I'm 18 and I still love Halloween. Although the free candy is great, I love it because you can play pretend or in other words cosplay; which is something that I love to do. But the horror movies are always fun to watch with a group of friends or to go to a grave yard with a few friends is good fun too!

It really depends because you can lost interest in certain parts of halloween. Like trick or treating? Kinda boring now. But getting a sick costume together and dressing up? AWESOME!
It's one of the only nights of the year that the more crazy, creepy, and outrageous your clothing is, the better! And decorating is one of the best parts too. We have a life-sized grim reaper on our doorstep that scares the bejesus out of the little kids. And my mom loves to smear fake blood and cobwebs everywhere.
It's sad though because now everyone is so paranoid about letting their kids out after dark so now the trick or treaters come out at like 5 o'clock. Lame. I remember when I was a kid, my parents would turn me loose onto the streets at midnight and I would have the time of my life.
Maybe that's why it's no fun anymore to trick or treat. Too many restrictions... emo

The last few years I've just turned my garage into a haunted house. I don't think I'll loose interest in that as long as I have time to do it... I was loosing interest in a lot of the festivities, but then I quit taking myself so seriously. Having funly morbid friends helps. Plus, recently I've been getting into old "Goosebumps" episodes and cheesy horror like "Army of Darkness" which also helps to keep it fun.

Some people definitely lose interest in it. I'm definitely not one of them. Halloween is seriously the biggest event of the year for me and I enjoy going ALL OUT.
And unfortunately, I'm in the complete opposite boat as you are. I haven't lost interest in Halloween at all, but everyone else around me seems to have lost interest. We started college this year and my friends seem to want to go to a party instead of actually doing something. That thought makes me want to go into a dark corner and slit my wrists. I put a lot of time and effort into my costumes and I don't want them ruined by some jackass who can't hold onto his beer. I want to scare and be scared.

Goodness, gracious, no! You're never too old for free candy! It really is the best time of year. Dressing up, scaring people, getting scared. Oh! And Six Flags Fright Fest is the absolute best! I'm 17 and still trick-or-treat, go to parties, etc. All of my friends decide a theme and we all go as a certain character of that theme whether it be from a book, show, movie, or something on the internet! (Madness last year, lol!) But Halloween is always really fun, no matter what.

I never want to see Halloween end. I'm 28 and still love it to death. I give out candy, go around in a costume scaring the crap out of people or getting scared. Coming up with ideas for haunted houses, parties, and other stuff that falls with the holiday.
