Volleyball? Well, the stuff didn't look heavy, so it couldn't be that bad. "Hey Delly," she called, then jogged toward Shade, dragging her thin tail along the ground behind her. The thing had finally slowed its growth to just about four feet, and despite its annoying size it wasn't that much of a burden for her. Just, hopefully no one would trip on it.

"Volleyball is where you try to keep the ball off the ground. Usually there's a net and women in swimsuits--" Antony started out.
"Beach volleyball is a little different," Shade said, stopping the explanation. Well, he DID like watching womens' volleyball on TV, it was no wonder Antony knew about the bikinis. "Here you've got a light, air filled ball that everyone tries to keep in the air. Or a few light, air filled balls," he added evilly as he tossed the first ball to Antony, capped off the second, and tossed it to Riley.
Antony batted at the ball, sending it into the air again to land where it may.

At the first mention of volleyball Riley had looked very suspicious indeed. Fore if Shade wouldn't let her run with her arm she had no doubt he'd ban her from playing a game that required you to hit a hard ball with the lower, underside of your arm and wrist. But upon seeing a light beach ball tossed her way she relaxed. Dawning a grin she twisted slightly to lift her left arm, hitting the ball back into the air.

Laughing, Ignacio neatly sidestepped and crouched under the falling ball. With an explosive push, he knocked it back up into the air. He definitely approved of Coach Shade! Seeing Riley grin like that was great and he had gotten worried at the mention of volleyball since there was no way Shade would let Riley play normal volleyball.
Delilah stepped closer to Antony and peered down at the brightly colored ball in the boy's hands. Gingerly, she reached out to poke it with a finger. Then she looked up at Antony, looking for the next step.

"You keep it in the air," Antony explained as he batted at the ball to her. "It's very light, so it only takes a little tap."
Shade filled another ball with air, tossing it to Manny.

Delilah nodded even as the ball flew towards her. Her tongue stuck out the corner of her mouth in concentration and she moved to get under it. With a faint gasp, she set her hands under the ball and managed to launch it back into the air. Startled, she smiled brightly.

Manuela squeaked as a ball came toward her, but taking Shade's advice she only tapped it with one hand. It bounced up into the air, but didn't really go anywhere, coming down right in front of her. Frowning, she knocked it up again, but again it came down right there. Finally she kicked it, knocking it over her head and down toward Antony.

Antony batted Manny's ball back into the air, right back to her over her head.
Shade watched them for a moment, letting them play until the bell rang. "Alright, guys! Class is over, toss the balls in that corner next to my office and I'll see you tomorrow!"
