Helaku relaxed a bit, appearing to accept the compliment, if dubiously. "If you say so..." He paused unsure where to go, what to say now. In the past, he might have invited her to his teepee. It wasn't far, and he could use a relatively safe place to rest after his ordeal. But...his teepee was also his haven, filled with bittersweet memories. He didn't know if he was ready to bring someone new there.

Amara titled her head to the side a little as she watched Helaku in his contemplation. "Silly stallion. Don't think so much about what I said. A compliment is a compliment and that's that." The mare was in a much brighter mood now, almost forgetting the memories that swarmed over her before hand... almost. Dark red eyes watched and waited. "He's probably pretty tired himself." Amara thought to herself. "Better let him go home for the day. He's been through a lot." The dark colored mar took a step forward, enough to try and get Helaku's attention. "Hey. Helaku? You should go back to your tepee for today. You must be tired and you've been through a lot. Get some rest."

Helaku lifted his head to meet Amara's eyes for a moment, and then nodded slightly. "Yeah...I should, shouldn't I?" He was reluctant to move, however. Despite Amara's gender, she was company, refreshing company at that. He knew he needed the rest though. "Don't run into that...creature...on your way home, okay?"

Amara tilted her head slightly in the other direction. "Thanks for your concern Helaku. I can't be sure if I'll run into 'it' on my way home but... I'll do my best to avoid danger." A gentle smile crept over the mare's face. She bent her head down a little to look at the fox that accompanied Helaku. "Make sure Helaku gets home all right, okay Mai? Just come and find me if anything happens." Amara raised her head to look into the stallion's golden brown eyes. "And on that note, don't get yourself in any more trouble for the day. I'm all worried out for the day." Amara chuckled a little. "Have a safe trip home Helaku. Hope to see you soon." Amara approached Helaku just enough to touch his mane and pull it in an affectionate sort of manner. With a gentle turn, Amara slowly began to walk in the other direction. "I wonder when he'll actually start trusting me..." She thought a bit sadly but understood that Helaku just needed more time to sort things out.
