Well, I'm a Guangzhouyan (or Guangdongren in Mandarin), which means, yes, I fall into the category of Cantonese. 3nodding
Note: Guangzhouyan is "广东人" in Chinese.

Stupid Simplified script! gonk I think Guangzhouyan is rather "廣州人" actually... xp I'm Hong Kong Cantonese all the way.

I'm cantonese, but i can speak madarin too ^^ My mom is from GuangZhou. My dad is from Hong Kong. I am much more cantonese though. And i go to Hk a lot more. I dont remeber going to Mainland at all xD

I'm probably the only one on Gaia that was born and from Beijing. I speak, read, and write Manderin, and most English. Now I've been in U.S. for a long time and I started to forget how to write some of the Manderin characters.
I believe in the Communist Ideal, and I get slashed in this environment I live in now.

I'm from Beijing ^^. I speak mandarin but I've found if I listen closely, I can understand cantonese no problem~

I'm Mandarin. My grandma is Cantonese so I know some Cantonese. :3 I can understand Cantonese but I dont really know how to talk it out.
