"All right." Jacob agreed, "Right after I've found something..."

He spotted something, it was a large-a** sword, a saber, quite decorative. Jacob's eyes widened and he approached it, C'mon! he thought, Resonate! Resonate!
He touched it.

Nothing. "Damn." he mumbled, "Probably couldn't afford it anyway..."
He turned and saw something else, a small, fist-sized ball. It was white and seemed to have wings folded into itself. It had four, spike-like protrusions coming out of it and a red cross on it's surface. It rested on what appeared to be a long, thin tail that thickened into a flat, flame-shaped tip.

Jacob reached out to inspect it, he felt some sort of pull towards it, "I think this is it." Jacob commented.

A week passed; Linda emerged from the forge for the first time in days and gave Joe the saber, and, having learned much about the economics of Xanadu 3 in the meantime, demanded about fifty of Joe's time-credits, which he gave in return for the Saint's Saber, a magnificent piece of metal with a somewhat odd design, which Roland explained to him allowed it to direct mana more effectively.

Jacob and Joe worked together under Sebastian, who taught them earth and healing, though Jacob had minimal success with healing. Sebastian allowed them to complete their training for a few time-credits from each - a token cost, for one of his considerable skill.

Joe took part in a meeting between Consul Iblis and the Hunters' Coven leaders. The Djinni and the Clockwork Knights were officially giving their allegiance to the Coven after several Demons and Warlocks had supported a Sage attack in Gaza.

Renard remained nowhere to be seen.

Takeshi woke up on the fifth day and began his physical therapy for recovery, only to be interrupted by Agnese, who healed him back to his previous capabilities. The process to convert Takeshi into a Bloodhound had been made problematic by Gertrude having, apparently, escaped the Paris base from which she was to be transferred.
