I personally don't use those terms, and I'd find it offensive if I were called those terms on a daily basis. But once in a joking manner, I wouldn't mind.

It's very offensive, and used only to denigrate women. In fact, all words used associated with women are the worst things you can call a man.

Without common definition and understanding of each others culture, we can get into big problems, fights, arguments, anger, and war. We need to establish more when it is right to call eachother these names. Places like school are not right because there are so many cultures and thinking patterns going on at once. Especially if they are yelled at eachother. Consideration for eachother in public places is what it boils down to. If you call someone else a bit..., ho, or n---gr in public, then you should be willing to be called that by anyone else who chooses to call you that. We use "love' in many ways, but we all understand when "love' really means like a lot, or something like that. But if we are not part of the culture that uses the words we are speaking about, we may think that this is something that is ok to call people, and do so. Personally I think that it is low class, and shows personal disrespect. I don't like to hear it in the halls, it makes me sad that women think so little of themselves, and allow them to be disrespected. Why should I have to hear that? This is why we as a society make decisions when it is ok and how it is ok to act when in public. Chaos would otherwise rule, and we would fight all the time, and eventually the civilization would end up the stronger would brutalize the weaker even more than the various classes do already. Sometimes we need to realize that we are all in this together, and can't always have it our own way.

Well, I think that it is perfectly ok, I mean, who are we to say that someone has to say "I Love You." To say I love you?I personally call my friends names like that all the time, and we love it!!

Ok, this is just my opinion. I think when they use it as a term of endearment, they know they are just messing around. When they decide to insult someone. Self-explanatory.

Pirri It's very offensive, and used only to denigrate women. In fact, all words used associated with women are the worst things you can call a man. I argue against this, I am called a man whore, and b***h xD and yet I am male. Girls use it as endearing terms while Guys use it as a " Nice!" kinda thing. If you re using these words with the intent of insulting, yes i will get mad, if you re using it in an endearing way, and we are friends then im happy about it. Not all these words are used to offend women.

Words that mean something offensive are still offensive if they are used as a friendly greeting. This sort of thing can be misinterpreted so easily that, regardless of whether or not it's right, it's best not to use it.
