it is becomeing exceedingly common in this thread as to who is an idigo child.whoever said it alredy, you beat me to the thread. this seems an elaborate way(elaborate to silly people) to trick silly people into thinking there special.

Quote:
You scored 70 Generation and 68 The Checklist!
You were born in the right generation and scored very high on the checklist criteria. Chances are you're an indigo child! I probably don't have to tell you much about what that means, because you're driven and have a passion to do something important in this world. You were born with purpose. I hope you like the results, many indigos seem to find solace in finally knowing why they are different from the general population and in knowing they are not completely alone.

My test tracked 2 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender:

You scored higher than 99% on Generation

You scored higher than 99% on The Checklist

i have one thing to say to this website.
you sir, are full of s**t.

note: the phrase 'silly people' is used to constitute the phrase 'dumb a** mother f**kers' in the nicest way possible.

Here is a list of Characteristics I found. Only problem is that these describe a lot of people.

# Have strong self esteem, connection to source

# Know they belong here until they are told otherwise

# Have an obvious sense of self

# Have difficulty with discipline and authority

# Refuse to follow orders or directions

# Find it torture to waiting in lines, lack patience

# Get frustrated by ritual-oriented systems that require little creativity

# Often see better ways of doing thing at home and at school

# Are mostly nonconformists

# Do not respond to guilt trips, want good reasons

# Get bored rather easily with assigned tasks

# Are rather creative

# Are easily distractible, can do many things at once

# Display strong intuition

# Have strong empathy for others or NO empathy

# Develop abstract thinking very young

# Are gifted and/or talented, highly intelligent

# Are often identified or suspected of having ADD or ADHD, but can focus when they want to

# Are talented daydreamers and visionaries

# Have very old, deep, wise looking eyes

# Have spiritual intelligence and/or psychic skills

# Often express anger outwardly rather than inwardly and may have trouble with rage

----------------------------------------------------------------

I think that I can agree with about 20 of these about myself. Still isn't a very good list.

These are positive characteristics anyone would wish to assign to themselves. It's not a test determining these characteristics, it's a test asking you if these apply. In other words, anyone with enough confidence would say "Yes, this is me!" It's a complete load of shitballs, a crock of ********.

The only way these tests would even BEGIN to look like a psychological evaluation would to be having a psychologist conduct a series of unrelated questions to determine if each of these traits were true.

I honestly don't believe in indigo people. The definition seems to fit almost everyone to a certain extent. I think it's all a lot of fluff crap.
PostPosted: Tue Aug 14, 2007 8:42 pm

defining it as a template is complete bull. That could apply to anyone you're right. The whole indigo thing is totally filled with lies and probably some truth, but that is swimming in the gravy of lies and Sugar

Why would I lie about my describing characteristics? Honestly, I don't believe in Indigo Children, or atl least in the fact of them being any different. They just have common characteristics.

People accept positive comments even if they aren't true, or usually they accept them if they're delivered with a flaw. For instance "You're a hard worker, but sometimes you don't know when to stop." That's just a loose example, but still. My father when in a training course for his company was in a room with a psychology lecturer and about 30 other people. They all filled out a personality test beforehand, and then they were given results and a piece of paper describing their personality. When asked if they thinked the test was correct, 28 people put their hands up, my dad included. It turned out that everyone had been given the same results no matter how they answered the questions.

I'm just making the point that people will say "Yes, I'm that" if the trait is related to something positive. They want to believe they are worthy of being special, or being acknowledged. We all do it.

Okay..It's about time I drop my two cents into this.

Every time I see a psychic for a reading, they tell me I'm an indigo. Why? Probably because I seem to be intelligent and I'm about the age that indigos would be. In my experience, psychics that I've paid to get readings from(yanno, those for entertainment only types) seem to make safe guesses at what's going to happen to me, as certain opportunities tend to present themselves at fairly regular intervals. Likewise, saying that I'm an indigo child, some kind of wunderkind, would also be another safe guess according to their safe guesses range. At least, that's how I see it.

IMNSHO(In My Not-So-Humble Opinion), I think that the concept of Indigo Children is an invented one for the sake of giving parents who are inclined towards New Age material, to brag about, and to help promote the sales of various products and services to keep "helping the future saviors of the planet because Indigo Children today will be Indigo Adults tomorrow surprised ".

..Alright..That came out really harsh, and I apologize for it. I just tend to hold strong opinions concerning certain subjects and this happens to be one of them. >.>;;

Oh, and finally, this was my test result:

Some of those aren't very positive. And if you knew me in person you would know I don't accept too many comments, positive or negative.

Something tells me that that is intended to sound sarcastic. I'm far from being always right. Though, I certainly am prone to being pessimistic when it comes to some things. sweatdrop

You scored 70 Generation and 87 The Checklist!

You were born in the right generation and scored very high on the checklist criteria. You're almost definitely an indigo child! I probably don't have to tell you much about what that means, because you're driven and have a passion to do something important in this world, you're in touch with yourself and you're in touch spiritually . You were born with purpose and will be part of global change. I hope you like the results, many indigos seem to find solace in finally knowing why they are different from the general population and in knowing they are not completely alone. My test tracked 2 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender:

Somehow I think my results are only based on my self view not who I really am. Also I bet I did not score 99% in those catogories.
