stalebreadcrums girl_no_13 *eep* the Ganguro girls in Fruits scare me, the make up is so ridiculous that they bear a slight resemblance to clowns- one of the things I'm scared of! The clothes arent that bad though sometimes. I wonder if ganguro will come to the UK and America? Have you ever gone to a mall before xd ?! They wear just silly(and a lot) of make-up they do look like clowns. I dont like the style and never will. I think I'm to sick of seeing young teenage girls looking like that where I live. Plus I just dont like how the whole style looks. Not an American one, though I have seen lots of chavs (its a British thing) in too much make up and so much fake tan they look orange, the clothes are different though.

I find it pretty amusing...the make up at least...And there skin...I mean, it must be pretty damaged by now with all the tanning beds and the fake tanner...
But I would wear the make up to piss people off. White...and sparkley...*dies laughing*
Looked at other pictures...make up doesn''t look so bad on the girls who didn''t obsessivly tan themselves.

Eww gross.
I think.. being that tanned looks unhealthy, the clothes are god-aweful, the shoes -as great as they would be with a lolita outfit- make them look like hookers, and their make-up is like a clowns'. My lord.They look horribly tacky and I don't want to be associated with them. neutral

My hair was florecent pink just after christmas, and then after it faded I dyed it highlighter orange.
It was terribly bright and awesome, but didnt match a thing in my wardrobe! xd

And I even found a hentai game...*pats a cute one with little make-up* It'll be okay...*runs from others* I know that game! At newgrounds? I've played it like a million times... Not for the porn, but I just think dating games are fun. I discovered that game about 4 years... my friend and I became obsessed with Ganguro girls after that haha! I think that if someone wants to be Ganguro they can. I can't say things like "Lolitas should be allowed to dress the way they do without discrimination" and then turn around and say "Ganguro's are ugly, their fashion sucks." It's true that I don't like that particular style, but I'm not going to say anything bad about it. I just think they're funny xd

I rather like it. It's eye-catching and differnt. The make-up is light and fun, and the clothing is more of a 70's retro look.
It's different from Lolita, but I don't find it any worse or better.

I dunno, I'm kind of...on two very opposing sides. On the one hand I really like it, it's so colourful and cute and the panda style make-up is just so adorable. Also I think it's really cool that these Japanese girls are going against what their society wants them to be--from pale, dark haired, quiet and obidient girls to bronze, blonde, loud and outspoken women it's quiet a sight to behold. A revolution even, lol. On the other hand, it often looks more than a little tacky given the very orange colour fake tans seem to give off and when they wear those blue contacts...it just doesn't suit them well. Even the make-up can look terrible if it's not applied a certain way. Also, as much as I love the thought of young women rebelling against their society, I really don't approve of people changing themselves to be like someone else. You should be proud of who you are, what you look like, and where you're from, by pretending to be like California Girls they're kind of denying that. Anyway that's my opinion.
