His concentration returned as he began meditating once again. his mind was clear of his previous thoughts and was simply concentrating on the here and now. He would worry about the next training when the time came to actually do it. Besides, if he didn't have the chakra reserves to do it, then why worry about it now. Play it safe at first and then work your way to a more difficult task. Awareness prevents injury in almost every case, and he was going to be as aware as he could possibly be.
Of course his brain was thinking that he had to be aware now and so when a fish jumped out of the water to grab its lunch Tenshi's concentration broke. Not now idiot! After meditation! He moved his body to make himself more comfortable. The ground was beginning to feel bumpy and hard. He couldn't wait to stand up and do something else for a change. At least he would avoid getting wet with his next training. He would stay away from the pond as well as the moat on the other side of the wall. Though the fall would be less painful than the hard ground, it was a tough decision...
Meditation The student makes a handseal in order to focus his mind on his chakra. He then meditates and focuses within himself in order to find new chakra pathways within his body that he may not have been aware of before. With patience and persistence, he can unlock these pathways. Formula: 1d20 + Chk. Mod(2) + Chakra Control (without Int. 18 ) = 35,25 DC: 10 + Chk. Mod(2) + Chakra Control (without Int. 18 ) = 30 6/20

His meditation had returned to normal as he dived back into his chakra network. Instead of doing anything with it, he decided to just float amongst it and let it takes its course. How could he find new pathways if he didn't take the time to visit the pathways he already had? With a greater understanding of his chakra paths, perhaps he could avoid getting hurt during his surface walking.
He learned the paths his chakra took and wondered if he could reverse the flow and go the complete opposite to the way it was going now. He figured training would be the best time to find out. So he did just that and he found himself a little woozy at first, but the effect soon wore off and he was back to normal. I wonder if that would do anything with jutsu or something...
He returned it back to normal and he thought he was going to puke. He became all sweaty and decided it was best to just relax before continuing on. He had to admit it was a weird feeling, and he probably wouldn't do it again unless he had to. With his meditation almost complete it was soon time to begin climbing walls.

Mizuiro looked around for something else to replace himself with, possibly one of the practice dummies! He decided to give it a go, even though they were quite heavy. He manipulated his own body, and the object to swap places, with a puff of smoke. Once it was done, Mizuiro felt pretty good about himself, it was getting the hang of this technique.

Mizuiro needed more of the challenge now, but all he had to do was swap himself with solid object so that he could use. He looked around, and saw a table that was a little too big, but there was a few blanks of wood he could use, so he started with those. He decided to first set them up, because it was practice after all.

Once set up, Mizuiro tried to swap himself with a black, but he slipped up and he was knocked back by the blank he was trying to swap himself with. He wasn't sure HOW he did it, but he was in a little shock over it.
Kawarimi no Jutsu (Replacement Technique) Chakra Control DC 15 vs 4 (1D20) + 5 (Chakra Control) 7/10
Once the shock subsided, he carried on, moving from one black to another, It wasn't really teleporting, it was more just moving at a very fast speed, it was also a good opening technique to people who loved genjutsu, but Mizuiro never had any interest in that. He carried on until he got to the last blank of wood.

Once that was done with, he now needed a new object to swap with, he looked about, and decided to use one of the dummies once more. This time to actually seemed quite a lot more easier, as if it was becoming quite a natural process.

He was beginning to have a hard time concentrating on his chakra. Perhaps he should just give up and continue with the rest of the training he had planned for the day. His luck was beginning to wear out and he had enough chakra stored to begin the second part of his training for the day. But maybe it was a fluke? He would just have to try again and see what would happen.
He shuffled his body and straightened himself out in hopes of creating a better position to concentrate. He closed his eyes and summoned the chakra from inside him, but it soon leaked from his grasp. He decided it was best to give up for now. He had rested long enough and it was time to move on to surface walking.

Keon remembering the list of training given to him by Bumu-sensei the afternoon before heading to his part time job. He had to master both the surface walking and water walking techniques before The end of the class. Knowing They were both similar and intricate techniques Keon decided to do them both one right after the other. He cleared his mind and channeled his chakra to his feet. He did this by increasing his chakra's concentration near his lower body. The condensed chakra soon became visible around his ankles. The chakra was stagnant and unmoving. What he needed was a constant stream of chakra flowing from his feet. However he had a good start. [[Formula: 1d20 ( 18 ) + Chakra control ( 10 ) = 28 VS 20 Pass ]]
The good start was short lived. The dense chakra was too much to move. Its stagnant form was visible slightly. The boy tried to send more chakra to his feet however it was as if he were trying to send air to the bottom of a bucket of water. The chakra was simply too dense and concentrated for a steady flow to pass through or even push it. Keon would have to walk the chakra off in order to get rid of all the chakra surrounding his feet. The boy would walk around the pool a few times allowing his chakra to leave his feet with each step. This was slightly positive in a way. Besides the wasting of time he was getting used to the feeling he would have when sending a stream of chakra to his feet in order to stand on the surface of the water. [[Formula: 1d20 ( 6 ) + Chakra control ( 10 ) = 16 VS 20 Fail]]
As soon as he finished walking ten laps around the pool he was now ready to make a second attempt at mastering the chakra flow needed. Making the hand seal of ox he focused hard on his chakra. This time he kept the concentration of chakra more dense toward the top of his body and less concentrated toward the his feet. This method switched the flow of chakra downward, with the dense chakra at the top pushing the chakra below it down from under it. This method was easier than before and promoted a steady flow of chakra to his feet. If he could find a way to keep this up he could master the technique in a matter of minutes, rather than hours. [[Formula: 1d20 ( 14 ) + Chakra control ( 10 ) = 24 VS 20 Pass]]
His good fortune continued he was able to keep the flow of chakra to his feet steady and even. He was really making progress along with this jutsu. Although he hated ninjutsu he was fond of this one because it would give him an edge on those who did use it against him. Especially those who used Suiton style attacks on him. He was beginning to like this training. He was doing well at it for some reason and if fate would make this training easy for him who was he to deny some help. However he did find it weird that it was harder for him to learn Gouken style that than it was to get some chakra flow under control. [[Formula: 1d20 ( 13 ) + Chakra control ( 10 ) = 23 VS 20 Pass]]
This upset would remain only temporary as his chakra would continue to flow steadily. How could any true warrior be mad a progress of any kind. He was going to quickly finish, not only this but also the surface walking technique. And after he was done training the two jutsu he would met up with Bumu-sensei for some Genjutsu Kai training. He knew he wasn't going in the proper order she listed the training. However he did need to meet up with Shinzu before he left the academy. He was sure Bumu-sensei would be more happy than upset with him for his decision. [[Formula: 1d20 ( 19 ) + Chakra control ( 10 ) = 29 VS 20 Pass]]

Still needing to recover from his near death experience, he decided to just take a little break. He had a lot to think about, like how if he couldn't get past this moment, how could he ever be a real shinobi? That question didn't even cross his mind, he just knew the answer right away. "I am a shinobi, death happens." He then proceeded with his training.

Mizuiro suddenly felt ready to do this technique one more time, with the classic log. He knew he could just do it this time, he could feel it. beginning with the hand seals, and then channeling his chakra, he threw a rock in the air, and then began replacing himself. By the time the rock came down to hit him on the head, the log was now perfectly in Mizuiro's place. In a puff of a smoke, the log dropped to the ground, while the rock tumbled away. Mizuiro was happy with himself now, he could do this technique anytime. He just knew it.

Once again his training would come to a halt. As the dense chakra that was once pushing down from his chest was now clogging the bottom of his feet. He had to once again take a few laps around the pool before he was able to feel a flow form once again. from here he would have to create yet another dense chakra cell even higher on his body. Maybe the head. However he would decide this sooner than later as the chakra that was trapping the chakra above it was soon dispersed. [[Formula: 1d20 ( 2 ) + Chakra control ( 10 ) = 12 VS 20 Fail]]
As soon as he had the chance he was once again sending a flow of chakra to his feet. He was getting better and better with each passing second. He was even more shocked that the only reason he was failing at the training was his own inability to deal with dense chakra. Maybe he would try to break up the chakra as it lowered. He would simply deal with that as it came. He was having a hard enough time focusing on making it dense to begin with. Everything was in order as of now and he liked it that way, regardless of his past failures. [[Formula: 1d20 ( 16 ) + Chakra control ( 10 ) = 26 VS 20 Pass]]
Once again his good fortune would hold up. It was almost as if he were trapped in a repeating pattern. He would progress greatly then falter slightly. It seemed to have happened twice and at the same interval. However realizing this meant that he was able to keep the flow of chakra and think of other matters simultaneously. This would prove a great skill once he actually step foot on the water. He could focus on fighting wile atop the water instead of keeping his balance and making sure not to fall under. The steady stream was enough to suffice for stepping on the water. [[Formula: 1d20 ( 10 ) + Chakra control ( 10 ) = 20 VS 20 Pass]]
He wanted to test his theory so to do so he took one foot and stepped out onto the water. His foot was able to bear some of his weight without plummeting through the water. He was intrigued by this in the sense that he'd never, in all his life, thought it possible for him to step flat on water as if it were solid ground. His progress was great. Too great in fact that he now just didn't believe it was true. He thought it some cruel joke Bumu-sensei was pulling on him. Some genjutsu she was using to teach him a lesson about following directions. In reality he probably was drowning at the bottom of the pool. And Although this was not truly happening the boy still had the urge to hold his breath. So he did. [[Formula: 1d20 ( 13 ) + Chakra control ( 10 ) = 23 VS 20 Pass]]

Although holding his breath was a horrible idea it didn't seem to harm his progression of mastering this jutsu. He was doing well enough to continue holding his breath, but this was not to say it wasn't holding him back. His chakra flow was stifled a bit to the point where he could keep what was already in motion moving. However the moving chakra was almost already at his feet. He moved his foot out of the water just before the last of it could run out. [[Formula: 1d20 ( 11 ) + Chakra control ( 10 ) = 21 VS 20 Pass]]
Gasping for air the boy was finally out of breath, and moving chakra. It turned out he wasn't actually under a genjutsu, because if he was the sudden inhalation of air would have killed him, since he'd be swallowing water and not air. His hands would come to rest on his knees as he bent over and allowed his chest to heave, bellowing in and out rapidly. His lungs had to expel all of its carbon dioxide before he could resume his training. For some reason it was taking longer to get the bad air out than the good air in. [[Formula: 1d20 ( 7 ) + Chakra control ( 10 ) = 17 VS 20 Fail]]
After getting himself together he was ready to move on to the next level. He was very confident in in his progress up to this point. He had gotten used to the flow of chakra and could now summon it without a problem. He would take a step out onto the water. His feet would start to sink, slowly. Keon would up the flow of chakra and he stopped sinking. He sighed finally being able to stand on the water with both feet. He was still at the shallow end standing just above the second step into the pool.
He tried to move his feet however it was weird moving around on water. There was no friction at all, and he had to rely on drag to stop him from simply sliding all over the place. However this was not to dismiss the fact that his chakra was flawlessly pushing him upward with just enough force to stay buoyant and afloat. He couldn't help but smile and chuckle at his quick progression. He soon made a resolution to walk across the pool from one side to the other, the short way of course. Keon was readily balanced. He was Ready to make the first step. It was easy. For some reason He was able to take a firm stance on the water. It moved slightly under him and he bounced up and down on the water. He was even bold enough to take a second step. The water moved a bit more under him casing ripples and waves. It was harder to take a step on this and getting a firmer stance was getting more and more difficult.
Keon took a deep breath as he prepared for yet another try at moving forward along on the water. He had to dig his feet into the water in order to get enough drag to start stationary. The boy was getting better at moving atop the water surface. Once again he was amazed at his progress. This time he just accepted it, as hard as it was to do so. His fourth step would be just as difficult as the rest. However this time he chose not to dig his feet in the water to truly walk on top of the water. [[Formula: 1d20 ( 20 ) + Dexterity ( 4 ) = 24 VS 14 Pass x2]]
He would prove to have made that leap a bit too soon. His foot slipped atop the water and soon he was flat on his back. He was sinking in the water, but his buoyant feet stayed above the surface. He was now upside down in the water and the shock caused by the quick drastic drop in temperature made him gasp with the few seconds his mouth was above the water, and just a few seconds after filling his mouth with water. [[Formula: 1d20 ( 4 ) + Dexterity ( 4 ) = 8 VS 14 Fail]]
He would soon focus chakra to his hands. He swam up so he was flat on his back. Flipping to his stomach he was able to move up to his hands and knees. From there he was able to stand fully. It was hard but at least he wasn't still in the cold water. He shuddered and shivered as his body tried its hardest to warm him back up. Although the shock to his body due to the temperature of the water did actually help him focus his chakra more. the jolt to the system was a good enough lead. He was now standing firm on the waters. [[Formula: 1d20 ( 16 ) + Dexterity ( 4 ) = 20 VS 14 Pass]]
He took another step, remembering to dig deep into the water to summon as much drag as possible between his foot and the water. Keon lifted his leg and shifted his weight from one leg to the other one. It was now that Keon could understand the extremely difficult process that walking really was. Having to learn it again was beginning to be a real pain in the a**. This would not stop him from continuing the training He took two more steps. [[Formula: 1d20 ( 14 ) + Dexterity ( 4 ) = 18 VS 14 Pass]]
Keon had to take a break to catch his breath. He didn't understand how difficult it was to keep his balance on top of water. He was using so many small muscles, most of which he didn't even know existed. He would pant for no more than ten seconds. As soon as his muscles had enough rest to stop burning unbearably he was back to taking steps. He took two more steps and was now half way there. He would only need to keep this up for a few more minutes. This training was almost over and he was now considering himself quite proficient at a training of this magnitude. The boy would have s sudden run with bad luck as his feet would sink rather rapidly, and to top it this would happen just above the deepest part in the pool. He would sink to the bottom in a matter of seconds. He hit the bottom so hard his legs buckled. The weight of his gauntlets weighed him down. The metal plates to dense to rise above water. Swimming from so far down wouldn't be an option. He'd have to hold his breath and focus his chakra to his feet and hands to make them buoyant enough to float. [[Formula: 1d20 ( 7 ) + Dexterity ( 4 ) = 11 VS 16 Fail]]
He tried to get his chakra to work but it just wasn't enough. He was stuck there flailing under the water. When I get out of here I'm learning how to swim. However the action would be in vain. By the time he got out of the this situation he'd never actually need to swim. However in this situation he couldn't get any worse. He was under water and holding his breath. He would need to get atop the water to at least get a breath of air. If he didn't get some air soon he would be at risk of drowning. [[Formula: 1d20 ( 10 ) + Dexterity ( 4 ) = 14 VS 16 Fail]]
It took almost dying to get the motivation needed to get himself in order. His chakra acted almost on its own. His hands and feet started to glow. He pushed off of the ground and grabbed onto the surface of the water. He started to climb up the water. He gasped for air once he broke through the surface. He rested once he got hi chest above the water. He simply laid there his chakra flowing through his chest to keep his head above water. He choked, coughing up water and sighed once he was done.
He was shaken and a bit scared. This wasn't supposed to happen. He was simply supposed to take twenty steps form one side to the other. He didn't think it would be all that bad. Guess things never turn out as you plan. Good lesson to learn early in life. They boy wasn't to keen on this training anymore however he did want to get from the pool and the only way to do so was to finish his training. He lifted his feet and made two more steps. He dug deep into the water to make sure he had a good foothold. [[Formula: 1d20 ( 14 ) + Dexterity ( 4 ) = 18 VS 16 Pass]]
However no matter how hard he dug his foot into the water. His inhibitions would continue to haunt, and hold him back. He tried for another step, rushing it. He was not cautions and because of it slipped. He fell on his back, but because of his good chakra control was able to land on his back and keep afloat. However it did feel as if he had landed on much harder ground. and his back stung from the impact. [[Formula: 1d20 ( 11 ) + Dexterity ( 4 ) = 15 VS 16 Fail]]
Keon quickly stood up. He had made so much progress that he was moving his chakra to parts of his body that would make contact with the water. By now he was already back on his feet. He was taking more fluid steps. He'd be touching down on the opposite side in only a few seconds. He was walking more subconsciously than before. His steps were now flowing from one to the next as if he were on ground. He was able to adjust his chakra flow in direct coordination with the shifting of his weight. [[Formula: 1d20 ( 12 ) + Dexterity ( 4 ) = 16 VS 16 Pass]]
His steps were flowing form one to the other so well he tried to turn directions. He was able to move more decisively. He took some strides. Began to pick up the pace. Soon he was running atop the water and was making tight turns and spins. His chakra was now in sync with his equilibrium. His sense of balance now directly influencing the fluctuation of its concentration to certain parts of his body. the only thing that would be needed is a trigger. Something to set it off.
To set up a mental mechanism, he ran out of the water and stopped the flow of chakra. He would run laps around the pool and cut through it at different points. This would allow his body to pick it up as a trait of second nature. Anytime his foot made contact with a water-like substance he would immediately send chakra there to keep himself afloat. It was a good trick to make himself do it as second nature so he could treat it the same as walking on ground or breathing. Something he hadn't have to think of to do. [[Formula: 1d20 ( 20 ) + Dexterity ( 4 ) = 24 VS 16 Pass x2]]
As soon as it was nailed down to second nature, Keon began to do tricks on the water. He practiced his Gouken stance, and even a few punches and kicks. The fact that he was able to keep his balance while doing these things showed that he had finally master the technique. So much had happened before this moment to make it better. The failures along the way, and the almost drowning made this feat all the more tasteful in his mouth. The victory was good. He jogged off of the pool and made his way to one of the classrooms. He would take a break for lunch and return to his training after it. He had a lot of things he wanted to get done on his list of trainings before the end of the night.
