I play the Flute abd Piccolo. =D But, I'm better at the Piccolo then I am at Flute. I'm also the music librarian for my school. =D

Either I am blind and didn't read the board right, or there are no flute topics. I saw other instrument topics so I thought I'd make one too. Um flute players, any of out there?

Today was our first day of school and my first day playing with a different band. I was different, probably 'cause most the class forgot their instruments. sweatdrop We played pep band music, and I felt weird, 'cause the other two flutes were organizing stuff . . . But enough of my ranting, please, come talk!!

Oh Yeah!!! Flutes rock the house with a quiet presence!!! Recently we(some members of the band) went to a solo and ensemble competition. I was in an ensemble. Now, IDK if the scoring is the same all over but in ohio, 1 is you rock, 2 is good but you just need to practice a little more, 3 is your alright, 4 is you suck, 5 is never pick up and instrument and you should probably drop out of band. Nobody in our school got less than a three and our ensemble got a 2. Id say we deserve a big congrats for that considering we had 3 days to practice that song. biggrin

yeah, that's really great, considering i got a 60 out of 100 on a solo audition. it was the scales that got me.

HI I am a flute player and heart I LOVE IT!!! heart I would LOVE to talk to flutists too. I have been playing flute for a few years ...... and I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I also played clarinet. But I like flute a lot better!!!
