He didn't like the way she was reacting at all and was more convinced than ever that there was more to this story. "Then what are you afraid of, Savryn?" Shaking his head and walking over to her, gently laying his hands on her shoulders. "I can't take you back there like this. You need to sit down and calm down and tell me what's wrong."

"The water you b*****d!" She swung at him as he came close, not that she did anything to hurt him as she missed completely and he took hold of her. How could he act like he didn't know! He just wanted her to admit it or something. Frankly she was close to crying again and she didn't want to do that more, she was humiliated enough. "We're leaving!"

The water? He gently caught her before she could fall down and hurt herself and pulled her into his arms. "Savryn..." Shaking his head. He couldn't leave with her like this and in the heat of the day and she needed to calm down anyway. "You need to calm down a little bit. Take deep breaths, okay? We can't leave right now. Just sit here with me and talk to me."

Wait what was that tone that entered his voice? She swore if that was anything akin to pity she was going to rip his vocal cords right out the front of his throat. Apparently though he was going to be stubborn enough to say they weren't going anywhere. To appease him she did take a few deep breaths, though that didn't solve the her being soaking wet problem. "I don't want to talk about it." Stubborn as always.

One eyebrow rose and he really just wanted to choke her. But he had to remember that she had just been soaked to the bone and if she was afraid of water...well it made sense. "Then don't. Strip, dry off, and get some more reverie. We aren't leaving until the sun goes down and that's that. Cosmyk doesn't need to be pushed any further than she already has been and it's not safe." And if she argued with him anymore he swore he was going to strip her down and dry her off himself.

Savryn made an obviously displeased noise before pushing away from him once again and duly took to stripping down. Not because she cared what he thought or that he was even there, but more because the sooner she got out of wet clothes the sooner she would dry and since they apparently weren't going anywhere for a few hours yet. Though rather than stay in the tent, she grabbed her cloak which had remained safe in the tent and thus not waterlogged, she splayed it outside the side of the tent in the half shaded spot and plopped herself on it. Might as well put the stupid sun to some use.

He was going to strangle her. What in the hell was she thinking? First of all, stripping down in front of him was not the best idea. He was a man for heaven's sakes and at first he hadn't even realized exactly what she was doing. And when he did...well, he didn't want to think about that. Then she'd taken herself outside, bare as the day she was born. And in the middle of pirates and everything else. Whether she could take care of herself or not was not the point. "What are you doing?!" Marching outside, he reached down and plucked her off the cloak, tossing her over his shoulder and walking back toward the tent. "If you shock me, I swear Savryn..."

"I am using the forsaken sun to help dry myself." And he was being irritating, not to mention the no no of touching her without indicating he was going to do. That did not help her emotional and rather vulnerable state at the moment. Rather than fight him in normal fashion she was merely limp as he carried her. "Please stop touching me and grabbing me before saying you're going to do so or hinting at it..." Said in a softer tone rather than yelling at him...she just couldn't take it right now...

As he'd been expecting the vixen, he was rather surprised when he was greeted by the docile lamb. What was going on? He carried her into the tent and gently set her down, tipping her chin up so that she was 'looking' at him, even if she couldn't see. The resigned expression on her face made him frown. "Vryn, talk to me. What's really wrong?"

"All you've done since you've been around me is wreck my world. Everytime I find it, you touch or you move or you grab. Everytime you do that, the world I've figured out around me blurs and it's gone and I'm left wondering what's around me." There, she'd admitted it and maybe now he'd leave her alone about it. And now she didn't even have her cloak to dry with or something. "I just want to finish this and get it over with..." So she could go back to being mean and cold and not give a damn.

What? No, really, he was confused. Perhaps it was because he himself wasn't blind and couldn't truly understand that world. Was she right? Probably. If it was affecting Savryn and she was actually willing to talk about, then chances were pretty good that he was messing up big time. "I never thought about it that way before... I'm sorry, Vryn. I never meant to make it hard for you to move around. I just wanted to help."

"Most people don't." Which is why she hated to be touched or approached in sneaky manners. It disoriented her more than she'd like to admit sometimes. Adding water to it all recently only made it worse. "You don't know how to help, you weren't interested in what Dhairiss wanted to teach you about it all." Trying to regain her demeanor some and crossing her arms over her chest. "Forget about it. Just be careful when you grab."

"How can they when you don't ever tell anybody anything? People try to help you and you get defensive. People try to befriend you and you push them away. People try to offer you friendly advice and you bite their heads off." Shaking his head and crossing his arms. "What are you so afraid of?"

Why was he persuing things? Or better yet why was he questioning them? She had her life set a certain way and she liked it that way. Savryn didn't care what anyone else thought because they were usually bias and wrong anyway. "I'm not afraid. It's just the way things are. I'm not going to waste my time with people who come and go or just want to make things easier for me." Shrugging. "I don't let myself be a victim of anyone's."

"That's precisely my point, Savryn. Some people aren't out to make your life easier and don't care two bits about the fact that you can't see them. It doesn't matter to them. They want you for you and not out of pity or whatever other bullshit reason you want to come up with. But you can't accept that, can you? Because you're blind? Come now, Vryn. D'vinn's are better than that. They know they can't be loners. Why do you think you can?"
