Grym laughs softly and shakes his head, thumping Lexenos on the back lightly. "Lighten up a little bit man! You don't need to apologize for anything. Having a few weaknesses here and there let you know that you're human, and that you're alive."

Lexenos face takes on a barely noticeable pink tinge. He takes a sip of his gin and tonic and mumbles something that sounds suspiciously like "thank you" into the drink. "Do you think that morpher Lee will show up?" Lexenos says a little louder.

Grym smiles and shrugs slowly, draining the last of the water from his glass before placing it back on the bar. "I don't know Lexenos, but I know something that'll help you relax. Tom, get me two shots of Devil's Rage down here, as well as a couple of glasses of water for afterwards." The bartender grins as he reaches under the bar, pulling a small bottle of bright red liquid from the shelf underneath before popping the cork out of the bottle and pouring the liquid into two shot glasses, bringing them over at the same time as the two glasses of water. He winks at Lexenos as he places the shot in front of the other male. "Good luck kid. Only guy I know who's ever stayed on his feet after drinking a shot of Devil's Rage is ol' Grym there." Grym laughs softly as he shakes his head, leaning on the bar as he picks up his shot glass, raising it in a toast. "To a successful journey, a bountiful reward, and one hell of a time!"

Walking through the town, Xesia looked around nervously. Never having been to a tavern before, she didn't know which one to go to, or what to do when she went in. Picking a random one, she went in, looking for silver eyes. It would stand out more than hair color. She saw two men at the bar, but couldn't see their faces. Other people were around the tavern as well. Standing off to the side of the doorway, she looked around, adjusting her glasses now and then.

"To a successful journey, a bountiful reward, and one hell of a time!" Lexenos said, repeating Grym's words, while thinking "This will be interesting." Lexenos finishes off the stuff with one swig. "Well that wasn't so--" Lexenos suddenly falls off his bar seat.

Grym laughs loudly as he drains his own in one gulp, reaching down and helping Lexenos back up. "Got quite a kick doesn't it? It's something I cooked up a few years ago when I started finding every other drink too tame. It's got spices from every continent, extremely rare liquor, and a kick that could tip a cow!"

Lexenos had to make a few grabs at Grym's hand because his eyes were a little out of focus. "Whoo, that hit me like a frickin train," Lexenos said as he felt around behind him for his chair.

Grym chuckles and shakes his head slowly. "Yeah, I remember the first time I tried it, right after I made it. Ended up flat on my back in a snowdrift for three hours, just trying to make my eyes focus."

Lexenos shakes his head, trying to get rid of at least a little bit of the fuzz out. "Three hours, huh? Wish I had cool drinking stories like that." Lexenos rubs his eyes, which fails to unblur his vision in even the slightest. "You know what? No more alcohol for me tonight."

Grym chuckles as he drops a red tablet into each of the glasses of water before sliding one to Lexenos. "Something I developed after I invented the drink. It helps to get your body recovered from the kick of the drink. It has all kinds of natural medicines and painkillers in it. I've found it also helps to keep your body from rejecting the drink."

Lexenos takes a sip and his vision clears almost immediately. Lexenos takes another gulp and says, "Wow. You're good with mixing stuff. Can you do poisons?"

Grym chuckles softly as he reaches into his cloak, pulling a small card from one of the many pockets. He holds it up, showing the symbol etched onto the surface. "An alchemy card. The recipes on the card show up when an alchemist uses a specific type of mixture on it. This one's one of my own design, it shows the recipe when I channel my power through it. This particular recipe is for a much more potent version of the Devil's Rage. In anything larger then a teaspoon, it can knock a fully grown man unconscious. Trust me, I've tried it. It's as good as poison in the right hands. I just prefer to give my enemies a painless death."

(I don't know Lex, but I hope so. If they don't then it really doesn't matter, I'll work it out somehow. If there's anything I've learned while RPing, it's that improvisation is a must when you're running an RP.)

Well, I've run out of conversation ideas, so I'd rather not play unless: A) somebody shows up or B) we move on with the story line.
*sigh* I'd like to apologize, but there's nothing for me to apologize for and I'm trying to stop apologizing for everything.
