JastaElf I blush a lot when I write some things. *grins*
But mostly I love writing angsty, bittersweet or sad things... smile Yeah... There are some songs I can hardly listen to without bawling because they remind me of scenes I wrote that I can hardly look at without bawling. I don't know which is worse, blushing or bawling. But both have become such essential emotions to my books...

smile Oh, I think they're both honest emotions. It is very hard to stop a blush, after all, and tears are hard to control as well. So in that regard there's a level of truth to them that can be lacking in others. Be not ashamed! smile
Today, and tomorrow because it's a day off in the US, I will be trying to catch up on my NaNo novel. I'm WAY behind, and if I can't get to 20,000 words today I will probably have to give up for this year.
Gonna go write now... smile

I had a great weekend, but didn't get much done... on days off I always seem to find other things that need doing. Now, in order to not get behind this week, I need to write about 35000 words... Eeep! smile

Well I've moved from writing my main project about demons invading a land to planning out a story about a vampire who is on the side of justice.

Hum. I am going through withdrawl from some of my roleplays at the moment... so I am writing a 7th Sea fanfiction ...
Revising a Harry Potter fanfiction ...
and then there is a Numb3rs fanfiction burning in my brain.
As far as any of my original works ... well, I should be revising a religious fiction I wrote like 2 years ago, since its the only complete thing I have, but I don't know, I'm realizing all these changes and evolutionary goings on with my style, like I read some of my old stuff and I can't write like that ...like its too simplistic or something I don't know... so my original writings are shelved at the moment, as my muse caters to my fanfiction/roleplay stories ....

Hey everyone! I just thought I'd come by and let you all know about my latest fan fiction. It's about a character I created sometime ago and the character itself is about a mix between Castlevania & Rurouni Kenshin (Samurai X). If you feel like it, search for the member called Kenshin Belmont on the community tab and look at his journal. Easy! mrgreen

Arisu_Dilandau Hum. I am going through withdrawl from some of my roleplays at the moment... so I am writing a 7th Sea fanfiction ... LOL! Glad to know I'm not the only one who goes into RPG withdrawl. My favorite campaign is on hiatus right now and we're taking a time-skip when we get back. So I've been writing what my character has been doing during that year off. I posted the first part of it in another thread around here somewhere... Berz.

Today I'm working on finishing a LOTR fanfic for a friend's birthday; it's an offshoot from my fanfic "The Scruff Factor", found here among all my other cruft:
http://www.fanfiction.net/u/187829/JastaElf
The friend wanted a story about a very young Legolas (as mentioned throughout Scruff) visiting Imladris and seeming to fall afoul of the Twins because he (Leggy) has a crush on Arwen. smile My friend doesn't like Aragorn much... smile
I'm also trying to balance writing with costuming as I have only a little over a month to finish all my garb for Anime Boston...

That sounds great Jasta! I'll try and make time to read yer LOTR fanfic. For now, I leave you all with the link to mine. I also have an original story there about sci-fi. I'd love to get some feedback on it as it has no reviews whatsoever. rolleyes

I'm having problems with the way my story flows. Some of my ideas are flowing, but many others are getting stuck in the pipeline. burning_eyes

I completely understand how that feels Mel. I've been having some problems with the way I'm gonna do my next journal entry in the life of Kenshin Belmont. 3nodding

Oh gosh! Stories getting stuck! I think I am forever in that realm... and then I just keep world building, tweaking, and the like.
Actually, I think a discussion with my friend (she is not painter, she is a poet) from the other night I think has blown a little more life into said story that is dust collecting, and has been for years. I keep feeling like this history of the world isn't complete enough for me to write, nor do I believe that I have yet found a story set in that world that doesn't wreak of cliché-fantasy-drippings.
So what am I writing right now? Essays and journal entries. The joy.

I'm writing checks to pay my bills. I think parents need to talk more about this part of growing up, so it doesn't come as this much of a shock. smile
