Especially in war. Although you can also factor in land gained, and materials destroyed. There has never been a war won simply because one side was morally rightous, until they went in and smashed the unrighteous guys head in.
Wow...you play too much Risk.....gone are the days of the chess master generals. You would only be right if modern military action were simply about traditional conquest and occupation. National identity is quickly becoming an outdated idea. Unless you qualify as a top 1% mover and shaker, you have just as much to lose by global instability as the next guy, no matter what country's flag is on your passport. And global instability is all a body count will get you. Great for Halle-Burton.....bad for you.
