Monty looked at Kalore and froze his heart up. "I want nothing. And you shouldn't get nothing from someone like me. I don't apologize to anyone but I will to you." He said, letting the ice go in through his veins and into his eyes. "I apologize for what I did. It will never happen again. Though that will not mean that I think differently and will treat you any differently like the others. I meant it when I said your my comrade." He said and turned to face the door. "That is where I stand. Take it or leave it." He said, straightening his shoulder. He looked over his shoulder at Kalore if he was going to respond.

It wasn't a surprising reply, but it still stung slightly. Of course nothing can come from this. He was scarred, and even if he wasn't, you're not exactly someone that people want, Marcessa. Sighing, Kalore nodded, "Okay." Mouthing that out, he actually allowed some form of emotion show in his eyes as he sighed, nodding. He didn't want to allow that, but his green eyes were betraying him.

Monty raised a brow. "Where do you stand? Or rather....What are you thinking about right now?" He asked, surprising himself that he cared about someone else's thoughts other than his own. There was a time that he cared but after a certain amount of time, he lost interest. That's what happens when your as old as this demon. With that being said, he saw emotion in the elf's eyes and wanted to know what it was. He wanted to care but he didn't, not with the ice in his veins, in his heart and eyes.

A small smile came to his lips as Kalore wrote down what he was thinking and where he stood, "I'm in a draw here, Monty. The kiss confused me, and so did your reactions to it. I don't understand how you could kiss someone and then just act as if it never happened when you get a reaction like that. It also confuses me because you said you weren't going to be into men again, but here you are. I don't expect anything from this, but my curiosity is still there." He shrugged and stood up, turning his back on Monty as he went to get some coffee. That was where he stood, and if Monty didn't like it he could kiss his skinny little a**.

Furrowing his brows, Monty turned his head. "If you want more fruits then come and get it." He said gruffly and walked out without another look or word to Kalore. He marched into the kitchen and went to work on cooking, helping Gambler make something for them. He went ahead and made something for Eldin and saved it under a plate and then washed some meat. "I'm going to spare you the questions, demon." "Good." He replied and thought that there was nothing that he could except stay well the hell away from Kalore so that the demon didn't make anymore mistakes.

So Kalore did mess up. Sighing, he just leaned his head on his arms, looking at the piano. He didn't know what to do. Monty was probably now back to quare one with him, not friends, not enemies, just there. Kalore sighed. He hated that, but there wasn't anything that he could do about it.
Sniffing the air, Eldin started to wake up. He yawned cutely and looked around for his crutches. Seeing as the shadows were gone, he was guessing that Rave had left to go with Lord Kyin. So... Lucien's dead then. Sighing, Eldin found his crutches and made his way to the kitchen, pleasantly surprised to see Gambler. "Miss Gambler...Hey!" A smile was on his face at seeing her. Yes, Monty was there... But he made sure to stay far far away from him.

Gambler turned around and smiled warmly at Eldin. "Hey Eldin! Did you sleep well? I hope you did. I'll go beat up the idiot who messed up your legs." She walked away from cooking, which Monty smoothly came in and took over and ignoring the elf, and walked to hug Eldin. "I hope your hungry. We made you some nice lunch so go ahead and sit down, relax and enjoy this awesome lunch of awesomeness." She said and went to go and get it. "This time around I made it so there is not problems with it." She said with a smile and placed the plate on the table. "Want anything else?" She asked with a big smile.

Eldin somehow hugged her back and then went over to the table, smiling wide at her, "Thank you, Miss Gambler. Yes, I did sleep well." But then he looked a little confused, "I'm not complaining, Miss Gambler, but what are you doing back here?" He thought that she had things that needed to be done, and it had only been a couple of hours. Surely she didn't get done that quickly. Eldin looked at his food and smiled, "This is perfect, Miss Gambler, thank you."

Gambler asked if Monty could handle the rest of the cooking and he nodded, lost to his own thoughts and she looked at him with concern. Then she looked at Eldin with a big smile. "Well, I finished up my stuff. Everything has been set up for you guys but for that house. I just hired a large group of workers who needed a job and they are going to make your homes super good. Like hurricane proof, earthquake proof, flood proof and.....Everything else proof. Though, I can't promise it's demon proof." She said and covered her face in case Monty was going to through something at her but it didn't come. "Hmmm...I guess you can tame a demon. I promise I'll show you how to make him jump through hoops Eldin." she winked. Monty didn't care to respond because he rather have everything go back to normal than have things arkward.

Watching this all with curiosity, Eldin nodded slowly, "I see." But soon he looked around and his brows furrowed, "Where's Kalore?" He was surprised that the blonde elf wasn't around. Kalore didn't like to be by himself all that much, and now that his voice was gone, Eldin thought that Kalore would stick with people more so that they would know to not worry about him.

Gambler shrugged. "He's relaxing. I want him to stay away from Monty because this demon will cause Kalore to die of laughter." She grinned and told Eldin the whole story about Monty coming back from the city and how she made Kalore laugh so hard from doing the standing drop kick. Monty scowled and growled softly. "Damned heathen." He grumbled and finished the meat. Gambler laughed softly. "Why you trust me is beyond me."

A hand was placed over Eldin's mouth so that he didn't laugh out loud at the demon. That was bad. Monty scared him enough, and he didn't need Monty to be after him for this as well. Nodding to Gambler, the boy began eating the food, smiling to himself. After a couple of bites, Eldin smiled at Gambler, "This tastes great. Thank you."

Gambler grinned and reached over to pat Eldin's cheek affectionately. "I'm glad it does because I had to wager alot just to make your food." She shot a glare at Monty as he came to serve her and himself food. He sat in front of Eldin and went to eat, ignoring the elf and not really caring if the elf spoke to him or laughed at him, which was a good thing that he didn't after Gambler's story. That would have been horrible for the elf. Gambler grinned at her food and patted Monty on the back. "Good job. Your suppassing Joker." She looked at Eldin and winked. "Don't tell the insane man that. He would be so heart broken." She said.

The boy giggled slightly but then looked down as Monty sat in front of him. It wasn't that Eldin was feeling guilty. No. It was just that the demon scared the hell out of him! Before anything else could be said, Kalore walked in. Without giving anyone a glance, the blonde elf searched for the fruit. Eldin watched him, sensing that something was really off, but knowing that it had more to do with than just him.

"Kalore! Come eat with us! You can't leave me here with all these manly men here." She pouted and looked at her food. Monty finished up and went to place the dish in the sink. He passed Kalore, not looking at the elf. Ignoring him like he does everyone and walked out. "Your turn to wash Gam." He said and went to get his weapon, taking it apart and putting them back together. Gambler nodded and looked at Kalore. "Come on beautiful. Sit with us." She said, sympathy trying to make itself known in her eyes but it refused to give it to Kalore because she didn't think he would want that.
