" Are you sure?" Looking slightly worried for a moment, Peony calmed slowly leaning againist Nacio gently. Closing her eyes, the mare returned the gently nuzzle as she smiled. " Your right our flowers will be fine, with sure a protector nothing will ever happen to them. You are good to me Nacio thank you" Letting her eyes drift open again, Peony turned her head slowly gazing out ovr the land before them.

Vidia had moved around behind the couple, making a gagging face at their lovey-dovey act. She would never understand how adults could make those kind of eyes and not fear about cooties! Boys have cooties, but her Uncle Nacio didn't. She took a mouthful of his yellow tail and tugged on it, speaking around the hair in her mouth. "'m ford (Translation: I'm bored)." She gave another tug before letting go as he yelp.
Nacio had pushed himself up off the ground at the pain she caused him in his tail. She had a sheepish grin to Peony before he shrank down to Vidia's size and turned around on her. "I'm gonna get'cha," he said as he stalked a step closer to the filly.
She bolted away from him, picking up that this was a game of tag and giggled as she dodged him. She turned around and watched Nacio tap a hoof on Peony's flank saying loud enough, "Peony's it!"

Laughing softly, Peony turned glancing over to Nacio starting off as if she were going to chase after him. Stepping closer Peony smiled then turned quickly starting in a lazy gallop towards Vidia. " Oh I'm not going to be it for long little one" Smirking Peony neared Vidia a soft smile spread across her lips.

The red and tan filly looked behind her and saw that the pink mare, what had Uncle Nacio called her, Peony, moving close to her. She dug her little hooves into the ground with a giggle. "You can't catch me, you can't catch me."
The flutter made sure to stay as far away from both of them as possible, but kept a careful eye on his girls. He smiled to himself at that thought. Maybe they would have all girls like Tawali and Ever.
Vidia felt Peony's muzzle brush against her fur. She tried to execute one of the running moves her mother had taught her, slamming all four hooves in one place to make a quick turn. She got tangled in her own legs and ended up tumbling on the ground. She laid there stunned for a few moments as Nacio came closer to them. Before long large tears started to well up in her cyan eyes.

" Shhh your fine little one you just got tangled up" Cooing gently to calm Vidia, Peony gently leaned down using her nuzzle to gently pushing Vidia up a it. "Come shh sweet little one if you uncle see's you crying he'll tell you mother then you won't be able to go out and play"

Nacio wrinkled his nose when he saw that his charge was in tears. He felt so helpless whenever she cried. He was so thrilled when Peony stepped in with a calming manner. "See, I told you," he said as Vidia scrubbed her face with a leg.
She pushed herself up off the ground and turned those cyan eyes on him. "Unkie, you're not going to tell Mama, are you?" Tears started to form again as she asked the question.
"And be cooped up at home, oh no. I don't want to get myself grounded as well." He looked at the sky and saw that the sun had moved towards the afternoon sky. "But you are expected to be home before dark." He emphasized on the "you" to hint to Peony. He saw the filly make a face as if to make a rebuttal. "Mother's orders."
That was so not fair of Uncle Nacio to step in and actually be an adult. Sometimes she forgot that he was older than her and could be bigger too. She stomped away towards home, giving him enough time to move closer to the pink mare.
"I'll fly back to you after I drop her off with Ever," he said quietly as he grew slowly to his normal size. He looked deep into her eyes and smiled softly. "I love you. Wait for me, please?" He tore his gaze away from hers to glance at Vidia. She was moving further away. "I better catch up," he said. He planted a very horse-like kiss on her cheek and ran to catch her.

" I'll wait, my love but try not to take to long" Smiling softlty, Peony laid down were she was. Glancing down at the medium length grass around, laying there in grass she turned her head slightly watching Nacio go a soft sigh escaping her. Closing her eyes for a moment Peony relaxed slowly almost as if she were asleep, but truely she was just listening to the soft sounds of the world around her. This day was the best so far she could remember in a long time, seeing Nacio again the love the beauty around her.
