Marshall stomach dropped. Doctors?! HOW COULD HE FORGET THE DOCTORS?! Okay, okay, don't panic...Don hadn't done it either. Its alright. But at least Don remembered! Oh lord...How could I have not thought of that? What if Kale got sick!? Marshall thought, obviously being too hard on himself. "If you get a name, you mind passing it on?"
"Oh..." Kale's smile faltered, before he saw the large inflatable beach ball, "Oh! I know! Lets play with the ball!" Kale exclaimed much more happily. Every one could play with a beach-ball!

Don chuckled, "Sure not a problem." He looked at the boys in the pool and then back to Marshall. "Hey Marshall, ya wanna go for a swim with the kids?" He asked figuring why not, it would be fun.
Tanner nodded, "Kay." He said then paddled over to the beach ball to retreive it and send it floating over to Kale. Tanner wasn't the best at throwing the ball but he tried, which meant for something.

"Heh heh, sure, if you don't mind lending me a pair of trunks." Marshall chuckled. Hey, it was an excuse to play with Kale: Why type of parent would he be if her turned down the offer?
Kale giggled, throwing the ball back at Tanner.

"Sure no problem. Mind watching the kids for a bit while I go change into mine and bring a pair for you?" Don said getting up from his seat.
Tanner smiled and tossed the ball back towards Kale. When you're a child it's fairly easy to amuse yourself with something so simple.

"Sure, no problem." Marshall said to Don, giving him a small nod before looking back at his son and his new friend.
"'Kay! Here comes my Special Move! AWESOME THROW!" Marshall shouted, bopping the ball over to Tanner. Really, it was only a "special move" because Awesome Man had about two hundred special moves.

Don headed back into the house with a small laugh at seeing the boys before he closed the door behind him.
Tanner fumbled the ball and it slipped out of his pudgy little hands. He started to paddle to the other side of the pool where it had slid and then threw it back towards Kale.
When Don returned he was wearing a dark purple, speedo, and in his hand he held a green speedo for Marshall. He walked over to the other man and handed it out to him. "Here ya go, the bathroom is in the hall first door to the left." He said with a smile.

Marshall took the small swim suit, staring at it with a perplexed look on his face. What...Was this? A speedo?! Marshall stared at the green thing, "Um...Uhhhh, I'll be right back..." Marshall said, leaving before he could say any thing else. HIGH SCHOOL GYM CLASS ALL OVER AGAIN! GYM CLASS! Marshall said, remembering the fact that he is perhaps the only person on Gaia with out a six-pack.
"Heya Mr. Tanner's Dad!" Kale said, catching the ball from Tanner, "Is my dad gonna come with us too?"

"Yup, he sure is Kale." Don said to the boy with a smile as he came over to the pool jumping in and doing a cannon ball. "Hey Kale, why don't you pass the ball over here?" He said with a laugh as he resurfaced after getting both of the boys splashed.
Tanner watched as his dad got into the pool and smiled again, Kale, and his daddy were going to play with him. In his mind that was just about as fun as you could get.

Marshall stood in the bath-room, staring at the green...thing that was supposedly some sort of bathing suit. Flashbacks to high school haunted Marshall. He had the physique of...Well, he didn't, really. He was just flat-out scrawny. It didn't hurt that Don was one of those freaks with a six-pack and stuff. "...Goddamnit." he grumbled.
"'Kay!" Kale responded, throwing the ball over to Tanner's father.

"Nice throw Kale." Don said encouragingly, "Here it comes Tanner." Don said as he skimmed the ball across the water to Tanner.
Tanner caught the ball still smiling then passed it onto Kale again.

Marshall came out, looking about. Okay, it was just Tanner, Kale, and Don. No one could possibly see him in such a...revealing outfit. "Hows the water?" he called out to no one in particular as he lowered himself into the pool.
"Dad, catch!" Kale said, bopping it over to Marshall.
"Alrighty!" Marshall said, spiking the ball over to Don.

"Lookin sharp Marshall!" Don said catching the ball with a good humored laugh and tossing it to one of the boys with not nearly as much force as Marshall had used, although he thought breifly just how much fun they actually might be able to have with a game of water volley ball when the boys got older.
Tanner seemed to be having plenty of fun, smiling and giggling a lot, the boy seemed to be getting more comfortable around Kale and Marshall.

IF THAT WAS SARCASM I SWEAR TO GOD I'LL KILL YOU DEAD! Marshall thought behind a light chuckle. He realized, however, that he was clearly being overly self-conscious. Even still, he would have to remember to never, EVER, borrow clothes from Don again.
"Over here! Over here!" Kale said, flailing his arms around to get Don's attention.

"Heh heh, well, its a lot more refreshing than the beach I gotta say!" Marshall laughed, starting to relax a lot more. It wasn't like they were at the beach or in a shopping center: What happened in the back yard stayed in the back yard.
"Heads up Tanner!" Kale said, throwing the ball at his pudgy bull friend.
