"Um ya. I don't really know what the big deal is but I know relatively enough about Greek gods and goddesses so can i take the test now so i can hurry and save lilly?" zinc looked gloomy and a little depressed "Lilly should have more faith in me. I have read a ton on Greek gods and goddesses so come on."

zinc "I thought the hydra was dead. Killed by Hercules and its head stumps burned so they wouldn't grow back."
Kery grinned the kid was right the hydra had been killed but there might be more that kery didn't know about

charis still lay in the abode of ozzyoditos...she waited for something to happen, in her mind, she was wondering what was going on. 'its only been a week...where is zinc??? he needs my help killing the hydra! i know it!' since charis had 10% of her magic left, she used it to make an empathy link with zinc to be able to actually speak to him. she made the empathy link and... 'ZINC!' charis telepathically contacted him, 'ZINC! can you hear me? its me, char - i mean...ah forget it! listen, just call me charis from now on unless we're in the mortal world. now tell me, what are you doing?'

when zinc got back, he handed the hydra head to ozzyoditos and ozzyoditos did something you could've called strange. he dipped his sword into the hydras head in order to get its blood because it is said that one drop of hydra blood could burn through anything and everything there is. how it couldnt burn through ozzyoditos' weapon, magic maybe. no one really knows. apollo and ozzyoditos kept arguing for some time until charis got up. "stop." she said. her voice couldnt be heard too well since her magic was pretty low, but the two gods heard her. "what's wrong?" she asked, "i heard you two fighting and i knew i needed to do something, but i needed time to heal...whats wrong?"

"hehehe" salan cooed, "i guess my plan didnt work and thinking about going against two gods...out of my league...i will return for the son of poseidon soon, and charis!" salan dropped the sitar and disappeared.
charis was still up. being really tired, she fell over. apollo picked her up and promised zinc that he would heal her. "whenever she would get any wound, it would never be this bad, but only having 5% of her magic left...that is very foolish." apollo used his healing powers to heal charis and she immediately felt good enough to walk around. zinc was so happy that charis was okay, he gave her a big hug. "er..zinc, they can see you!" charis whispered to him. zinc immediately let her go. "what did he want?" ozzyoditos asked. "salan is trying to show the titan lord that he is worthy of joining him." charis explained, "he wants to do anything that no demigod would ever do in order to gain the titan lords trust. we have to stop him, but he is mainly after zinc so he needs a lot of training first and he needs to do some quests." zinc looked at her and asked, "but what about the - "
"the hydra was brought back to life because monsters cannot die. they can be killed, but they can be brought back 1000 years later. because of western civilization." charis explained to zinc.
ozzyoditos explained what zinc needed to know to him. then zinc understood what he needed to do. he was to kill any monsters he could find in the mortal world, find out about his past and stay away from kronos.

"WOAH THERE!" charis boomed, "he has to beat the titan lord right now and he barely has ANY training? thats - unreasonable! and i mean no offense ozzyoditos, THAT is a pretty bad deal ya got there! zinc can't just go on and fight my grandfather NOW! its like telling a student to make a formula without explaining ANYTHING to them! i understand you're a god and all, but this - is RIDICULOUS! i am sorry to say." ozzyoditos looked angry, like he wanted to burn charis, but then he calmed down. "i understand. so you are saying that we should just do nothing?"
"NO! he needs to learn what he is up against!"
"but YOU taught him the myths."
"thats not what i mean! he needs to look into the detail of the titan lord more, learn his weaknesses, find out his skills as a warrior, and more importantly, zinc needs to be able to control all of his powers!"
"i suppose, you have a point, charis. you will train zinc in the ways of water and help him control his powers."
"but, you said he could bring 3 friends on his quset, you let him bring your next warrior, he needs to bring two more people."
"let zinc choose who he wants to bring. so zinc, who else will you bring, that is, if you want to bring anyone else?"

as the four of them left, charis did in fact, have a little talk with zinc. "zinc," charis began, "i think you need help, MAJOR help." "what do you mean?" he asked.
"i mean, YOU NEED TO STAY AWAY FROM NEGATIVITY!"
"say what?"
"okay. zinc, you shouldnt feel depressed, or sad, or anything like that! try to stay away from those emotions as much as possible!"
"why?"
charis looked pale. "the titan lord, being my mothers father, wants to destroy olympus and i dont want that to happen because the olympians saved my life. he will try to get you to join him at all costs...and - he will use your fatal flaw against you, just as he had done me..." there were tears in charis' eyes, so she wiped them away.
"what do you mean?" zinc asked, "i remember what a fatal flaw is, a heros flaw that can be used against them, like a weakness."
"exactly, both me and my grandfather have found your fatal flaw and fortunately, we have the same falw so we can help one another out control our flaws."
"then, whats our flaw?"
"personal loyalty, being unable to resist protecting those precious to you, meaning you'd do anything for your friends."
"but my friends - "
charis interrupted him. "the flaws that are the hardest to control are the ones that are the ones that make us feel positive, like my mother's fatal flaw of over-confidence. she believed she could do anything if she put all she had into it, winds up thats what made her such a good fighter and that also made her able to control her flaw. she always put so much heart into being bad at what she was doing, that she would be sucessful in her missions."
"that seems hard."
"i was once able to defy my flaw, but that just got someone precious to me killed." she held her white paw pendant.
"what happened?" zinc asked.
"i was trying to get a group of half-bloods from texas, i camaflouged as a 5th grader, but suddenly, we were attacked by 3 of kronos' minions. they had my companion albin, son of athena and albino fox, as a hostage. about him being a fox, i'll explain later. the titan lord knew my fatal flaw and so did i. i had no other choice but to save albin. i beat the three warriors, but suddenly, kronos took control of the most powerful of the 3 warriors and choked albin. he said that if i would join him, he would let albin go. after a long time of frantic thinking, i said no and - " charis tried to hold back the tears, but she was crying through her speech, "he dropped albin in a way that would break his spine. the 3 warriors disappeared and albin the little albino fox was dying in my arms! he said that i made the right choice, but i regretted myself. then he started to fade away and soon, he completely disappeared and all that was left of him was his paw!" she grabbed her necklace and cried her guts out. she put her face in her knees and cried. okay...as i said, i have less time to type these things thanks to middle school...so...i have less time on gaia... sweatdrop
