House chuckled slightly, "Whatever you say, Jimmy." He started up his bike, enjoying the sound as it roared to life. He started off at an even speed, going slower then normal to help Wilson adjust. But soon after, his mischevious nature kicked in.

He began to pick up speed as they passed inbetween the traffic that presented itself. He almost hoped that Jimmy would hold on tighter, squeeze him slightly. He quickly shaked the thought from his head.

At first, Wilson seemed fine when House began to drive. He was going at a pace that holding on lightly served as enough to keep him steady. A smiled grew across his face, this was not so bad. Apart of him found some excitement in all of this. Then he heard something roar, he looked over to see Houses hand tugging the handle closer to his body. Knowing what was in store, his eyes grew wide. Once the bike gained speed, his arms grasped tightly around Houses mid-section. They wrapped far enough that Wilson's hands were holding a grip on his arms. His head then buried into Houses shoulder blades, eyes clenched tightly together.

A sudden warmth rushed over him, his cheek absorbing Houses body heat from his back. He could hear Houses breathing with his ear pressed to his lungs. The scent of leather and his friends own unique scent filled his airways, slowly calming him. It was amazing how much detail could be described when his eyes no longer possessed a sense. His brown eyes began to open, just slightly enough to see a blur of colors rushing by. His heart was pounding, how gay must this have looked? Now he was practically embracing his best friend and actually feeling the astonishing senses that came with it. He had never noticed how alluring House smelt and what was worse, was that it was making him feel relaxed. Was this what girls felt like when they held onto their boyfriend as they rode? He wondered why that feeling was applying to him, it began to worry him.

Opening his eyes fully now, he looked around, seeing everything. Though now, nothing was cut off by glass and metal. Everything that surrounded them was thriving, much more alive, he could touch the trees if he wanted to. Something about it felt free and things were more beautiful than he had recalled. Was this what House felt when he drove this thing, or did he just like appearing like a young rebel teenager? Either way, House must have felt this too. Wilson forgot that his head was still against Houses back, feeling his heart beat and his lungs breathe. Too bad this feeling was considered gay, because he was really enjoying himself. Maybe House would just figure he was terrified, with that thought he didn’t move from his spot.

Was it wrong that he enjoyed Wilson's grip around him? No, House said to himself, it was perfectly natural for a human to enjoy touch. Was it wrong that it excited him? That House couldn't answer, Jimmy was his only true friend, he didn't want to mess up the only good thing in his life right now. He knew they were approaching the resturant but he didn't want the ride to end. Yet it would probably be a relief for Jimmy to get off of this bike and onto solid ground again.

House enjoyed the last few miles, watching the sights rush by, the grip of his best friend, and the wind in his face. He slowed and pulled to the curb, slightly disappointed, but reminded himself that there would be a ride back. He took off his helmet and waited for Wilson to get off as he pulled on a smirk to greet him with. Of course it was one of House's many masks. "Well, Jimmy, I would ask if it was as good for you as it was for me but I think I already know the answer."

At some point, Wilson had closed his eyes again, resting against Houses back. They opened once he felt the bike slowly decreasing in speed. He looked around to see where they were, in front of some cafe foreign to him. Mainly, he was disappointed that the ride had come to an end. House came to a stop and Wilson's grip loosened to remove the helmet. After unclasping the clamps, he pulled the helmet off his head. He could feel his hair pulling with the helmet. His eyes showed disappointment, knowing his hair was going to look awful. Preparing himself, he took the helmet off and et it on the bike.

"Of course we do, I was scared out of my mind." he replied.

He was just nervous, nervous that House may think he was playing for the opposite team. Sure he was scared at first, but the ride was amazing in the end. Plus, something else made it enjoyable, a thought that was shook out of his head immediately. He looked up at House. His hair was messed up slightly, strands sticking out all over. Though he figured he looked bad, it actually gave him a nice unkept look. Even if it was the popular style, he would have found it horrendous. After a few moments of silence, he smiled and got to hiss feet next to House.

"But it was better then I expected." he replied before starting to walk toward the cafe.

House laughed slightly, getting a kick out of Wilson's answer. "I knew you'd like it..." He muttered. He got off the bike slowly, his leg was stiff and as he shifted wieght to it, a searing pain was shot up his leg. House grimaced, thankfully Jimmy was already heading towards the resturant. He reached for his cane, which was resting in the holder that was on the bike.

He leaned heavily upon the cane breathing out slowly, "I'll meet you in there in a second Jimmy, get us seats." He spoke up, hoping Wilson would hear him. House reached into his side bag and pulled out a bottle. It would be at least his fifth and sixth vicodin today but it didn't truely bother him. House knew he was addicted, he had a very addictive personality. He popped the pills into his mouth and tilted his head slightly to swallow.

Wilson ran a hand through his hair, hoping to fix the mess sitting on his crown. After a few good motions, he continued to walk normally, that is until he heard House calling from behind him. Turning, his eyes looked grief ridden as he watched his friend leaning on his cane. He sighed to himself before nodded to House and continuing to walk on into the cafe. He flet for House, though he knew that the pills were more an addiction then a true help for his pain. Though House never did anything harmful to society, if anything he served to society, so it could be worse. The only problem was that he was hurting himself.

Walking in, Wilson was surrounded by light murmurs from occurring conversations around him. It was a quiet place, which was surprising since he was suspected to be taken to a sports bar somewhere. Of course it was nothing romantic, just less smoky and dark. He approached the host and requested two seats. The man did not ask any questions as he grabbed two menus and lead Wilson to a table. As they stopped at the table, Wilson looked at the man.

"Oh, my friend has a cane-" he began as he seated himself before the man cut him off.

"Oh, you want me to get assistance?" he asked.

"No, just so you know where to point him." he replied.

The man nodded before heading back to the post. Wilson began to screen through the menu. A strange thought came to him though, House had been calling him Jimmy all day, ever since he came to work to be literal. Normally House would not use any names or just call him Wilson, but today was nothing other then Jimmy. He pondered on this as he scanned over the drink list.

House breathed deeply as he closed his eyes to work through the pain. He hobbled to the entrance and when he got to the man at the front he offered to assist him to his seat. House glared at the man until he backed away. The man simply pointed him in the direction of Wilson. House angrily hobbled over to Wilson.

"Do you believe the audacity of some people?" He said with a growl, he pulled out his seat and ploped himself down. There was a slight wince as he hit the seat. " 'May I help you to your seat sir?' I mean honestly, can you believe it?!" He rolled his eyes, "Does it look like I need help to you?" He regretted asking the question right away, he was nearly afraid of what Wilson would reply. He, of course, clouded his regret with anger.

Wilson moved his menu down to glance at House, who was fuming before he even got in his seat. When House sat himself down and winced after complaining about not needing help, the irony brought the menu back over Wilsons face so he could hide the chuckling smile. He did not vocalize the chuckle, since he was biting his lip to refrain any sound. Once he calmed down was about the time House asked him a rhetorical question. The menu tilted again as he looked at House, he needed help, but not help in walking.

"I told him you would be fine and to just point you to me, guess he didn't hear me correctly." he replied.

He knew House needed some help to save his own hide, but it still could be worse. That thought seemed to come repeatedly now, but he tried to think of other things. The ride here was not one of them, when he did think of it, a voice in his head taunted him for being gay. So he thought about what he was going to order. Even though he wanted to unwind with an alcoholic drink, he knew better of drinking those before he went to work. It sort of ruined the joke he was going to use about House not being able to drink since he would be driving.

House calmed down after a moment and picked up his own menu, deciding not to reply to Wilson. He always had a feeling that Wilson pitied him, it both infuriated and amused him. He tried to get his mind off the thought by looking for what he would like to eat but he already knew. He would get his regular. He set the menu down in slight aggravation and turned his frustrated eyes up to Wilson. The blue eyes had clouded over in their anger and confusion.

"Why?" He asked while looking at Wilson, "Why do you hang out with me?" His frown was a clue to his seriousness. "Is it because you actually like me?" He said while his stare was becoming more frustrated. He wasn't frustrated with Wilson, although it was going to come off that way.

Wilson debated which of the specials he was going to choose, they only had a certain amount of time for lunch before they had to head back. But his eyes stopped as he heard Houses question. The why caused his eyes to gaze up at House, placing the menu down in front of him. It still remained in his hands, though he started to look a bit uncomfortable as House continued with this questions. His friends frown showed him that he was being completely serious. But all he could do was laugh slightly, shaking his head, hard to believe this was being discussed.

Though he wondered did think about how much he did care for him. They had been through so much and it was never a cake walk. But for some reason, they would always come back to each other, no matter who was at fault. Something about him just kept him coming back, he was not sure what it was though. Apart of him told him why, but he refused to believe it. Now ti was just a matter on how he was going answer House. His eyes glanced up at House, his dark eyes warming as he met the chills of his blue.

"House..of course I like you. Trust me when I say I wouldn't hang with someone I didn't like." he replied, setting the menu on the table, assuming he would have continued his questioning.

House sighed, "Oh right, your telling me that you've never dealt with someone you didn't like so you could get something. Everyone has one friend that they don't like Wilson..." He laughed to himself, as he set his menu down. House drummed his fingers on the table, he didn't really like getting serious but usually he had a reason to. The man came to take his order but one look from House made the man back away.

"Well whatever your looking for in this relationship I don't get." House looked at Wilson but soon looked away. "You know I'm bad for you, your parents would never approve." He said ending the serious conversation with a joke.

"Yes, that friend is Dr. Kurt from Radiology." he stated with a smirk.

It was a light joke, but enough to hopefully lighten the mood. For some reason, House was very serious. And not serious of a patient, but about him. This day was off from the start. He felt for the man that was scared off by Houses chilling glance, even if something about it excited him. He shook his head, the gay voice was mocking him again. He set his menu aside, figuring it would be awhile before they actually got their food.

"Well I have been known to rebel at times." he joked, continuing with being serious. "House..I like you for you, what has gotten you so serious today?" he asked, now becoming serious himself.

House went quiet for a while, it didn't seem as though he wasn't going to answer Wilson. He twidled his thumbs and looked down for a while before bringing his clouded blue eyes up to look at the man across from him. He looked away again, as if looking for the man he had scared off. But he couldn't help but to look back at Wilson.

"I may be..." He ran a hand through his hair as he looked down again. "What I mean to say...." He stopped, his eyes looked worried. "I might have cancer." He said, although in his mind he knew he would burn in hell for messing with Wilson like this. "I didn't want to tell you, so I thought I would try to make this a good day before I told you the news."

Wilson stared at him, not buying it for a second. He wore sometimes if House was not a doctor he would have gone into acting school and become bigger then Brad Pitt. It was convincing, but he had done this before with his claim to get surgery in the brain, just to get a fix. He was not going to by it unless House proved it to him.

"House..you know that's too cynical, even for you. If I recall, you also had cancer a few months ago when you attempted for brain surgery." he stated.

He still refused to pick up the menu until House told him what was wrong. This whole day was strange, mainly because it was too perfect. House actually calling him a name rather then nothing at all, the pleasant ride to a decent cafe and House actually questioning his like for him. All of it was too strange, it may have not been cancer, but there was something wrong.

"Seriously House...what's wrong?" he asked again, his eyes softening hoping House would be honest with him.

A frown came a cross his face and he shook his head slightly. "Look, I'm not always an uncaring b*****d, I occasionally need reasurance from others to make sure I'm still cared about for something other then my mind." He kept his frown but it turned into something a bit more angry. He stared at Jimmy, House did not like admitting to weakness but there was something about Wilson's eyes but it didn't make him any happier to admit to it.

"Are you happy? Huh, Wilson?" His blue eyes bore holes through Wilson. "I'm not even hungry anymore," He muttered, "You can go ahead and order whatever you like, I'm going to go outside for some air." House struggled slightly to get to his feet as he reached for his cane.
