Trotting up with his tongue lolling, Thayne sniffed the wind and found the scent of deer blood on it. He'd been off a ways stalking rabbits and mice, but had come up empty. When he'd heard Selia's call, he'd come back immediately to the promise of food, since his own skills assured him far less. He passed by Hige and Loki's den and barked at them twice, letting them know that there was food to be had, just in case Selia's howl hadn't warned them already.
He trotted over to the alpha den and made a little bow to Selia and Devvyl where they sat, then tore as big of a hunk of meat as he could from the deer carcass. He started to gnaw as soon as he possibly could, wanting to still the restlessness in his rumbling stomach.

Stil flicking beads of moisture every which way with each theatrical beat of his long feathered tail, Yero crouched on his hind legs in a half sitting position as he diligently looked around the banks for a fertile spot. His thinking was similar to Whinn's, though in a slightly different vein. As a pup he had never felt safer than when shielded by a copse of greenery. Even as an adult he remembered his fervent urge not to be seen, and instinctively looked for a place more sheltered than others. Stretching his legs to stand once more he padded a couple paces and nosed at some thich reeds and cattails, close to the river but on a relatively steep incline that quelled his worries of flood. Behind the fragrant wall was a slight dip in the steepening land surrounded by flat rocks covered with moss from the river's moisture. The raven wolf's soggy tail raised triumphantly. "Whinn, come see what you think of this!"

Yero huffed a cold breath of silver mist out between his teeth and liched the sides of his muzzle as he padded swiftly albeit silently through the snow. Hunger gnawed at the black wolf's belly like an angry animal.
Tilting his ebon nose to the wind Yero scented Hige nearby. This would be a good opportunity to get to know his younger 'brother', to work together bringing down prey. A smile crossed Yero's maw. Yes, that would be good.
He gave a low how, undulating up the scale a couple notes, inviting Hige to join him. He hoped the other wolf was up for a snack.

Hige's ears perked, they had just reached the soon-to-be den once more when Yero's call caught his ears. It seemed his older brother wanted his company.
"I'll be back with something to eat soon." He turned his head and gave Loki an affectionate nudge and a lick to her muzzle, accompanied by a soft whine. With that, he departed, wuffing to his own 'younger brother' as he passed. He left that invitation for Thayne to take or leave. Should the dark hued pup decide to stay stay this time, Hige wouldn't push for him to go..... in case Loki needed warmth. He trusted Thayne.
At the same time, though, they hadn't talked much since the trek to new territory began. It was a good chance to catch up, and start getting to know their other pack members.

"I was just about to take off on a hunt." The black pelted wolf's well toned form rippled under his coat as he manuvered from the half-bow into a stretch. "Would you like to come along? I could use some company," He flashed a smile. In truth, the young adult was not quite accustomed to bringing down large prey. Whinn had taught him the benefits of 'seafood', but the fish had gone with the warm temperature.

Loki returned the nuzzle and curled herself up in the partially dug den. She sighed and rubbed her head along the ground, hoping for some relief from the pain. Whining softly, she laid her thick bushy tail over her nose, closed the eye closest to the pain, and stared out at the others digging their dens.

Souls body moved, tring gently to drag Isaac on her back. her boy, Aoiko, was right by her side. she continued to trudge fowards, her paws deep in the snow. 'we....We made it' she let out a bark as she watched Isaac with an eye.
her tail swayed side to side as she spoted the pack. she let out a yelp of happiness. 'Home!' she quickly fell to the ground though. her eyes slanted with fatigue. she lay, panting slightly. Isaac had slid off her her back and lay besides her in the snow. she was tired, and Isaac was quite a weight to carry so far. but she did it. she let out another bark as she looked to Aoiko. her ears flicking about as she rolled over to see Isaac nose to nose. she let out a silent yelp. he looked so peaceful unconsious. no emotion. he did'nt look worried, scared, happy...peaceful. she nuzzled his neck fur, then licked at his nose. 'hurry. and wake. i want you to meet the pack.' and with that she stood, lifting him once more and trudged fowards towards the alpha's. Hige shifted his weight a bit and stretched as well to prepare his muscles, the cold snow dusting his pelt from his jog.
"What are you thinking about taking down?" He asked as he took up an easy pace, expecting Yero to join of course.

Yero jogged along beside Hige, tilting his ears pleasurably backwards as the air streamed gently over his head. "I was hoping to find something moderate," The wolf replied. "Maybe a doe or young buck if we can find one," Yero was quite muscular, but he was generally smaller than most males, in all dimensions, and had to be careful not to be too ambitious without the rest of the pack. But for hunting with his 'brother', it should be fine.

"We'd be so lucky," He chuckled, shaking out his fur briefly. "So, uh," His voice faultered uncertainly. "have you ever, taken on one of them before?"

Yero flinched slightly. His ears flattened in disdainful indignace impulsively before he remembered--he had no right to be indignant. His wine colored eyes darted left and right as if seeking out spies, and his tail curled slightly as he muttered to Hige, in half jesting but half geniune flustered tones.
"Urm. Look here now, this is just between us..males... but, No." His eyed pleaded with the younger wolf for help.
