She eyed the girl who stood like a deer in the headlights. "You, talk while I garden. My African violets are gana die if I don't transplant them." She walked off, her summer dress swayed from side to side as she moved. As she knelt in the dirt she motioned to a stone bench next to her, "Come on, I don't bite..." She grinned as she began tenderly tending to her violets.

Tamara walked up to the girl. She knew... she knew what she had to say. There would be no easy way to say it. The news had to be spread, they all had to be warned.

"I am sorry to disturb you, but I have a significant amount of information to give you. Some of which... you may already have. And some... some that I know you probably do not know. It's rather important, and, well... private."

She glanced around, her strawberry-blonde hair flaying about in a disturbingly precise pattern. Finally, she focused her almost too green eyes on the gardening girl. "I know what you can do. And you may be in danger. And I can help. Can we talk in private?"

Kemry laughed hysterically as Erin burst out the door in her gardening ensemble, seemingly startling the girl at her doorstep. An angry Paintbrush, startled and jostled from his comfortable place yowled angrily on the floor, twitching his tail violently in annoyance. Kemry was laughing so hard she failed to notice Erin step out under the sky, her eyes leering, to dispel the strange hovering cloud. Erin had already begun to tend her violets by the time Kemry had regained her quiet control. As she turned back to watch her attention was drawn to the unfamiliar girl, still standing. As she watched the girl glance around, Kemry wondered if she would be seen, watching from the window. Suddenly her face flushed red, and she quickly slid off the window seat onto the floor. Paintbrush, sensing her discomfort, nosed his way under her trembling arm and onto her lap. She stroked the purring cat with a resigned sigh.

“Curiosity killed the cat, Paintbrush. There was something strange about that girl, I mean, I felt something. I felt something waking up.” The small cat chirped, looking her in the eye. She smiled and pulled him up into her arms as she stood.

“No, I didn’t forget the rest. Curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back.” She glanced out the window one last time, the two girls still there, before she turned and walked away.

Noremak saw the collection of people in one garden and, thinking to himself out loud, he said, :Oh man i hope more of those freaky elemental mutants didn’t show up while i was gone."
He personally didn't like the elemental mages, since he was a spiritual one; he had no effect on other people’s lives. He didn't like having the power to hurt or help others under his power too much of a struggle.

User Image She sat back on her heels, tilting her head enough to see from under the wide brim of her hat, her cynical eyes narrowed.

"And you are of authority of this because... Who are you?" She stood, droppi the spade to the ground as she brushed off her knees. "Why are you here? Just to threaten me?" She stood, crossing her arms over her chest, her eyes darkening. "I don't take well to threats, kid."

She leered at her as the skies grew darker and the temperature began to drop along with the air pressure. Her hair was eerily still amidst the wind that began to pick up.

Making a torrent of spiritual energy he started to destroy everything around him. He was too tiered to wait for something exciting to happen. He started to blast in shop fronts, and houses, casinos, and pubs. He was tiered and pissed off at everyone who was making fun of him. He just wanted to kill everything but, his self-control took over and stopped after breaking half of the town.

OOC: Kenshin... I was going to give you three tries, but you've proven that this roleplay is beyond your patience and abilities.

Please remove yourself from it.

Everyone else, please ignore the god-moding attempted destruction of half the town. sweatdrop

"Oh no! Not at all! I am just here to help out! I want to warn everyone about... Oh dear, I... Can I talk to you privately?"

She took a step or two back, looking over her shoulder. Tamara thought to herself, ' Another one? This close? I have to visit that one next.'

Tamara crossed her arms behind her back and looked down a little, hoping to seem less intimidating. Not that she saw herself as intimidating, but apparently this girl thought she was threatening.

User Image She nodded softly, barely a nod at all. She nodded towards her house, "Fine... But if you try anything... if you brought danger to my peace I'll string you up to a tree by your toes and watch as lightening rips the skin from your body. She pulled off her gloves and walked towards her house, the sky brightening, but the chill still lingering like a threat of violence should things go badly.

Once inside she put a kettle on her gas stove, carefully watching as the burner flame jumped into being. "What do you take in your tea?" She asked softly, a clear edge to her voice.

So many peaceful nights to herself... to her training, to her own being and a new one appeared. She didn't like them meddling with her... They tried to control her powers, tried to use them for themselves and she would not let them... Not one. She'd die first... or kill. She took of her hat and hung it from a hook next to the door. "Have you come to tell me of the danger there is in being what I am? Because if you are, you're a few years late..." She glanced at the girl with something like leeriness in her eyes, distrustful on this new girl who infiltrated her little world.

"No... I am quite sure you are good with your abilities. Others are too. I am... but mine are not generally destuctive." Tamara said all of this, but her lips had not moved, and the voice was not heard by anyone else. "I can see magic, and speak directly to those who wield it. There are others out there... others that are the very reason, I think, that we gained our powers. I suppose some could call them devils or demons. I haven't figured out how to permanently banish or destroy them. I'm lucky because they usually attack by magic and I have an uncanny knack for dodging magical attacks."

Tamara switched to normal speech again. "If you don't want to know more, at least I've warned you. My name is Tamara Joan, or TeeJaye for short. If you call for me, I will hear..." She stepped back towards the door, not liking how aggressive this girl was being. Not that she was afraid of any sort of magical attack. She was confident in her ability to simply not be in the place where the attack was. She'd found herself miles away in response to a demon attack before. She didn't know how she did it, it was just instinctive. If only she had some offensive power she would have done better...

User Image The angle of her shoulders relaxed, her eyes softening, knowing that her instinctively aggressive nature was making this girl weary. Erin manipulated the air around the kettle, it began whistling almost instantly. "I apologize." She said softly, taking the kettle, pouring the hot water into a delicate tea pot. "My intention is not to threaten you, or drive you off." She brought the seeping tea to the table with two flower-like tea cups on saucers. "I... am a solitary creature." She sat, folding her slender hands as she looked up to the brave and smart girl before her. "I fear those like me... with powers like mine because there are those that seek to use me for their gain... who would do anything to make me theirs. Hunted. I've always been the hunted, so I hide." She poured tea into both cups, before she stood, collecting the honey, milk, and lemon, setting them on the table. "But you managed to find me and that scares me. What if the others that would kill others to use me find me next?" She sat, wrapping her fingers around the tea cup, letting it's warmth soak into her fingers.

"As far as I know, I am the only one who can sense you from more than a stone's throw away. I've hid from them myself and wondered the same thing. What I want to do... and of course this would be totally voluntary... is to start a network of magicians."

Tamara started pacing as she explained, getting excited. "Once I have touched the mind of a mage, I can find that mage again no matter how far away they are. It would be great if I found a mage who could fly or teleport or something like that so we could assemble quickly, but I haven't so far... so I have been working on a safe haven for mages. It's in the middle of an Indian burial ground. On these grounds there is also a small Christian chapel, a remnant of some missionary's attempt at conversion. I've had willow trees planted and dedicated by practicing Wiccans at the site. This... layered protection makes the whole area both repugnant and invisible to the demons."

She paused then wheeled to face her. "I am not proposing we hide away from them, but we need a safe base of operations if we plan on disposing of the enemy once and for all. I realize this is a lot to absorb, so I will leave you to it. I'm sensing another mage closeby and want to get there before he or she moves on..."

Tamara backed up to the door and curtsied slightly. "You have but to call, but give me a few minutes peace whilst I find the other nearby mage, hmm?"

She paused respectfully in her monologue for a response, not intending to leave until she was acknowledged.
