Aylana frowns and looked at the water. Arakel was right, this wasn't the Rune they remembered. He had also brought up alot of the same questions running through her head. What happen to Ms. Nanakii, and why was Rune with this lady?

Standing she looks down at Arakel. "At this point I think we should try and find Airi, but first I also think we should try to fnd out what the woman over there knows. Maybe she can give us a clue as to why he changed." she looks to Rune and frowns thinking to herself "What happen to you Rune......"

Jiora sighed and shifted her weight from one foot to the other, wishing the strange blue people would stop talking to eachother and explain to her just what the hell they wanted with Ghost. Or..was his name really Rune like the strange boy had said? She frowned up at the unicorn, reaching up to stroke his nose absently.

Jaclyn sat with her back to a tree, watching the others with feigned disinterest. Whatever was going on - weird as it may be - was sure to at least be somewhat interesting.

"Well then, let's go." Nodding to Aylana, Arakel started to head toward Jiora. By the time he was there, he already had a few questions in mind. "Alright, we're not here to argue about his name or anything of the like. We're here to ask you a few questions." Arakel paused, giving Rune a quick glance. Hopefully, he would soon be back as the real Rune.

"I don't really care what you think is right, so don't try to throw your opinion in. Rune used to be a Fa'e. Aylana and I are Fa'e also." Throwing a look over his shoulder at Aylana, Arakel continued. "We wanted to know if you know why Rune is like he is now. Maybe if we figure that part out, we can change him back to his true form." Arakel knew he was being rather rude, but at this point, he didn't particularly care.

Aylana smiles and walking over she places a hand on Arakel's shoulder. Looking to the ladies she smiles "Sorry, see the thing is Arakel is well Rune's twin brother. And I'm well one of Rune's really close friends. We're tryng to figure out why he's a unicorn now. And also what happen to his mother, Ms. Nanakii..."

She glances to Rune then to the ladies "Its really important that we know, because if we find out we might be able to figure out a way to change him back....." she bites her bottom lip hoping they understood what was happening.

Jiora stared blankly at Arakel for a moment, trying to figure out whether he were serious or not. He couldn't honestly be telling her to shut up, could he? And so blatantly? Just who the hell did he think he was?! She'd just ignore him for now.

She shook her head, pressing her fingertips against her temple as though trying to soothe a headache, and frowned curiously at Aylana when she spoke up. "So...let me get this straight.. You think that a unicorn is that guy's twin brother?" She shook her head again, glancing first to the ground, and then to Rune. Now that she thought about it...it wasn't that farfetched.. Not for Gaia anyway. "I don't know anyone named Nanakii. He's been pretty much like this since I found him. I mean..he was a ghost at first... I could read signs through him. I guess he's better now though..." She looked at Aylana again, rather pointedly ignoring Arakel. "If he really is this Rune person, then I don't know why he's like this now."

"He isn't really a unicorn. I thought you would at least understand that part." He really didn't like this woman. She was clearly ignoring him, and frankly, it made him mad. This whole situation made him mad! "He really is "that Rune person," as we have told you." Closing his eyes, Arakel slowly allowed calm to seep back into him.

Opening his eyes, Arakel faced Aylana, ignoring any comments Jiora had to say. "Why don't we just take him and leave? We can find Airi. It's obvious that we can't find any answers here." Jiora would no doubt object to this. If she heard him, that was.

Aylana looked at Arakel and shook her head "Arakel we can't, beside she did tell us something. Remember at prom when Morion asked Airi if he would fade because his mother died. She called him ghost because that what happen to Rune. He started fading. That mean something happen to Ms. Nanakii" she stops and looks to Rune.

Shaking her head she frowns "I think the only reason he's not fading anymore is because of her" she points to Jiora "We can't take Rune away from her, because what if this time he does disappear forever. Are you willing to risk that?" she looked to Jiora then back to Rune "No Rune will stay with her, and we'll help them out..." she turns to Arakel "Right?"

Aylana walks over and holds her hand out toward Rune in hope he'll let her pet him. "Rune everything will be okay I promise, I said I would always be there for you when we were kids and I still am...." she look Rune right in the eyes.

She clenched her teeth, doing her best not to lash out at Arakel. It wouldn't do to set the forest ablaze by mistake just because she was angry at this idiot. She glanced at him from the corner of her eye. "And if I told you one of your pets was actually my twin sister and that you should give her to me, you'd believe me right off? I know you say he's your brother, but what reason do I have to believe you aside from your word? I don't even know you!" She paused for a breath, turning to face him fully. "So if you don't mind, I'd appreciate not being treated like a complete idiot!"

She glanced at Aylana then, a bit confused over the whole concept of fading, whatever that was supposed to mean. Why would Rune fade if this Nanakii person had gone away?

Rune blinked slowly at Aylana as she spoke, taking a few small steps back from her. His ears twitched between pricking forward attentively and pinning back in alarm. There was something about her and Arakel that tugged at the back of his mind, but just what that something was still escaped him.

"What?! Her?!" It was...unfair! Why did Rune have to bond with her, of all people? She was loud, rude, and didn't listen to anything he said! Calling Rune that silly name..."Ghost." Bah, he looked nothing like a ghost!

But what if Aylana was right? Arakel remembered well enough when Morion's Guardian had been killed. It was a rather serious event, as nothing like that had ever happened before. What if something really had happened to Aunt Nana? They couldn't leave Rune without a Guardian. And despite what Arakel though of her, Rune did seem to like the woman.

Sighing with defeat, Arakel gave Jiora a blue-eyed glare. "Fine." Just one word, as that was all he needed to say. As soon as he had spoken the word, Rune stepped back from Aylana, ears pinned down. "Aylana, speak to him again. Maybe he's starting to remember." It was a rather false hope, but perhaps...

Aylana frowns as Rune stepped away she looks down at the grass and giggles "Hey Rune remember orange grass or purple water? The chalk board wall in your room...." she looks up at the sky and sighs "What about playing tag in your backyard and the garden....or the flower you gave me..."

She was shaking her head how could he not remember, she looks to Rune then to Arakel "I think we shouldn't try anything else at this point, not until he been bonded...and we find Airi..." there was sadness in her voice but she blocked it with a smile.

She scowled at Arakel, again resisting the rather violent urges he seemed to inspire. Ignoring him again would likely be for the best. She turned her attention to Aylana again, warily watching as she spoke to Rune.

The unicorn snorted softly, taking another step back before pausing. He pricked his ears forward, twitching them just a bit. Chalk boards and tag...? Those...sounded almost familiar...another thing he felt as though he should know... His ears twitched back suddenly and he ducked his head - this was all rather confusing.

Jiora sighed and pressed her lips together to form a thin, disapproving line. "Yes.. I think that's enough for now too. I'd like to get home soon... She frowned a bit and glanced at Jaclyn, then to the others. "I can give you my address. Would either of you happen to have a pen and paper or something..?"

"Not me. You? If not, we can think of...something." Refusing to even glance at Jiora, Arakel nodded towards Aylana, a obviously fake smile plastered on his face. He wasn't exactly happy with the situation, but if he wanted Rune back, then desperate times called for desperate measures. Even if Rune went to this...midget.

"I suppose we should all go now. Aylana and I have to find Airi, and..." Arakel turned around to peer down at Rune, the fake smile twisting into a real one. "You keep trying to remember, okay? I know you haven't the slightest idea who I am, but we'll fix that. I miss you, brother."

It seemed as if he would be finished, but he instead next turned toward Jiora. "Take care of him. I've lost him once. I don't want to loose him again."

Aylana frowns then shakes her head "No but I'm sure I can remember it, then send a owl to Arakel so that he'll have the address also. That way if Arakel finds Airi before me he can bring her to Rune" she watches Arakel feeling sad for the teen. She know he had to be worse than her at this point.

Aylana turns back Jiora and smiles "I hope you don't mind but I wanna see Rune again real soon, so I might be stopping by to see how he is." she looks around then nods "Well I must be going I have to get back home...." she bows to Jiora then nod to the rest.

Jiora blinked when she realized neither of them had anything to write with and threw a single, despairing glance at Jaclyn. The girl simply smirked and shook her head, quite obviously amused with the entire situation. Jiora glowered - that wasn't helping anymore than the way the great blue, horned idiot was acting as though it was her fault his brother was a unicorn. As if she'd had anything to do with it! The imbecile.

She sighed heavilyand recited her address, along with her phone number, and checked to make sure that Aylana at least wasn't about to forget it. If the winged girl were to show up, Jiora was sure she'd be able to handle it. As for the great blue, horned idiot...that was an entirely separate issue.

Rune peered warily up at Arakel, almost seeming to recognize him. It was obvious, even in his current form, that he was grasping at some distant memory that slipped away like mist. He snorted once and glanced to Jiora, though didn't step away from his brother.

Absently, Jiora reached out to pat his side, though she hadn't seen his glance. "You're welcome to stop by..." As if she'd have been able to stop them anyway. It probably wouldn't have been a good idea to tell them to stay away, even if one was an idiot. Speaking of him...she looked at him askance, frowning as though she were looking at a rather unpleasant sort of bug that had found its way onto the bottom of her shoe. "And I'll be sure to take extra precautions against any future thefts of him," she said grudgingly. She had to admit that it had at least been her fault he'd been stolen in the first place. He simply wouldn't be allowed to run free at night from now on.

She threw a last glance around the area, pausing to give Jaclyn a meaningful look. "If you have no more questions, we'll be taking our leave now. I need to get home to check on my son, among other things.." She frowned a bit, lingering just a moment while Jaclyn stood to be sure the two fa'e weren't going to keep her any longer.

"You gonna stand there all day, Ji-babe?"

A slight twitch. She scowled briefly at Jaclyn - had she really needed to call her that? - and shook her head. "I suppose I'll see the two of you later," she murmured before finally taking her leave, Jaclyn and Rune in tow.
