well, i put up some bare bones on the front page. We still need banners and graphics for the descriptive posts, and of course the full storyline.
i put up a few markers and ideas there, but i haven't got the dialogue of the survivors or their clues, so, we'll need to come up with all that yet.

And i love the idea. What if the attack spawned 'demons'? Shadowy creatures you never quite see but can feel and sense. The sort of the thing you feel and then turn to look but see nothing. They could be the disease spreaders and the direct result of the attack. Smack me if I'm way off topic.

Oooo. That'd sort of be like the old theory of disease - the demonic "miasma". I like that!
Tell me what sort of banners/graphics we need, and I'll try some stuff~

Well, banners for the in between posts at least. I really wish we could use the Document post format, but they haven't set it up in guilds yet. Y , Y
we'll prolly have a better idea of what sort of graphics once we get the actual script typed out.

Yeah, the document post style would be awesome. D:
How should we go about writing the script? Coming up with a vague plot, then having everybody write up their own character's little exposition piece?
We should probably require a certain number of true facts, one or two red herrings, and one or two pieces of blatant misinformation in each post.~

Just catching up in the thread.
Graphics wise I'm better with brushes, banners, and fonts. I could see if I can come up with something for the descriptive post. Perhaps a few mono-colored side images to go along with whatever else we find. Like blood splatters or deserted streets or buildings. Just real thin side banner sort of things for the descriptive stuff.
If you want banners for the descriptive posts or even just finding a kinda of spooky/slanty sort of font that is easy to read that the whole post could be made out of; I don't mind doing a little searching for that either.
Basically, I'd love to help. Just let me know what you want done.
Edit: Elysia, I was told if I wanted to make little side banners for the inbetween posts to ask you about colors. ^^ So what sort of colors?

sounds great to me! rather than having text headers, imagery and brushes would be more suitable I think. but find out from Elysia what colour scheme the images should have...

I'm fiddling around with textures and such for the main character pictures. Once I get something we all like for those, you can go off of those for the colors. 3nodding

A couple of the modified main character pictures are up now~ So you can go look at them for color scheme. Very muted, with lots of browns and greens and greys. 3nodding

I'll get started on the side banners thing, and those colors should look neat. Kinda gives the whole thing an old movie feel to it.

I can try and help out...basic storyline starts with the child, and then goes further into the town.
Since it has an old movie feel maybe try to use noire movie sort of terms.
So we need clues, which means we need to figure out where to put the final bit of the answer.
Clue/Red Herring ideas:
-The child has blood on his shoes, perhaps could find bloody shoe prints later on; footprints could lead to the first place the outbreak started.
-Somewhere in the school, find some sort of cult markings (red herring, actually left by occult curious students).
-Hidden in the church a brief case dropped by someone, has some sort of information about the outbreak.
-Dr. has some forensic evidence about what is happening.
-Cover up files hidden somewhere in the town hall
