Greetings, salutatuions, and howdy.
Harkewt, if worst comes to worst, try going to the local library. They probably have internet access for free. You'd be using their computer, hardwired rather than wireless. All you need is a library card, and maybe a flash drive if you want to download anything.
Or, if your laptop works fine, but you can't log into the household wireless ... again, the library, or maybe Starbucks. Heck, some cities provide free wireless if you're within a certain area.
Silvermist and Chibi Rachel ... welcome aboard. And yes, it usually is this quiet 'round here. I still haven't decided if that's good or bad. I mean, it's not arguing, but ...

I walk into the warmly lit room, wondering where to sit. The murmuring of crowds was hushed by the deep ringing of a grand father clock, and holding my journals closer, I walked over to an empty table and sat down.

This so should be made into a subforum. It's too hard to start new topics if it's just a thread.

Maybe, maybe not. I remember the days way before when guilds were probably just being thought of by developers. All we had was one thread, and lots of conversations going on. Mostly good memories, but there were those who only left bad memories...

So this is just for casual chat. Not sure it needs a whole subforum.

Xiterrose Maybe, maybe not. I remember the days way before when guilds were probably just being thought of by developers. All we had was one thread, and lots of conversations going on. Mostly good memories, but there were those who only left bad memories... Yah. I recall a self-proclaimed Wiccan who tried to crash the party ... then got upset because we wanted to pray for him. But there's still a few of the old crew left. Chocobo was with us then, and ... weren't Lyme and Vondra part of that crew as well? Tryan and Kenshin and Topaz, too, I believe. Conversations were usually casual, but it meant that when there was a new, more serious topic, everybody saw it.

I was definitely not part of the crew pre-guild days. In fact, Xi hated me at first. I should say at second because at first I posted for a couple of days, dropped out for a month or two, then came back. I proceeded to get into quite a few arguments with people. Not to pick a fight, it just sort of happened...

My mistake. It just feels like you've always been around. Okay, that didn't come out right at all sweatdrop ... I mean, I've grown accustomed to you always being in the background, if not the foreground, so I forget it wasn't always like this.
