Gambler lead Rave to the couch and sat him down. She quickly picked up everything that she left on the table in front of them and took them to the kitchen table. "Sorry about the mess." She smiled meekly and sat down with Rave, grabbing one of his hands and holding it. "You don't have to talk right away. Take you time and relax okay?" She wanted to keep Rave comfortable. He didn't look to happy and that got her seriously worried.

Without saying anything, Rave brought Gambler close, burying his head into her hair, sighing. Things had gotten bad, and he didn't like it whatsoever. Rave was someone that always stayed calm, no matter what happened. But what happened down there... It just killed him. Facing the person that had literally ruined his life was hard.
Kyin had done most of the work, but it was up to Rave to finish off the man. He had told them that Eldin wasn't responsible, but it was Marn. Eldin was still guilty of some things though, and that couldn't be looked over. Rave sighed again, holding her closer but careful to not hurt Gambler. Things were just too bad right now.

Gambler was surprised but kicked it away from her. Wrapping her arms around Rave, she held him closer, rubbing his back softly. She wanted to ease what ever bothered him, she wanted to erase all his pain and if she had that kind of power she would but she couldn't. There was one thing she could do and that was help him get through it. She was good at doing that. When they had first spoke in Joker's house she meant what she said. She would be here for him whenever he needed it and she would help carry some of his pain. That's what she could do. She hugged him tighter and letting the calm silence enshroud them.

That calm sense was what Rave needed, and he needed it badly. Sighing, he parted a few minutes later, kissing the top of her head, "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have done that." He sighed, not used to showing that type of obvious weakness to anyone. Kissing her again, he continued to hold Gambler close. "What all happened while we were gone?" That was a nice subject change...

Shaking her head she kissed his nose. "You have every right to do that. If you didn't I would have to scold you for not doing so." She said to gently tease him but he face fell at his question and shook her head. "I think you still need to hug me or something. I warn you. It's complicated and please, please don't turn into a meanie monster. Do I have your word?" She asked, wanting to know that he wasn't going to pop a nerve by this news and wanting to go kill the demon.

Holding her close, Rave quickly went to his normal protective self. "Eldin's not hurt is he?" He knew that Monty definitely didn't like the kid, but hopefully he didn't attack the poor kid. "But you have my word, Gambler. What happened?" Rave started to play certain scenarios in his mind, wondering what had happened to make her ask him to make sure he stayed calm.

"No. Eldin as been very good and slept most of the time until it was time to eat. He's not what happened." She looked at him warily. "I'm going to let you know this because your going to find out anyways." Gambler proceeded to tell him the situation between Monty and Kalore. They seemed like everything was good, even if she slept through most of it but when she woke up she spoke with Monty and got the truth out of him. Then she spoke about how everything went normal but in a bad way. "I don't think his apology went well. Or them making up is possible now. He didn't mean to do it in a cruel way. I know when he does cruel things. I know because he did them to me, you know? So...Don't go after him." She said and held him close. "I think they should fix it on their own until they need assistance."

Closing his eyes, Rave felt a twitch under his eye and over his eye brow, but the man continued to breathe. "So...He kissed him...And the apology didn't go well..." Rave knew that no matter how confident and out there Kalore acted, a kiss meant something to him. Throughout all of his little 'conquests' he very rarely would kiss someone. "I see..." But Rave had no clue on how to take this. "And you're positive it wasn't out of cruelty?"

Gambler gritted her teeth. She rose to the defend of the demon and looked at Rave squarely in the eye. "I swear on the day I fell that it wasn't out of cruelty. If it was, Kalore would be more broken in ways you can't image. As I said I know. Monty didn't to me." She said, proud that she was calm and not about to lose herself to that wound in a certain muscle she called a heart. "I think it would be best if they were kept separated from each other for a bit, until Kalore is a hundred percent better." She said and touched Rave's cheek.
"Don't confront Monty, please? He's not one to take this lightly and I can bet my life that he's thinking about it and not all too pleased about what he did. It won't happen again." She said.
Gambler couldn't have been more right about that because Monty was indeed thinking about it and vowed that it would never happen again. If it did, then let him suffer the worst kind of pain in all the nine gates of hell. He started hammering, nailing, sawing and putting together his shed, little by little.

Blinking, Rave stood up and nodded, kissing her forehead, "I had no plans on it. I had to ask because, no offense to your group, he's a demon, Gambler. I just dealt with someone that puts demons to shame when it comes to cruelty and I'm a little on edge. Coming here to hear about that automatically put me on edge. Kalore has had an... interesting past. I'm not judging or accusing Monty, Gambler. I'm looking out for my friend just like you are looking out for your comrade."
He didn't like the fact of Gambler thinking that he would get in the middle of this. Rave just didn't want Monty to hurt Kalore like what Eri did. Eri almost destroyed Kalore, but that was in more ways than anyone thought possible. He ruined the man's life.

Gambler raised a brow. "I know he's a demon. It's a fact he likes to remind me of." She said and sat back on the couch with her hands clasped together. "I never implied to not look out for Kalore. I mean, I can understand that he's had it bad and so has Monty, believe it or not. Though, it's not my place to ask about Kalore or to share about Monty."
Shaking her head she looked at him. "I'm just saying don't go near Monty. Kalore is your friend and because of that he would need you more than anyone because he trusts you. If he didn't you both wouldn't stick together." She said that and then shutted up.
Maybe Rave didn't need to spoken to like that. It wasn't her place and he sure as hell didn't ask for her opinion, even if she gave it freely. Bad move on her part.

Rave sighed and shook his head, "Gambler... I have no reason to go anywhere near that demon unless you ask me to. I don't talk with him, I don't interact with him at all. Just because Kalore had some problems with Monty doesn't mean that I'm going to play mom. He's an adult and can handle himself." Kalore didn't react much during this whole Lucien problem, so Rave would give him the same respect. Neither one of them liked people coming in giving them comfort or pity. If they wanted it, they would ask for it. Only certain people that they cared about were allowed to give it to them.

Raising her hands up in surrender, Gambler nodded. "I'm only looking out for an old friend." She said quietly and dropped it. There wasn't a point to continue talking about it because it was going to frustrate Rave and she didn't want that. He just came back from doing his job and well, it wasn't fair that he be pestered about something that couldn't be helped. She wouldn't say another word unless Rave asked her.

Body dropping slightly, Rave sat down next her, sighing. "Sorry... I just didn't see why you were saying that... If anything I said was offensive, I apologize." Rave didn't think that he had said anything that would offend her, but if he did he would make amends for it.

Gambler looked up at him, cupping his cheek and rested her forehead against his. "Don't you ever apologize for looking out for your friend, just like I won't apologize for defending my demon. I will apologize for bringing it up when your on edge and needing to relax. No more talk on that. If you have something important to tell me then I'm all ears." She kissed his nose. "Otherwise, you relax and be calm. You being on edge is stealing my thunder." She said, lightly teasing him and kissed his nose forehead.
