He chuckled lightly at Father's words. He had heard as much as a child and he'd believed it then. Now, now not so much. Now he knew the truth of things. Plague used his hold on the rest of them to lift himself up. He was only as strong as he was because mother never fought back enough. She had succumbed to him.
"I will do no such thing. What the other to do is of no concern to me." He stretched his wings as he took in Plague's appearance. "I am not your play thing Father. You were a wonderful teacher. It seems though that you were too good of one"

There was no backing down now, not that he would have. The colt was no longer under his command, and out of the three he had raised, he had never come to expect that Tarnish would be the first to be killed of all his children. Taint and Torment, he had suspected, either would be the first, but not this one. Not the strongest.
"Perhaps that I was," Plague gruffly admitted, then lashed out at the white mutant's throat, his jagged and broken fangs bared.

Diabetia, although still entangled with her daughter's horns, had heard the two stallions addressing one another. Both looked to be powerful opponents, and she truly had no idea who would come out victorious should they both attack.
Turning her attention back towards her own opponent, she winced as her stomach lurched, a shooting pain going through her. Her stomach had been sensitive for days now, but she dismissed it to something she had eaten that hadn't boded well with her digestive track. Now was definitely not the time to cramp up.

Returning with her own snarl, Torment ignored the two stallions and reached her leg out bringing it around and pulling forward, tripping Dia's front legs until she fell forward. It was a technique she and Taint had used on one another as foals, and it served her well now in her own fight against her Mother.
Grinning, she flashed her fangs and grabbed at the mare's head, hoping to force her down to the ground for a better aim at her more vulnerable points.

His brows lofted as he watched the movement between the mares, more interested in this fight for the moment... The fight and his mother. "Torment, leave her! She'll suffer more if you do." A twisted grin curved his lips. "I promise you, sister... She will suffer greatly."

He reared back as his father lunged at him. Best odds would leave Plague biting down on hoof or with a hoof cracking against the other stallion's skull.
His father was injured still and he would not loose to him. He was stronger than the decaying mess of a stallion.

Her striped horn now at her mother's throat, it was only by chance that she heard her youngest brother calling out to her. If it hadn't been for his obvious stressing of certain words, there would no doubt be a deep gash where her mother's intact jugular used to be.
Angrily, she kicked out at her mother's head, hearing a sickening thud as her heavy hoof fell against the mare's skull. Diabetia's eyes rolled back into her head and she lay there, motionless.
Being a kalona, her bones were stronger than that of a regular horse's, and Torment had no doubt she would remain alive. Damaged internally, she couldn't tell, but alive.
Satisfied somewhat with the condition she left her in, Torment drew closer to where her brother was standing, the girlish stallion seemingly hiding no longer from the rest of his family.
"So now... why the HELL would you tell me to keep her alive?" she growled, frustrated. It wasn't too terribly bad. If his answer wasn't good enough, she could always simply walk over and finish the b***h off, she supposed.

He hadn't expected the mutant to rear back at his approach, and Plague felt the hard force of a hoof slam against his cheek as he continued moving forward.
His jaw stung worse than ever, and he snarled loudly as he forced himself further forward, shoving his broken horn at the younger stallion's chest.

"Tell me, sister, why would a healthy mare wince... She looks healthy to me, at least." He smirked as he eyed their dam for a moment before looking back to his sister. "... What would make her suffer even more than she already has? Look closely, Torment... Tell me what you see."

As he came down from his rear he snarled as his father's head kept coming at him. b*****d couldn't just learn that he wasn't as powerful as he thought he was.
His jaw opened and his teeth aimed at his father's head where there was still an ear and flesh to latch onto. He wanted more than that to sink his teeth into. He wanted to be able to shake the fool enough to rattle some sense into him before he crushed him.

Impatient and still quite frustrated, Torment's gazed turned back around to study their fallen mother. She hadn't seemed to look any different than before... maybe a bit fatter, if anything?
"What's your point, Taint?" she huffed, glaring at him. "She's going to suffer no matter what if I kill her. What could be worse than that?"

The large being grunted as the younger creature came down on him once again, this time, snagging his one good ear left. He'd be damned before he'd go deaf, and he let off yet another growl as he twisted his head, sending his broken horn into the jaw of the other beast's mouth. Already he could feel the skin being torn off his face, dangerously close to his good ear, and he struggled to free himself of the other beast's hold. Tarnish was stronger... much stronger than he had anticipated. Had he underestimated him just as he had underestimated the skinwalker?

"... What could be worse than death?" His brow lofted slightly as he turned towards his sister once more, wanting this little 'chat' to be over with so that he could watch the rest of the show. Giving his head a light toss he turned away from her, eyes on Plague and Tarnish with fixed interest. "... Pregnancy."

He growled as his fathers horn dug into his jaw and pulled back. The chunk of flesh that came away with was was quickly spit onto the ground before he lunged at the other stallion. His horns were well sharpened and he knew there were enough sores on his father's body to prove useful. Something sharp dug into one of them with enough force behind it could take the stallion down.

Torment gave him a deadpanned expression. That... that wasn't possible, was it?
But it made sense, the more and more she thought about it. The bulge in her Mother's stomach, the way she winced... Diabetia was pregnant.
A small grin formed on her lips, and she turned to watch the current battle raging, standing alongside her youngest sibling.
"Well well well," she muttered softly, glancing to look at the fallen mare, "Looks like something far worse than death has happened to you."
