were wanted.
...not that she cared to help.
She launched into the air and pierced one of the osprey's chest. She smirked grimly. Its limp claws let loosed of the clam and she flew under it letting it lay upon her back. Damn, it was heavy. The other osprey had settled on the beach pecking at the shiny jewel. As she landed she walked over to it. She gazed at it with those cold, hungry eyes as she licked at her fangs. It got the birds attention...A loud snarl echoed through the beach and it flew away as quickly as possible.
She walked closer to the cracked jewel, shell. Almost ruined until she took her unicorn horn and touched the jewel. The crack sealing as it once was. She smiled darkly as she lifted her head. She looked to Idiot and tilted her head. "What now?" Which kelpi shell do you want?: Wahoo

Your Gaia Name: DarkHeartedSorrows Characters: Arsenic Your RP paragraph: Arsenic had somehow found himself near the beach. The sound of the crashing waves had called to him this day for some reason. Fate? Perhaps. More likely it was just a lovely sound. In any case, he was walking slowly through the sand, loving the way it displaced under his weight and he seemed to sink.
Out of nowhere a loud voice violated his senses. Arsenic blinked his icey eyes and looked up, confused. There, sitting on the beach not too far from him, was creature much like he twoleggers he saw all the time... but his creature lacked two legs. He had the lower half of a fish... How peculiar. And what on earth could he be shouting about?
Then Arsenic noticed that his shouting was panicked. That certainly wasn't normal. Being kind and well-mannared Arsenic trotted over to him. He could not understand a word this creature was saying, he talked much like the twoleggers, but it was obviously upset about something in the sky. As quick as he looked up Arsenic noticed the two shells in the Ospreys' grasp. "Oh my!" He whinnied. Those shell's had the same jewel foal baskets did! Those Ospreys would surely try to eat whatever was inside those poor shells!
Arsenic galloped after the birds, stomping his hooves down as hard as he could and making as much vocal noise possible with his soft voice. Hopefully the birds would be startled and drop the shells in the soft sand, so nothing was hurt, and fly away. Then Arsenic could return what belongs to this fish-legger and perhaps find out what is in the shells and where they came from. There was sure to be an interesting story resulted from this event. Maybe it had been fate that brought him here all along.Which kelpi shell do you want?: Mahi-Mahi

Your Gaia Name: Paramekia Darkheart Characters: Yei Umeko & Grencia Your RP paragraph: Her mate hadn't quite believed her when she had updated him on the current state of affairs. For the past few days he had been away, scouting the lands off to the north in search of something he hadn't deemed necessary to speak of at this moment in time. However, upon his return he had been just a little put out at the danger that a certain fiery female might have been up against - had anything happened to her he would never forgive himself.
Nevertheless, as the pair now roamed the beach and the mare (Yei) continued to describe the invasion from the sea, the wind stallion took each little piece of information into account. According to Yei they had found peace between the nations but as usual, the mare was wary and uncertain as to whether or not she could completely trust them. Sometimes she could be just a little too cautious but most of the time she had her priorities right!
All in all, upon finishing her explanation the pair then walked in silence for a time. Content to be within each others company there was no discomfort in this quiet period. It was true that they said words didn't always need to be spoken between lovers and given the changes and the events that had occurred in recent months both could testify to this.
Unfortunately, such silence was soon broken by the shrieks of a voice that the mare found oddly familiar. It only took her another few seconds to recall that this voice was the same as the one who had spoken directly into her mind before and she tensed. Well it hadn't been in her mind this time but still - why was it so scared? Hadn't there been -
"Yei," her mate cut through her thoughts like a knife to butter, his pace already quickening as he drew himself up the sand dune and fixed his gaze upon the sight ahead. He hadn't quite believed her when she spoke of fish-humans but now that he could see it with his own eyes he wasn't entirely sure of how to take it.
"Hm?" Joining him on the hill side she glanced down on the yet again beached Merlock and released a small sigh. It seemed like most two leggers he would never learn but at least he was trying to cry for help right?
Wrong.
Apparently this cry for help didn't extend towards his well being and rather, it extended towards two rather big shells on the shore. Nearby were a pair of Ospreys and both looked rather determined (even from this distance). No, this time he wasn't crying for himself but more so for aid...those shells were obviously something very important to him.
"They're almost the same size as baskets," the stallion observed none to subtly, unaware of how close his observation was until the mare beside him gave a start.
"Oh my word!" She gasped, tensing up her muscles in preparation to bolt, "If those are babies those birds will eat them!" She squealed, not out of excitement but more so out of horror. Ever the maternal one, regardless of the species...Yei would always be inclined to protect a child until they proved themselves to be out of her reach. Recently she'd had difficulties conceiving and thus she had chosen to place all her energy into extending her affection to any child she met...just because she wanted to share it with someone.
"More than likely," Grencia agreed, arching a brow as she became a wreck at his side...Wasn't this usually the period in which she ran head long into them and smashed everything to a bloody pulp before realising her mistakes?
"DO SOMETHING!" She shrieked, staring at her mate wide eyed as he looked even more startled than he thought was possible. "I can't run at them, if I don't stop in time I might hurt them...shells are fragile," she whined in much the same fashion as a child before spinning in a circle and giving a rear. "Fly at them, tackle them...do something!"
"They're just birds..."
"Big birds!" Yei snapped, her gaze hardening at the Phoenix stallion who raised his eyes heavenwards in response, "Sic' em!" She ordered, her tone clearly not one to be argued with as she pointed her nose back in the direction of her targets. Really, if those little shells were like baskets then she wasn't about to let them get devoured!
"Yes dear," releasing a sigh the stallion dropped down from the dune at a slow lope and moved towards the birds of prey. Choosing only to quicken his pace as he drew nearer it was his sole intention to launch himself into the air in the form of a tackle - the only difference was that he would remain in the air with the aid of his wings. Perhaps, if he was fast enough he would not only force the birds to scatter but would also generate enough wings from his own wings to push them aside.
...Time would only tell.
Thus, quickening his pace he unfurled his wings and braced himself. Leaping into the air he thrust himself forward like a bullet towards his prey and left the rest to fate. Although he did have a feeling that if he missed his mate would butcher him during the night which wasn't the nicest image to enter his head! Which kelpi shell do you want?: Mahi Mahi~!

Your Gaia Name: Wolfie Duke Characters: Rocky-Lynn Your RP paragraph: Rocky stared up at the osprey as it flew over her head. He held something rather large with a shiny. Shiny! She jumped for joy. It seemed as if the birds were playing catch. “Me! Me!” She called to the bird as she danced around the waters edge. “Pick me!” She wanted to play too. The bird just looked at her confused. Perhaps he doesn’t speak Soquili? She pondered. She began to bleat in a high piercing tone much like that of the bird. Its eyes went twitchy and she continued her racket. His companion began to veer off to one side deeper over the waters, his flight irregular, almost as if distracted by her calls. Perhaps she said something wrong in osprey? Oh dear, inter-animal conversations could be so difficult! Rocky struggled to keep her footing as bounced down the coast-side after the bird, who no longer was watching where he was going, but her. She made her way around the rocky coastline. The osprey began to get closer to the rocks, tiring, flying lower under the weight of the shell. “Pass it to me!” She shouted at him again. She wanted to catch the shiny so badly it hurt. Her competitive playful nature taking over her common sense, Rocky jumped and bumped the bird from beneath.” It screeched in shock and wobbled in flight. She closed her eyes and prayed that he dropped the shiny and she could catch it just this once. She was never good at these kinds of games and wished only to win for once. Your Gaia Name: dragonfire_kaen Characters: Atsila [Indian persona] Your RP paragraph:
Thwack.
The stone whizzed through the air and struck a tree, squarely in the center of the trunk. It was not, unfortunately, the one Atsila had been aiming at. Or even the one next to it.
“This is ridiculous!” Growling with frustration, Atsila hurled another of her stones at the offending tree. She was tempted to throw the cursed sling after it, too. But she’d been all day and half a spare shirt making that. A sling is a useful thing to have, that man had said, expertly whirling it around his head to crack against a tree a good fifty paces away. It had looked so easy. Hah! But she’d learn to do it - even if it took her a hundred years.
But she wasn’t getting anywhere now. “Maybe I’ll go back to the teepee. Find some more stones. Get something to eat. Make a better stinking sling.” Muttering to herself, she crashed through the underbrush in the direction she’d taken. At least, she thought she’d come that way…
“This is ridiculous!” Atsila hollered for the second time that day. “Not only am I a total klutz with a sling, I can’t even manage a short walk home without getting lost!” Carefree birdsong filtered through the trees, mocking her failure. She wanted to scream. Then she heard something. It sounded like someone shouting.
“HELP! HELP!! SOMEONE HELP ME!!”
Bad day forgotten, she ran full speed toward the noise. It seemed that someone was having an even worse day than hers.
Atsila burst out of the trees and found herself nearly blinded by the flash of sunlight on the ocean. She’d gone completely the wrong direction! But none of that mattered now; through the frantically flapping wings of two huge ospreys, she could see a boy in the shallows, and… something shiny. Were they attacking him? No, there were two shiny things, and the ospreys – kelpi shells! She had to do something. With the way they were tugging at the shells’ gems, they were going to crack, sending the weak foals tumbling into the water. She couldn’t make it there in time. Atsila looked around frantically. Aside from the ospreys and the boy, the beach was empty. There’s no one else. She put a stone in her sling with trembling fingers. Her pouch was already half empty from practicing; she’d have to make every shot count. She let loose a piercing whistle, and released.
It splashed into the water several yards off. Come on, come on. There’s no one else – this has to work! The next three stones missed too, one nearly clipping the boy. Fingers felt in her pouch. She had only two stones left. This has to work! Release.
Thwack.
Which kelpi shell do you want?: The Mahi-Mahi, by a very slim margin. They're both stunning.

Your Gaia Name: Lady in the Golden Wood Characters:Sarasa ((Me. XD)) Your RP paragraph: The sky was a crystal blue, the sun was shining, and the leaves were just turning gold. A cool breeze blew in to the face of a young girl of around thirteen, her long black hair dancing behind her. Her name was Sarasa. Sarasa was muttering about the mystery message the day before and blaming herself why she had been so thickheaded and not even managing to find just one clue, when she suddenly heard a cry for help.
"Is that my imagination?" Sarasa asked herself. She heard it again, this time louder than the last time. She looked around from the direction of the noise; it was coming from the ocean.
"Who can it be?" She asked herself as she ran towards the ocean. Slowly, it can into view, showing all its majesty and the crashing of powerful waves upon the rocky shore. Then she saw a man, no not a man, he was a half man half shark, he was Ajadi. Sarasa was just opening her mouth to ask what was wrong when it was clear that Ajadi wasn't drowning, when she saw two enormous ospreys high above her, burdened with the weight of the big clams that they held in their claws.
"What should I do?" Sarasa thought panicking. That was when she noticed the many large round shaped pebbles strewn across the beach. She hurriedly picked one up, nearly dropping it in the process. She took aim and threw it at one of the ospreys. It hit directly onto the osprey's chest, the osprey dropped the sparkling shell. Sarasa gasped, she'd almost forgotten about the clam. She rushed towards it, only managing to catch it with her fingertips. The clam was a misty gray with white stripes on it.
"Whew! That was close," She said to herself. She carefully placed the shell onto the ground and picked up another pebble. Sarasa took aim again and threw it hard at the other osprey. The osprey cried out in alarm and swerved to dodge the flying pebble. Sarasa immediately picked up another pebble and threw it at the osprey, but this time aiming at its claws. The pebble hit the osprey, not hard enough to break the osprey's legs, but just enough to make it drop the shell it held. Sarasa was ready this time when the clam came soaring down towards earth and ran towards it and caught it. This time the shell she held was dark blue and lime green with pale blue spots on it. She gently picked up the gray shell from the ground and started to make her way back towards Ajadi.
"Here. They're safe," She said smiling as she handed the two glittering shells back to Ajadi. Which kelpi shell do you want?: Mahi-Mahi <3

Your Gaia Name: Mamoru_Hatake Characters: Spotty Paws Your RP paragraph:
After all the recent events involving the Kepli and Mer, Spotty decided to make a trip to the beach. He hadn't been there much before and found it much more interesting now. Unexpected circumstances made him miss the two events, and his chance to meet the Mer and Kelpi. This left the stallion curious about the Soquili that live in the water. So Spotty trotted along the warm sand, hoping to spot one of the water-dwellers.
Out of nowhere Spotty suddenly felt a strong gust of wind blow past him and heard screaming from down near the water. Looking over head Spotty could see two large ospreys carrying what looked like giant shells. Sensing danger, the colorful stallion ran to where the yelling was coming from. Down by the water there was a strange boy; one who looked different than the two-leggers he had seen before. "He must be the prince Ajadi I heard about..." Spotty pieced together as he edged near the boy.
Spotty listened patiently as Ajadi explained what happened. To Spotty's suprise, the shells actually contained baby kelpies! And if there was one thing Spotty couldn't stand, it was when others picked on little foals and fillys. "Those birds should pick on someone their own size! Or someone who is at least a little closer to their size!" Spotty yelled as he ran away from Ajadi, moving so quickly he became a mere blur of rainbow colors.
The stallion finally met up with and ran under the flying ospreys. He still had absolutly no idea how he was going to stop the birds, and from the ground no less! "Curse this wing-less body!" he said a little too loud. Before he knew it, the giant birds had spotted him and seemed to be unable to look away. His brain soon clicked into action and Spotty got an idea. The colors on his body were quite bright and somewhat obnoxious, Spotty was willing to accept that. Maybe, just maybe, they could lure the ospreys from the shells. If the birds went after Spotty, then atleast the shells would be safe. Perhaps the osprey would drop and forget about shells and focus their attention on him.
Gulp.
