My sister got me hooked to them by the age of 4, haha. Whenever I'd be with her that's all I would hear. I'm 17 now...

I got into them after watching MTV2's The Cure vs. The Smiths, I heard lullaby 1st and the next day I went out to Chester and bought the Greatest Hits CD/DVD boxset, and the rest is history...

Romantic time of my life drew me in. I was alot younger than i am now of course, but the lyrics never fail to get my heart pounding. Close to me being a classic, but Boys Dont Cry being the one that caught me.. And it will never cease to thrill me.

Well, since I grew up in the 1980's, they are one of the first bands I recall. My mom used to listen to them, Metallica, and R.E.M.
The Cure is soul music. heart

Well... My brother always used to listen to the Cure when I was like 9ish and I always was in his room playing with his records and so I heard it a lot but didn't know who it was. When I was like 12 he moved out and gave me all his cds to keep while he was away and I became obsessed with them. Eventually he moved back in and took his cds back though which was sad sad But now I have my own ^_^
