I was going to post in the rate the avatar thread, but while I was typing up Cookie's rating, Reg rated him. And I feel like I always rate Reg so I want to give him a chance to hear someone else's opinion. So grr at Reg for sniping me.

Do any of you guys read a webcomic called Questionable Content?
Because one of the recent ones basically featured my brother and his girlfriend and I enjoyed that.

Because one of the recent ones basically featured my brother and his girlfriend and I enjoyed that.  (So yes, not only do I read it, I've read the entire backlog of indietits)

It is a strange feeling watching people you know grow-up, I feel so old. A kid I have known since he was like eight has changed his profile picture on Facebook to him and his girlfriend kissing. And I'm thinking, "Since when do you have a girlfriend? Why are you kissing some girl! You are like twelve!" But he's not, he is fifteen and I still think of him as a child.
And I always hope that when I get a lot older, I will run into some of my kids from work as teenagers so I can see how they turned out. But it would also be the weirdest feeling. And my younger siblings are seven and six and we all still call them "the babies," I wonder when we will stop considering them that...

Dess, I don't think of it much as demeaning, but more of endearing. It is a good thing you call them something, rather than my siblings or my brother and sister.
That being said, I am sleeping now.
