 Jaydn gave her a look, “No s**t Sherlock, but he’s gonna find out eventually and you know it.” Jaydn ran a hand through his hair with a sigh. How can she even think that I would just go tell Uncle Han about this, it would be like digging my own grave.

Kyrin gave him a very sad look, as tears sprung to her eyes. His comment bugged her, but there was no anger in her face. Her annoyance became apparent when Ky brought her right hand back and slapped Jaydn across the face. “a*****e.” And with that she stalked from the room. The men at the door looked almost shocked at the fact that she had just slapped their boss, but they let her pass without a moments hesitation.

Jaydn took the slap and felt the warmth of it spread across the left side of his face, <********> He breathed, “I didn’t even do anything.” In all the years that they had spent growing up together, Jaydn had never had Kyrin actually hit him in anger. It gave him the feeling that she was honestly very upset with him and had a way of making him feel bad without really understanding why. I was just saying... Jaydn let Kyrin go on her way, it was likely she didn't want to talk to him, and turned to Nori. There were still some things that Jaydn wanted to know and if anyone seemed to know, Nori did. “How long have you known?”

Nori recoiled as Jaydn turned his eyes back to him. There was noone to defend him now, so he'd just have to do what he could to keep Jaydn happy. Remembering he had a voice, " Just...Just recently."he managed to say, exhaling. Nori stared intently at the floor, refusing to look into his eyes, or even to fidget.

Nori's timidness only seemed to agitate Jaydn further. Giving an impatient scoff, Jaydn asked, "And what do you know about it?" Running ideas over and over in his head as to how he was going to handle the situation, Jaydn began to pace, just so that he had an outlet for the energy that was erupting from within himself.

Nori watched Jaydn's feet as they followed their rythmic pattern. He decided that he would be honest, but he wouldn't let himself be afraid.
He replied solemnly. "I only just learned about it this morning. I'm sorry for keeping it secret, but you know the circumstances, of course. And because Kyrin asked me to." He risked looking up at little towards Jaydn's chest, but was still shy of his face. "So don't expect me to be a fountain of knowledge about it. The only one who knows the situation better than me is Ky." Nori wasn't bothering with formalities at this point, but he didn't want to make his situation worse with sarcasm either, so he stuck with simple language.

Jaydn stopped his pacing, shooting Nori an irritated glare. Reaching out, he grabbed Nori by the shirt, pulling the younger man close to him. Jaydn's features were cold as he spoke, his voice low, "Don't get smart with me, kid. I'll kick your a**." For a second, Jaydn continued his hold, trying to rein in his own anger. There was little to be gain from beating up on Nori, other than making Jaydn feel nice, and the mafia leader knew this well. Shoving Nori to one side, Jaydn stormed from the room. Some day. The Hayes brothers are dead, taking the funds with them, I dont get to drink jack s**t and now Ky's carrying a kid.

Nori hardly caught his footing as Jaydn pushed him aside. With his hand moving again to his shirt collar, which had been assaulted for the second time that evening, he let out a small sigh. He watched the young mafia leader seethe out of the room, leaving his echoing footsteps behind to keep Nori company.
Alone in the ballroom, Nori walked over towards the long draping windows, fixing his eyes on nothing in particular. What a mess...
He knew he shouldn't have gotten involved, and now there was a huge situation that he was responsible for opening. And Jaydn deffinatly hated him now.
Feeling a little sorry for the situation, Nori stalked out of the ballroom when he was certain it was absent from anyone other than a gaurd. Off to the side of the foyer, there was a blind spot where an old piano sat ignored. The thing looked like it hadn't been tuned for years and years. Nori sat at it's bench, turned away from the sad keys, and stared at the large open space around him.
Was everyone still at the bar enjoying themselves? He had really wanted the night to be a success, as he was desperately in need of cheery company. It was lonely to walk the large corridors of the mansion, but even lonelier to have it filled with people who didn't acknowledge his existance. With the random men and gaurds walking around, there never seemed to stay a sense of familiarity that made a house a home. The whole reason he had joined up with Kyrin and her men in the first place was to rely on teamwork and establish trustabilities. Perhaps he was wrong from the get-go. Perhaps a mafia is really a self-isolating, self-reliant atmosphere.
sigh....
He was starting to miss Germany.
