Lorraine laughed. She had to admit, just imagining it was funny, but actually seeing it would be hilarious. "Well it wont be too long now before you can do that dare." She said between giggles. Was it wrong to laugh about some one you didn't know?

"I'll have to remember it. There's still a few months I believe, so hopefully by then I won't forget." He let out another chuckle before shaking his head. "What do you plan to do by the time winter comes? I've heard some Soquili seek out warmer places and move away from these lands for a while. I doubt I could just up and leave like that. Though if it gets too cold I might have to find myself a nice cave to stay in."

"I'm not sure really what I would do. Probably somthing similar?" She said to him and some what to her self. Now that she thought about it..she didnt have a place to go. But she was sure she could find shelter so it didn't bother her too much."I know I wouldn't go some were warmer. If I wanted to to that I'd better get going cause by the time I got there the snow'd be almost here and then Id have to start back because spring would be on the way. No i think I like theese lands just fine."

Yiska chuckled. Mostly to himself. "That would kind of suck. Going on a long journey to somewhere only to have to turn around and head back once you got there. Yea, I think staying here would probably be the better idea."

Lorraine nodded. They had been talking for a verry long time and it was a nice change for her. She Looked up and couldnt belive that she had been talking to him all day. She felt special. The sun had moved higher telling her it was now noon-evening. "I cant belive we have been talking for such a long time. Can you? I guess time flies when your having fun." She said smiling to Yiska. She stood up and shook her fur to rid it of any debris. "Should we strech our legs a bit and go to the brook?"

Scrambling to his hooves, Yiska gave his body a quick shake. Getting rid of any leaves or pieces of grass that had decided to make a home on him. After giving himself a good look over to make sure nothing was left, he glanced back over to Lorraine. "Seems we have been talking for quite a while."
With a little flick of his curly tail, he nosed her cheek lightly. "I guess you've just caught my interest." Flashing her a playful smile, he started to walk. Stopping briefly so that she could walk with him. "Sure, why not. Staying in one place can get a bit droll every now and then."

Lorraine blushed at his comment and couldn't help feel giddy. Or was he just playing? Oh well, she didn't care. "Oh and how have I cought your interest?" She returned his playfull smile with one of her own as she now walked beside him.
She nodded a his next words. "True it can be. But with company such as yours it doesn't happen to quickly." She flicked the biting flys away with her shaggy tail, and though she didn't really like it she couldn't wait for winter. That meant no bugs.

"Well, you know how to hold a decent conversation and keep it going without letting it die. Your thoughtful and think things through with a clear mind. And those aren't the only reasons, but you'll have to figure out the rest on your own." He chuckled as he gave her a teasing grin. It was true though, Lorraine had indeed caught and kept his interest better than any other mare had in the past. And he didn't feel as nervous around her. Perhaps it was because he had this conversation with her that made it so.
Nodding his head, his grin faded into a charming smile. "I could say the same about your company as well."

"Your really nice Yiska." She said as she turned her head to look at him. "Your really easy to talk to and I don't fee lintimidated by you like I some times do with other Soquili." She gave him a soft and greatfull smile. "Thank you, I'm really glad we met today, because now I have a really great friend to talk to."
Lorraine took a deep breath of the fresh surrounding air. The smell of the changing leaves, grasses, and woods filled her nose with such comfort. It wasn't exactly a safe place from Kalona's but one could quickly dart into the thick forests if needed.

Yiska gave a deep rumble of a chuckle as he listened to her and walked along. "Your really nice yourself. All the mares I've met so far had either been oppressive or depressing. Not really an award winning combination to work with." His ears twitched lightly as he cantered a bit before returning to a normal walk.
He wasn't too sure how far away the brook was. But he would enjoy his walk to there with Lorraine as much he could. The cool breeze brushed past him, causing the feathers attached to his ear to flutter gently.

"Well, it sounds like you needed a good change." She laughed a bit as they came upon the shalow brook. The soft trickling met her ears and the small silvery fish swam away as her front hooves went into the cool water. She watched the water make its way around her hooves before putting her muzzle into the brook.
Lorraine brought her head back up and perked her ears up, looking intently at their surroundings. The leaves had now been slowly turning into fall collors and falling from the trees. She turned her head in the direction of rustling just in time to see a small red fox slip into the tall grasses.

"Sshyea. Tell me about it. But its been a good change the way I see it." As they reached the brook, Yiska look a few steps into the water. Letting the cool liquid rush over his hooves and what bits of lower leg it could reach. Its not as if his hooves ached from walking, just a nice feeling really.
Light green eyes wandered from tree to tree. How odd this season seemed. Where there once was lush green, small patches of brown now replaced the tender spring leaves and grass. Surely this was a time of change. Not only in the seasons but in his life as well. He was getting older and learning new things all the time.

"Well I'm glad it was a good change. Well I mean if those are the only mares you seem to run into things must be verry dull and at some points frightenning." Lorraine smiled and nudged him with her nose then a bit damp from the water.
"The tree's look pretty don't they? I think I like this weather. Its not as hot as the summer or as cold as the winter." The thought of the bitter coldness actually made the mare involontarily shudder. She giggled. "I guess its kind of like spring time. Except more dry." She lightly tossed her bangs from infront of her eyes so she was not blinded with them and took another drink from the brook.

"Yea, well. I'm glad too. It seems like I had nothing but bad luck then. I'm sure my brother and sister would of laughed at me for it. But whatever. They wouldn't know unless they experienced that themselves." The area of skin she had touched with her wet nose shivered lightly. Cold water was nice, yea. But there was only so much he could take at once.
Dipping his muzzle into the water, he took a quick drink before lifting his head again. Glancing at their surroundings once again. "Yea. They are pretty. Depressing though that once winter hits the majority of them will be bare. But I could probably list a thousand things that are prettier than changing leaves..." As the water dripped from his nose, he let out a grin before lifting a leg and sending a small splash of water her way.

Lorraine brought her head up as she felt the splash of wather on her face and smirked. A bit of water dripped from her mane but she took no notice. "athousand things prettier? That many?" She splashed some water in his direction and pranced away from the brook and Yiska, not wanting splashed again. "Even when the tree's are bare, when theyre covered in ice cicles and snow they look pretty. But thats just somthing you will have to decide for your self."
