I officially hate Tiger...or Red's choice to make Ryan strike. One or the other. Due to pre-emptive strike on her side, she foiled both of us, all while failing to do any damage what so ever!
Though with pre-emptive strike in place her attack wasn't a counter, and now it's technically Raven and Ada's turn again.

Which isn't so bad a situation is it? I mean ...nothing venture nothing gain, and you get a second shot to end this in the second strike.

In a double battle when both Pokemon roll the same number for their team, their ATK/Sp-ATK stat, or DEF/SP-DEF (depending on the turn) is doubled. Carrot was about to be hit with 26 ATK. Erion was baaaasically gonna murder that Mienfoo. So actually if you'd rolled low enough, there was a chance to defeat you in 1 turn. Plus you won with an 8. By the skin of your teeth.

Grey Moonfang IV Plus you won with an 8. By the skin of your teeth. I am very proud of that 8 ...it saved two lives considering what you wrote would mean I had to deal with another egg. Though I think I am about to call it a night ...no one is posting anyway.

Also no you probably wou...okay maybe if that blow from Fable didn't beat you. Given resistance you wouldn't have died even under the best circumstances with that 7. The Mienfoo was totally dead though...but that wasn't really your problem.

I forgot....Strike move turns that way from being a counter-attack. So there was no fear this time.

Also even if you did counter, had Fable hit due to it being a Fire-Type attack, you still technically wouldn't have died. The failed counter would have just counted your fire resistance gaurnteeing a knockout.
