He blinked, looking sideways at the other male with surprise. "Oh." He said quietly, frowning and glancing back to the water. "I apologize for bringing it up." He muttered, backing up and out of the water, tail flicking and scattering water about him. Now he felt awkward. Wings flicking, Krad paced slightly back and forth, ears back, eyes narrowed.
Why he was obsessing over this, the blond had no idea. Maybe it was because of some twisted desire to do something to make up to Dark the whole 'kill the kaitou' thing. His eyes narrowed further at the thought. That sounded stupid, even to him.

What could he say? He'd never heard an apology from Krad before and he'd never actually seen him look like her regretted something. He could feel the air about them shift and become heavy and slightly strained. It seemed Krad felt as strange about this as he did. He gave his head a frustrated shake before turning about and making his way out of the water. There was no point staying there as neither of them could do anything without risking death.
"Look Krad..."He said with a sigh as he floped onto the ground just outside of the waters reach letting the newly risen sun warm his soaked coat. "I uh...look...well..." This was all so confusing and slightly annoying. "You don't need to apologize. I...well you didn't know...you're just trying to help..." He looked over at the blond wind for a second trying to make eye contact to show he meant what he said but it was just too weird. He couldn't get over how much had changed in such a short time. They weren't at each other's throats like they had been in the past. It was almost like they were...friends and the idea was just so strange.

Jerking out of his thoughts as Dark flopped to the ground nearby, Krad gave a soft snort, curving his head around to eye the other male neutrally. "It's done and past now." Was all he said, turning completely around and pawing at the sand slightly, still frowning. Of course his statement would have to cause an awkward, uneasy silence to rise around them, but what else could he say?
He would have proposed to somehow bully his own two-legger into retrieving the sunken items, but judging by the way Dark had seemed rather adverse to welcome any outside help, especially any provided by the blond...Krad would just keep his mouth shut about his second idea.
Friends? Well, maybe not quite friends, but something other than complete adversaries. Though Krad would have preferred their usual chase over this oppressive silence. Ears flicking, he paced past Dark and once again trod through the water, studying the glittering treasure so far out of either wind's reach.

Dark nodded once then retreated into his own mind only half-heartedly paying attention to what his counterpart was doing. The air felt to heavy almost as though even if he tried to fly away the wind would ground him. Grumbling a bit he got to his feet and stretched everything from his legs to his wings. A familiar smirk fell upon his face when he saw just where Krad was standing. Heaving a fake heavy sigh he approached the blond pretending to still feel a bit down.
"You really wanna help me, don't you?" It was a rhetorical question because a moment later Dark was pushing all of his weight at the 'angel' in attempt to shove him into the lake. That would either piss the other off or just lighten the mood and either way it made him feel loads better.

Flicking his ear in Dark's direction as he heard the other approach, he really paid it no mind. "Hmmm. That was the whole poi--!" Krad gave an inarticulate yelp as he was suddenly shoved sideways. His wings flared as he attempted to regain his balance, failing miserably and still ending up being shoved into the water with a splash. Kicking his legs, he broke the surface with a sputter, ears flat to his head, eyes narrowed. "What the hell was that for!?" He yelled, looking shocked and torn between being amused or annoyed, hair plastered to his face, legs treading water as he approached where Dark was standing.

He couldn't believe that worked but he was extremely glad that it did. At first he only laughed at little but when he saw the look on Krad's face he lost it. He fell to his side flailing his legs about as he struggled to breath through the humor. It was just so wonderful! "The look!" He gasped as he tried to calm himself. "Oh man Krad! You should see the look on your face!" He grinned over at the other stallion a smile spreading into his eyes. He didn't mean any harm by it and he wanted Krad to know that but now way in hell was he saying that allowed. That would only make the mood worse and he'd have to find somewhere else to push his counterpart.

Krad's eyes narrowed further as he watched his counterpart flailing about in laughter on the ground. "So you think that's funny, hmm?" He questioned as the blond hauled himself out of the water, water dripping from sopping wings, clothing and hair. Pacing closer to Dark, he bared his teeth at the other male before shaking himself and splattering water in all directions, hoping to at least get the other somewhat wet. If that failed, he could always chase Dark into the water. It wouldn't be the first time he'd chased the violet haired male about.

The second Krad approached all laughter had vanished from the thief. He was going to die. Krad was going to kill him and there was no where to run. He was going to..."Hey!" Dark cried doing his best to shield himself with a wing. So it seemed that the blond wasn't going to kill him after all. No no. It seemed he just wanted to initiate a water war.
"Come on Krad..." He said rolling over before getting to his feet. "You know it was funny no reason to get so upset." Before he gave his counter part a chance to answer or try to soak him further Dark was on the move. He kicked off the ground hard to launch himself into the water for a counter attack. He'd heard Ayden call this a 'falling boulder' before and every time the kid had done it he'd produced a giant splash. He only hoped that the move would work as well for him. After all, revenge was sweet.

"I do not like getting wet." He growled as he stopped his shaking, stretching his wings and studying the soaked feathers with a look of distaste. There was no way he'd be able to fly now, not with soaked wings. He looked up sharply and shied away as Dark moved swiftly, giving a snarl as he scrambled away from the water as Dark launched himself into the water. And just in time, as an alarming amount of water was launched through the air, splashing all over the ground and still managing to hit Krad's fleeing hooves. Twisting in a sharp turn, he scowled at the other male, giving a roll of his eyes. "Childish." The blond snorted as he folded his legs and dropped to settle down on a sun drenched patch of dry ground, stretching his wings out so they could start to be dried by the sun.

Dark couldn't help but laugh at the blond as he made his was back to shore. He didn't know many horses that liked getting wet, why else would he work so hard at soaking Krad? As he climbed up on the shore he heard the others comment on his behavior and he only laughed harder. "So what else is new?" He asked giving himself a good shaking careful not to send any of the droplets Krad's way. He'd tormented the blond enough for now and the mood was noticeably lighter, at least for him.
Feeling less uncomfortable with most of the water off his coat and feathers he crossed over to the sun patch where Krad was laying. After checking that he wasn't going hit his counterpart by laying down he flopped onto the ground a few feet in front of Krad making a sort of t shape. "Besides it's better to be a bit childish then boring."

He didn't like getting wet for the very simple reason that he didn't like his wings getting soaked. It always took him forever to get them cleaned and straightened out once more. So he had a perfectly good excuse to not like getting wet....He was just silghtly vain about his looks.
Glancing up, he raised a brow and watched as Dark shook the water off his hide. "There is nothing wrong with not wanting to get soaked." He said almost primly, giving a snort after as his counterpart flopped rather ungracefully to the ground infront of him. Eyeing the other male, he tilted one ear back and looked vaguely amused. "Boring? Are you calling me boring?" He asked with an slightly lazy drawl to his voice. There was no malice in his face, nothing to show that he was less than amused. Could Krad actually be teasing? Surely not.

"Course not." He agreed with Krad completely on that bit. There was absolutely nothing wrong with not wanting to get wet. Of course acting like a priss after getting wet was a bit of a downer.
Dark blinked. What was with the face and the voice and the sudden change in words? If this wasn't Krad he was talking to then he would have thought that the other were poking fun at him. Wait was he? He looked and sounded like he was but then looks were extremely deceiving in his case. There was one way...well one good way to test is he was kidding or not, the other would involve almost certain death he was sure. "Yeah I'm calling you boring blondie. What're you gonna do about it?"

Krad sat there and gave the other a long, drawn out look, pondering what to say. He glanced sideways and studied his wings critically, eyes narrowing faintly before looking back to Dark. "Well, I suppose I could chase you right back into that lake." He mused, with that lazily amused look on his face. "Would that be amusing enough for you?" He asked, shaking his mane out and giving Dark a curious look with a tilt of his head.

Dark was on his feet in a heart beat. Sure he'd jumped into the lake willingly but that didn't mean he wanted to be chased back in. That settled it though, Krad, the one he thought of as psychotic, obsessive, demented and likely to rain on his parade whenever he got the chance, was playing in a way. "'Amusing' isn't exactly the word I'd pick." He said backing away from the blond. Playing, teasing, whatever it was being called Dark didn't really care. He wasn't up for another trip into the lake but this was definitely a good change.
"And it's not like you'd be able to anyway. I mean, who gives their plan away just like that?" He asked with a smirk. There was no reason he was gonna back down now.

Krad watched rather unconcerned as the dark winged male scrambled to his feet, looking pleased with himself. And more than a little bit of amusement this time. He was trying, trying being the key word here, to play, to tease the other male. Or at least, start to learn how. After all, if this peace between them was going to last, Krad would have to learn how to unbend a bit.
"Oh? But I think it would be rather fun." He said, smirking and narrowing his eyes at the other male, who was slowly and quite obviously backing away from Krad, even though the blond was still lying down. "And in telling you, you'll expect and watch for it. And that makes the chase more exciting." Krad told the other with a suddenly manic grin, shooting to his feet and advancing towards Dark unexpectedly. But there was no bloodlust or madness glazing his eyes. He was playing still, teasing him. After all, what was an encounter with Dark if it didn't involve at least some sort of contest or chase?
