"There's no turning back now Kilelo." Kabili told her pretending to be menacing, as if he would get her in lots of his long complicated schemes. He might it just depended on her and how far she wanted to get into their 'friendship'. The truth was he was glad she was willing to be his friend even it might start problems for her with his mischievous actions and behavior.

She accepted him, for the most part and she saw the real him. Not the him that played innocent, harmless Kabili in front of his parents and siblings. So he trusted her, he was pretty sure she didn't know his parents but there was always the chance that she did, even so if she told on him he'd get her. He'd get her real good. But she had nothing to worry about, right?

His smile instantly vanished by the time she was almost finished speaking. Her brother killed her mother? That was the worst thing anyone could ever do, to kill the person that gave you life. He swallowed running his tongue over his sharp teeth. "To kill the person that gave you life it the worst thing anyone could ever do no matter what the reasons."

The cub would play mean little pranks on his sister but he would never harm them, let alone kill them, and the same went for his parents. Especially his mother, he would never do anything like that, he would never even consider it. And the fact that a son killed his own mother boiled his blood.

He furrowed his brow with anger and narrowed his eyes. Without thinking his claws extended and dug deep into the ground. "Those actions are not something that can be forgiven. Ever." It wasn't even something that related to him but it just boiled his blood and made him angry, which was difficult for the cub. "If you ever want help looking for him just let me know."

At that moment it was almost as if Kabili wasn't a cub but older than that, much older than he was.

Kilelo smirked at his words. No turning back huh? Somehow, she didn't feel very threatened, just highly amused. This was a fun little cub she'd stumbled upon, and she was glad for it. Maybe, instead of wandering around the pride lands aimlessly on her own, she'd have someone to go visit. It was a promising aspect. Her smile quickly faded though as the white cub spoke. her face was suddenly grim and serious,

"I know, Bili, I know. I won't forgive him. For taking her from me, for leaving me like this."

A lot of her problems, Kilelo blamed on Toshiro, her older brother. Though she'd never actually met him, she'd been told about him, and she hated him with a burning passion. She'd find him one day, where ever he was, and make him feel her pain. As the cub spoke again, her gaze was stoic and dead serious. This was indeed a prospect. She was a practically starved young lioness, she'd be no good in a fight. But Kabili here, he'd grow into a force to be reckoned with. He'd help her if she needed it... Right?

"When I'm older, I'll go out and find him, and I'll sure as hell make him pay."

The white cub nodded solemnly as if a scheme was already forming in his ever plotting mind. "There's no reason to forgive him." He told her rather darkly, having a look upon his features that was hard to imagine on such a young cub such as himself. "To take the life of the one who gave you life is one thing, but to take that life when it's needed by others is almost as bad, if not worse."

He didn't know the male she was talking about but already he didn't like him. He sounded like a terrible person, as one who would kill their own kin could only be classified as.

Kabili grit his teeth and lashed his tail out behind him. "I'll be here for you, here to help in anyway I can." He told her through bared teeth thinking about her brother. "Come and get me and I'll go with you. No questions or doubts about it." He told her making eye contact.

He wouldn't let her go face her brother on her own. No that would be stupid, especially since he was older that her and with age came experience. With the condition Kilelo was in now there was no way she'd be ready to face him for a long time. She'd need someone to stand by and Kabili was more than willing to be that someone. "Come and get me and I'll go." He told her one more time extremely serious which would seem odd to any adults or really anyone that passed by.

Cubs were supposed to be happy, joyful and playful. Kabili wasn't. He was mischievous, deceitful at times, devious and even cruel sometimes. That wasn't to say that he couldn't be everything a cub was supposed to be. Whenever he was around his family he acted just like a cub was supposed to and now....Now he showed the real him.

Kilelo shook her guant head firmly, giving the young cub a stern look, the expression held in her odd colored eyes rather dark.

"I don't plan on forgiving him. Ever."

Kilelo hated her elder brother. She didn't even want to consider him as a family member. She'd never met him either, there were fleeting images in her mind, but she abhorred the male. They shared the same blood, but in her mind, they weren't even slightly related. As Kabili spoke, Kilelo pressed her ears back lightly. She hoped he hadn't forced thoughts into this young cub's head that really ought not to be there. He was young, innocent, sure, mischevious, but filling him with this hate? However, she figured he'd have to grow up sooner or later. Might as well be sooner.

Slowly, she eased up from her laying position, standing tall and skeletal across from the little cub. A light smile rose to light up her dark face. She admired his determination. Hopefully, he wouldn't forget, because she surely wouldn't. Affectionately, she put a dusty paw onto his shoulder, her smile widening.

"I appreciate that, thanks. And I will, I really will."

There was a lightness to her eyes that hadn't been there before. Softly, Kilelo set her paw back down, taking a look over her shoulder. Her stomach grumbled loudly, making her put on a sheepish grin. She backed away a little, dipping her head to the cub, getting ready to take off.

"I think you ought to get heading back, and I ought to head off, see if someone left some food laying around. I'm starving. I better see you again soon, Bili."

"I'll be waiting." Was the last thing he said before rising to his paws and turned to head off in the opposite direction, towards his family. He started off before stopping, glancing back, and bowing his head. He flicked his head and began to trot off again. Kabili didn't say good-by because they always sounded too formal and permanent, he also figured that his last words towards her were enough as well. It couldn't be that hard to figure out could it?

When he was a far distance again he glanced back again. Perhaps he could convince his parents to leave a bit of their kill behind, he wouldn't tell them why but he would ask. Kilelo wanted to care for herself but a tini-bit of help wouldn't hurt. They'd see each other again, Kabili would make sure they did.
