"Ah I see. Well we just had to give you a little something for Halloween. That doll was too cute to pass by." She moved away from the door, allowing entrance. "Oh what am I doing, keeping you both outside on the doorstep! Come in, come in." She waved inside. "I'll warm up some tea. Unless you want something stronger? Coffee perhaps?"
Shavira nodded politely to Azumi. "Shavi big now!" She grinned and turned to Osso. "Hi! Shavi is Shavi!" She pointed to herself. "Who you?" She turned her head to the side, and Jungie almost slid off. Her snakes stared and blinked up at this new Mishap. Tongues flickered everywhere. This new one looked interesting.

"Tea's fine, thank you," she smiled and walked in through the doorway, trailing in her charge who had re-attached himself to her tail. The werewolf gazed around the room before looking to Kii again,"how have you too been? It's ben so long!"
Osso tilted his head as well, blonde hair falling over his eyes again. "I'm Osso. This is Klaz and Riru," he moved her chin down and to the side to each black gryphon-like imp in turn. He spoke softly, still not sure of the place he was in or the people, but they seemed nice and his mother apparently had met the other woman before. This more reserved shyness was actually not the usual for the bone Mishap, but he had started to act that way towards new people for unknown reasons.
Riru blinked her golden lantern eyes as she stared down at the green snakes and their flicking tongues. Long black eyes twitched and she moved down Osso's arm a bit, tiny claws clinging to the fabric.

"Oooh! Cute!" Shavira bent down and stared at Riru. "Hi! Shavi is Shavi." She stood back up and pointed at her head. "Jungie is Jungie!" She told the little creatures resting on Osso. "Osso wanna play?" She reached out to take Osso's hand and show him her toys in the corner. "Meet Slinky L. Ophi!"
Her snakes began their own inspection of the gryphon-imp-creatures. One bravely stuck out his head and peered at Riru closely.
KiiMeLwi glanced at the two Mishaps before turning away to close the door and find her tea. Setting the water to boil, she searched through her basket of teabags. She had many, since she used them so often to stay awake nowadays. "We've been good. How are you and your...Osso, was it? He's adorable. And I know what you mean. It's unbelieveable how long it has been, yet how short it can feel sometimes. I still cant get over the fact Shavi isn't just a drooling, flailing, magical mistake with snakes growing from her belly." Her sarcasm was just oozing. "But..." She became more serious, selecting a few teas... "of course I love her no matter what. Shavi IS Shavi." She winked and held up the tea. "Earl Grey, Raspberry or Mint?"

Osso looked to the jello looking thing on Shavira's head and didn't even notice that she had already taken his hand from his mother's tail and was leading him futher inside. The boy followed as his curiosity started to grow along with his comfort level. As they moved hollow sockets darted left and right as he looked at the things on the walls and the furniture of the apartment. It was smaller than his house and reminded him of where Len lived.
Riru cocked her head before clinging to the child's shirt as he started moving. Klaz just sat perched in Osso's other hand while eyeing the squishy thing on the girl's head.
"Mint will do, thanks," Azumi smiled and made her way over to Kii. "I still can't believe how much Shavira's grown! She's still as cute as ever, no?" Wine eyes watched the two toddles make their way about the apartment. Everything just seemed to catch their attention which actually made it easier when trying to occupy 'em; no 'but I'm bored' statements.

KiiMeLwi turned her gaze to Shavira as azumi mentioned the small snake girl. She WAS growing fast...and said so. "Couldn't be cuter! Trust me, she tries." She winked and turned back to her teapot. It'd be ready soon enough. "Mint it is!"
Shavira, arriving at her destination, plopped down and urged Osso to do the same. She picked up a stuffed snake, almost half as tall as she, held straight, and practically shoved it in Osso's face, obviously very proud of him. "Slinky L. Ophi! He es mai fay-bor-wit." She struggled with the large word, but soon shrugged it off.
Putting Ophi back in her lap, Shavira handed Osso as many toys she could get her hands on, not wanting him to be bored. Pretty soon, her beanie, her other stuffed snake, her blocks and even her old rattle found their way to Osso's side or lap. She kept Slinky to herself, and grinned broadly at Osso.
Jungie stared back at the tiny creatures crawling over Osso. Blinking and not finding any threats, he wiggled, satisfied, ontop Shavi's orange head.

Osso obediently followed Shavira and sat down before he was swamped in the girl's toys. He took each one and studied it, noting how soft it was and what the toy's figure was. As he took up the rattle he shook it and remembered his own back at home. "I have one! It is red and black and have bones on it!" he spoke proudly while waving the toy around a little.
After putting that down he once more looked at the tongue flicking snakes around the girl. "Snakes?" he asked, pointing to the animals. His guardian has shown him pictures on the computer and in books, he even saw some on TV, but never up close like this.
Klaz squirmed out of Osso's grip and sat atop of one of the blocks near the boy's feet. The tiny animal inspected the wooden object with lamplike eyes before giving a few chirps and clicks.
Black tail swayed behind her as Azumi chuckled before realizing something,"oh, I never answered your first question: We're fine actually, but things do get a little dull around the house. It's nice to come to town though and there are so many new guardians! Everytime I come I meet someone new!"

Having had the snakes pointed out to her, Shavira looked down at her belly. The creatures in question were all staring at Osso and his friend. They always stared at new people. "Mmhmm!" She nodded vigorously. "Snakes! Snakes dont have names yet." She poked one of their heads and he turned to peer at her. "HI!" She petted it some more before grabbing Osso's hand again, and urged him to pet the snake as well. "Snake no bite. Unless you hurt."
The snake glances at Osso's bony finger before wrapping himself around it. Tongue flickering, he inspected Osso.
KiiMeLwi laughed and took out two of her best mugs. She placed them on the table next to her, put the teabag into the teapot and turned back around. "Yes I know what you mean. New children everywhere...and not only that, but the guardians with them! It makes me happy to see people are willing to care for these munchkins." She peered at Osso and Shavira, and nodded. "I might even start to have to insist that guardians wear nametags soon."

The bone child nodded and let the snakes wrap around his hand. Their tiny flickering tongues tickled his black and white skin and made a few laughs fall from the boy's mouth. Carefully he brought his hand out of the snake's coils for a second before stroking one of the green heads. The scales were smooth and glossy, Osso had never felt something like this before.
Riru and Klaz both grew more curious about these free moving green things. Riru skittered over on top of a block and extended her tiny beak towards one of the reptiles as Klaz came up behind her and did the same.
Azumi chuckled once more and brushed a few strands of blonde from her face, though the action was useless since they fell back a second later. "Munchkins, that does pretty much explain them," she replied and looked over to her charge. The werewolf thanked god that her boy got along with others so well, despite the first meet shyness. She was also glad that everyone he has met had been nice as well, though the werewolf couldn't help but be curious as to how Osso would act if someone were to be mean to him....Did all parents wonder that?

((O.O! I could have sworn I made my next entry! Darn. Well, here it is again! Sorry about that!))
The snake being petted leaned into Osso's hand, enjoying the attention. Shavira helped keep the others from getting jealous, and petted them too. "Snake like Osso. Osso like snakes?" She flashed a smile at Osso before going back to her friends.
A snake that was left unscratched and petted turned its attention to Riru and Klaz. They were reaching for him. Hmm. Interesting. He leaned forward, allowing the two creatures access to his nose.
Smiling at Azumi, KiiMeLwi turned to lift the pot and poured tea into both mugs. "There we go. Yes, I'd have to say munchkins would have to be the perfect title. Do you put anything in your tea?" She gestured back towards the kitchen area. "I should have whatever you might want. Should."

(( xD; S'ok))
"Osso like snakes!" Replied he bone child in a more exuberant tone; his shyness finally ebbing away towards these new people. He continued to pet one snake before he remembered something about Shavira saying they didn't have names. How perposterous, all should have names! He thought this snake should have a 'cool' name, something that ment something...But what to call it? Osso thought and thought, becoming silent for a minute or two before cursing himself silently. His mother would know! He always saw her looking at weird books with funny names. "Momma!" he called over to her.
Left ear turned in Osso's direction before Azumi registered she was being called. After replying a, "nope, plain tea is perfect," to Kii, the werewolf turned her head to her charge,"yes dear?"
"What is name for snake?" Osso was now pointing to the snake he had been petting.
Azumi thought for a few seconds, mind going through language files,"well," she finally spoke up, "there's Qing, that means blue-green, then there's Chloris..."
"Osso name snake Chloris?" he had tkane his attention away from his mother and was now asking Shavi. he was actually quiet proud to have pronounced the word correctly, but speach had never been a problem for the boy.
The two gwipples were completely uninterested in whatever their master was talking about. At that moment their attention and curiosity were on the snake as it came closer. Klaz gave a hushed chortle like purr while the golden eyed one, Riru, remained silent but was the first to make contact of snake nose and beak.

KiiMeLwi took a careful sip, and her eyes laughed as she heard Osso give a name to a snake. One of the ones in front, she noted. She must not forget. Chloris...I like it.
Shavira blinked up at Osso and when she finally realized what he meant, she laughed out loud. "Yes! Yes! Osso name Chloris!" She raised her hands up in the air, gleefully. Turning back to the now named snake, she informed him of his new title. "Chloris is Chloris!" She pointed at him, and tiny Chloris flickered his tongue at her. "Ok Chloris?" She petted him fondly.
"Thankie Osso.." She turned a bit shy, but took his hand and shook it as she had seen her mother do with her new friends. (really just business people.) "Shavi did not know how to name Chloris. But Shavi promises to try!" She nodded.
The snake with the gwipples also ignored this naming ceremony, and its entire attention was focused on the two in front of his very nose. Very in front. More like...on. As Riru made contact with his nose, the snake flickered his tongue out, inspecting. Soon he would turn to the other and inspect him as well. So interesting!
KiiMeLwi's ears fluttered as she watched the Mishaps. Shavira always seemed to be able to get along with the other Mishaps, except for that one time she had acted shy. But now she was back to her usual, overly cheerful self, trying hard to make others around her comfortable...but Kii worried. Why had Shavira ever been nervous? Perhaps too many people at once? She sighed and shook it off. No reason to dwell. Not now.
"I'm glad they're getting along so well! Osso is so gentle."

Azumi took a sip of her own tea and turned her attention away from the two kids. Ears perked as they caught Kii's words, "you have no idea how many times I thank god that he is. I couldn't bare scolding him...Has Shavi ever had a problem?" Odd question, not usually asked, but the werewolf was wondering if she cuold get any tips if she ever did have to scold Osso...But she didn't think Shavi could do anything bad, I mean, she was so cheerful and happy.
Osso cocked his head sideways as Shavira shook his hand, but he repeated the action since he had also seen his mother do the same. "Welcome!" He exclaimed happily after letting go of the girl's hand and returning it to his lap, though it was more like the pile of toys on his lap.
Looking around the room with hollow eyes the bone-child tried to find something else to do...Hmmmmm....
Klaz, being the skitterish imp he was, chirped and fell backwards as the thin tongue made contact with him. Riru just gave a >_>; look and went back to sniffing this...interesting creature.

KiiMeLwi grinned and took a sip, trying not to laugh. "No...I don't believe Shavi has had any real problems. But she has tried to get to things not meant for babies before...She's so restless sometimes, I just cannot take my eyes off her sometimes. But so far...I've never had to actually scold her. Either I'm lucky, she's perfect, or I'm doing something wrong." She winced. "Lets hope its one of the first two."
Shavira giggled hysterically, and threw her hands up. "Mister Osso! Wat we do now?" She noticed him looking around, and didn't want him to be bored. She mildly stacked a block on top of another, and stared at Osso.
The snake, its attention now completely absorbed into investigating these...creatures...As one fell backwards, he moved his body over and around Riru to see what it was doing. Seeing that the one he had just crawled around was still sniffing him, he turned back to nudge it with his nose, urging it to do something.

Osso blinked again and then brigtend as he noticed a stack of paper and markers over near a toy chest...or at least that's what the boy thought it was. "Draw! Come with me," it was his turn to lead. Bony hand took hers and he rushed over to the paper and markers, not noticing that as he stood the stuffed animals in his lap toppled and Klaz and Riru rolled on the carpet.
The bone-child plopped down and gave paper to Shavi before spilling markers into a big pile on the floor.
Klaz jittered and Riru glared at the boy before skittering over to where the snakes went. Klaz soon righted himself and followed the golden eyed gwipple until he felt paper cinkle under his claws. What was this? The imp soon started trapsing around on the white stuff in enjoyment.
The werewolf chuckled as she commented,"I doubt you've done anything wrong, Kii." Taking another sip of her tea she hadn't noticed the kids getting into the pens in the corner of the room. "Oh, I've always ment to ask: How did you come to get Shavi?" Azumi had always wondered how the other guardians had gotten their charges, but when the time came she always forgot to ask.

The toy chest was actually just a trunk of Kii's old things, and the paper was...well, paper. Kii, since she was busy talking to azumi, didn't notice anything either. "Well, I hope not." She chuckled, then hrmmed as she considered azumi's question.
"Well, I didn't really do anything special at all. I had heard of the Mishaps, and what they were, and how people could come and offer to take a baby into their care, and of course I felt that every creature in this world deserves a good, happy, full life. I also wanted to be able to do SOMETHING useful in my life. So I made my way down here, thinking to just see what it was all about, and Shavira just happened to be there, all alone...I couldn't help myself. She caught my eye...and my heart & soul. I adopted her as quickly as I could." She sighed to herself, remembering. "What about you and Osso?"
Shavira got up as quickly as she could, jumping awkwardly over the pile of toys that Osso left behind and grabbed Slinky on her way up. Jungie slipped off her head and bounced on the floor several times before coming to a rest next to the toys. He wriggled, shaking off any dizzyness a jelly might feel, and bounded over to where Shavi and Osso were. But he stopped, right when he got to Klaz. What in the world was THAT?
Shavi plopped back down, wrapping Slinky around her neck when they reached the paper. "Oooh! Paper! Osso have goo' idea." She grabbed an orange marker right away and took the paper from Osso. "What Osso draw?"
