She frowned when he chattered then motioned towards her shoulder. She'd rather not talk about it, but then again he wouldn't understand anyway. "Alphas' do not take it lightly when a member decides to leave the pack." She stated, and then to clue him in on what she was saying. She impersonated Haku with his prideful stance of supiority. Then with her fangs she lashed out into the air. With that shown she fell silent and continued walking.

Conroy's pace kept steady as he looked at Noke's impression of another wolf. So it was an alpha attack from what he could decipher. Man, what a violent society these wolves; ready to tear one another to shreds for no real reason. He puffed his chest in pride; foxes were so more civilized. He looked then to the winding row ahead and put of quizzical look on his maw,
"Where we off ta?"

She shook her head at Conroy's obvious pride in his species. She continued the trail for a bit longer. She was in thought wondering what game might be near. She then looked at Conroy as he babbled on. She wondered what critters like he ate anyway. Mice, maybe? She thought, a mouse would do her no good no she needed something a bit bigger then that.

Conroy's tail just kept on wagging as they padded on; wolf and fox, side by side. What an odd sight. He didn't take much into the fact that she hadn't responded; maybe they were just going forward... It seemed a good direction as any, to him anyways. He huffed and then took a deep breath in. There were other critters about that he didn't take much intrest in. The thing Conroy loved so much about wolves was they could take down big prey; one very certain fox could live preeetty long on a deer or something of the like.

Noke continued following the trail, but this time paused to test the wind for any scents. A good trail indeed, they just so happened to be downwind. She hoped Conroy could stay stealth like. It had been a day or so since she last ate and a hare would do her just fine. Maybe they could even find two hares. The only problem with this being was hares were a tricky prey to catch they were fast and agile. She quickened her pace, but made sure this time not to make too much noise.

Right off the bat Conroy knew what Noke was up to. She had gone all sneaky like. A chance to grab some grub possibly? His gait became much cleaner; much quieter incase something was about. He had his practice in hunting maybe he'd catch something for himself as well. The scent of hare was around. Those were simple prey for a slick fox... If the prey didn't notice him before hand that is. He'd have to be quick and quiet if he was going to pull this one off and in his mind; proove himself to the wolves.

Good, she thought, he understands. She was secretly amused that they finally could communicate. She wished that Akui and Nyx were around so that their chances for bigger game were much higher. She still sneeked around pausing once again to sniff the air. She could smell a hare, but there was also another scent. Perhaps she would leave the fox to get the hare. She split off from the trail and into aimless parts of the woods her nose obviously tracking something else. Mearly seconds later she engaged in a chase after a dark figure that was to be a beaver. Then as soon as it started it was over. Noke triumphantly brought the prey over back to the trail.

Conroy's mind was also on food. He had also strayed from the path; not taking notice in Noke's departure. He was on the scent of a hare. He spotted the elusive prey digging out a small burrow on the dirt. Perfect, it wouldn't see him advance. He lept; the rabbit spooked and took off; Conroy right beind it; nipping at its heels. The rabbit made a fatal mistake though. It lept to avoid him at which time he stretched out his neck and grabbed the fleeing animal by the legs. The rodent squealed loudly in protest as its legs were broken by Conroy's fairly strong jaws. He pinned it to the ground and snuffed the rabbits life out. What a sucessfull hunt! He lifted the fat rabbit into the air and quickly dropped it; kinda heavy. He sniffed around for Noke and went into dragging the fresh kill back to the trail.

Monenoke sat on her haunches digging into the frest kill. With one paw holding it down. She paused to see Conroy returning with a plump hare. She smiled happy to see he got it. She continued eating till all that was left was a carcass. She got up and shook herself off sending small bits of snow in every direction.

The lithe fox eventually made his way back to the trail; the fresh rabbit blood now dripping from his maw and onto the white snow. He snurffed about till he was close to Noke and the plopped his kill down. He then tore into it viciously; tearing through the soft fur and into the tender flesh of the prey. When he rose his maw the rabbit was more than half gone; his whole face and chest fur was soaked in its blood. Well that had been one hungry fox! But a pup like him couldn't eat a whole hare. With great hesitation he looked to Noke and nosed his kiil toward her; offering her some of it since he couldn't fit more down his throat if he tried.
"Noke, share?"

Noke curiously looked at Conroy to see him shoving the hare towards her. At first she was confused, but then got the idea. "Thanks." she said and slowly ate a little bit before pausing. How could she have forgotten so easily? She stopped and looked at Conroy. "Mind if I take it to "share" with my pack?" She said remembering that Nyx could'nt hunt at the moment and Akui was already burdened with other things. She tried imitating her packmates.

The fox's gaze darted about in curiosity on whether Noke was going to take his offering or not but to his delight she did. She didn't eat much which made him wonder. Then the purple wolf looked to him and said something. Once again Conroy didn't understand her but her actions did get to him a little. Did she want to.... Give his gift to other wolves? That's what it seemed like. Conroy beamed and nodded; a kill good enough for a fox was good enough for wolves,
"Sure, take it to your friends!"

It...looked as if it understood her. She yipped happily before taking the prey into her mouth and slowly headed back towards the den where Nyx and the pups were. She knew that they indeed were most likely driving Nyx nuts. With that thought in her head her pace quickened as she imagined the puppies.

(This is a private roleplay between me and myself xD with the exception of any pack-mates.)
Noke padded through the forest, her nose twitched taking in each scent. She followed a trail that winded through every which way. Foliage, in which was dead was covered in a think blanket of snow as she picked her way through it. Then she stopped, it wasn't exactly in the middle of nowhere, but it was definately a place where she could relax. Her orbs slid over the terrain around her to see a den and a small clearing. She stopped laying her belly on the floor before pressing her chin on her paws. She watched as small flurries fell. Her mind pounced on several things, however one in particular continuesly appeared.
Kamali... she thought remembering the minty green pup. She couldn't lie she did like him perhaps more than what she should have. Noke shook her head, it would've never worked. She released a deep sigh. She was happy living with Akui, Nyx, and Cheza she really was. They are her family, they were all she had. She sometimes wondered what it would've been like if she had stayed in Kamali's pack. Yet either way she knew the she would've held the same heartbreak. For she would have lost her family. She got up and shook herself off before padding through the forest trying to clear her thoughts. However she still liked Kamali no matter how it tormented her.
